This time WE are the invaders!
The crew of a bomber are forced down over Holland & are helped by the Dutch & escape back to England.
Else Meertens: Do you think that we Hollanders who threw the sea out of our country will let the Germans have it? Better the sea.
[as RAF bombers approach]::Jo de Vries: You see. That's what you're doing for us. Can you hear them running for shelter? Can you understand what that means to all the occupied countries? To enslaved people, having it drummed into their ears that the Germans are masters of the Earth. Seeing those masters running for shelter. Seeing them crouching under tables. And hearing that steady hum night after night. That noise which is oil for the burning fire in our hearts.
Tom Earnshaw, Copilot in B for Bertie: We want to get back, raid or no raid. Now look here, Mrs. de Vries, I don't...::Jo de Vries: Are you in command of this party?::Sir George Corbett, Rear Gunner in B for Bertie: No, no, no, he's just a Yorkshireman.
Jo de Vries: I give you a toast. Louis? [Her servant fills all of their glasses] It has been our motto since the House of Orange drove out the Spaniards 300 years ago. "Je Maintiendrai." [All drink] It's nice to be a woman again, even for half an hour.::Geoff Hickman, Front Gunner in B for Bertie: What do they reckon that motto of yours means, then, ma'am?::Jo de Vries: "We can take it."
Wake up alone and find
It's the wheels just rollin in my mind
Cant stop to think or see
Is this really what God cut for me
You think I'd love to see nothing
But the wheels just rollin round and
I throw my head back and I'm blind
You can stop sometime
If you ever do, you'll lose your mind
It's more than a dream to me
Just an alibi for rivalry
You think I'd love to see nothing
But the wheels just bearing down and
I throw my head back and I go blind
When I look back at my life sometimes
I see it all as broken lines
Running over
When you look up to me
Well it's hard to understand sometimes
When I go put mine on the line
And it's hard
As it always used to be
They dont care
(forget this line)
Like the old boys
Runnin in the night
Cross the borders, between their own headlights
Runnin them hard
When I open up and find
There's another part of life sometimes
When you look up at me and find
And I know that its hard to understand
Who would expect someone to ever give out their hand
To someone like me?
Gotta understand
It's a cold stormy day
Get out there and see
Like the old boys
Runnin in the night
Cross the borders, between their own headlights
Runnin, runnin
Cross that border
Just runnin them hard
Hold me tight, don't let me go,
oh I'm the one who takes you home tonight
Whisperin' Whiskey and Gin
I'm the one who takes you home tonight
oh Yeah, yeah, yeah,
oh Yeah, yeah, yeah,
Talk to me quietly
I'm the one who takes you home tonight
If you can, be my woman,
oh I'm the one who takes you home tonight
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
That's right
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah, oh
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I want to take you down to the river
I want to wash the blood from your hands
I want to make you see
You belong to me
You won't ever win
I want to walk out over the water
I want to tear my heart from my chest
I want to change my face
Wanna leave this place
Start all over again
Well don't you know
You're wasted
You got more than you asked for
Wasted
You walk in through the out door
Oh, you're a lucky kid
Wasted
I want to turn you into a Corvette
I want to drive you out of your mind
I want to watch your face
When you reach that place
That you could never find
I want to make you scream for mercy
I want to break the silence within
And take you to your knees
Just like you did me
And crawl around in your skin
Oh don't you know
Wasted
You got more than you asked for
Wasted
You walk out through the in door
Oh, you're a lucky kid
Wasted
Oh, you're a lucky kid
Wasted
You got more than you asked for
Wasted
You went in through the out door
You tasted
What you never had before
You wasted everything
And now you're such a bore
Oh, you're a lucky kid
Wasted
Oh, cause I know what you did
Wasted
Oh, you're a lucky kid
I got your number
Oh, you get away with it.
i'll tell you about the driver who lives inside my head
starts me up and stops me and puts me into bed
he opens up my mouth when it's time for me to talk
fires up my legs when he wants me to walk
keeps my eyes open most of the day
adds to my memory the things that people say
when he makes decisions i dont have to wait
but sometimes it seems he's got to much on his plate
like this morning when i woke up and he dressed me in this shirt
that looks a little ragged where he drug me through the dirt
i'm moving through this life and i'm thinking about the next
and hoping when i get there i'll be better dressed
keeps my eyes open for most of the day
adds to my memory the things that people say
when he makes decisions i dont have to wait
Well, I'm waiting for the driver
(To) get on the bus
Waiting for the driver but he ain't gonna fuss
He's got Manson eyes, he's got cocaine hair
He's bad news, boy, Lord, he ain't nowhere, hey
He got little bitty feet that hurt when we walk
Shiny pointy teeth that show when he talk
Pick up your belongings boy and scatter em out
Got an on-schedule train coming two miles out
Well, I'm waiting for the driver
(To) get on the bus
Waiting for the driver but he ain't gonna fuss
He's got Manson eyes, he's got cocaine hair
He's bad news, boy, Lord, he ain't nowhere, hey
He got little bitty feet that hurt when we walk
Shiny pointy teeth that show when he talk
Pick up your belongings boy and scatter em out
Got an on-schedule train coming two miles out
Waiting for the driver

Swollen like disease, you're rotting out from inside. Thin colors and blurred lines frame a picture perfect life. Grip and grin. An appetite that never satisfies. Your empty stare. An infected mind sucks the rind, faints the trough and wipes a mouth clean. New face and calling a heart that won't shine again
Three long months have gone by
Since the tragedy took her life.
It's been so long since we last talked.
Woe is me
I feel so lonely
Woe is me
Take the wheel and drive all you want
Off a cliff or in a river
I don't mind as long as I'm with you.
It's time to live a little more
Memories of your melody
I am driftwood and you are the sea
I am lost in you now get lost in me
Woe is me
I feel so lonely
Woe is me
We are caught between hope and despair
Lay me down the long white line
Leave the sirens far behind me
Home to weakness
Home to silence
Follow me when the sun goes down
We will find a heartless highway
We will wind the windows down
... me at the mounted towers
Then the marvels, ... friends abound ...
While the wheels go wheeling round and round
Life is short and life is cruel
But we have beer and we have fuel
We are never coming down
Push the creature on it's back
Lines across the middle ...
Houses vacant everafter
Gusting through the cold and shadow
While the ... flashes past
Around we ... the big black car
... touch the sky
... sell your bracelets
We are never coming down
We will be forever wild
The wheels go wheelings round and round
And the wheel ...s come in silence
Follow me when the sun goes down
We will fly along the highway
We will wind the windows down
... me at the mounted towers
When the ... turns around
Reason ... power
Look into the mirror
Tell me who you see
Look into my eyes
And tell me what you need
‘Cause you’re the driver,
and you’re driving us straight into the ground
yeah you’re the driver, you’ve got to bring this back around
Stare a little harder
At who you need to be
Don’t give me no excuses,
I give you everything you need
In the reflection, I’m not the one who’s driving now
Yeah you’re the driver, and you’re driving us straight into the ground
yeah you’re the driver, you’ve got to bring this back around
a victim to your conscience, your instincts
Spinning in and out in a constant struggle for the control
Look into the glass
And tell me what you see
Who are you to talk about
Which side is real?
In the reflection, I am the one who’s driving now
Now I’m the driver, I’m bringing this back around
