WEN is the best!

I used WEN for about a year...when I ran out I tried to find alternates.I tried a sulfate free shampoo/conditioner (I should have known better since it was 2 bottles, needless to say it was not good at all). I bought RenPure from Walgreens a month or so ago and have been trying that. It is MUCH thinner than WEN (with WEN I can cut it in half with water to make one little 16oz bottle last 3+ moths with my long long hair, if I do that, they are about the same pricewise). And while RenPure keeps away dandruff better than normal shampoo/conditioner, it's not as great as WEN. So I got another bottle of WEN from Amazon.com. Washed my hair last night and OhEmGee!!!! I could tell the difference WHILE I was washing it! Also, I've been needing to trim dead ends off for the past 6 months, and even those look much better! :) So, there ya go, both tested for quite a bit and I have to say I like WEN better! :) And that's my long-winded opinion folks

Order from Amazon if you want to try, but I wouldn't suggest it.

The product itself leaves a residue in hair and on my hands (possibly due to the very hard water in my area) and does not get it clean. My hair is fine and straight, and I only really wash it once a week. Toward the end of my non-wash time it gets chunky and greasy, and until now I used shampoo. This product makes it tangle more readily, and doesn't get rid of the piecey "haven't washed my hair this week" look. Using it exactly as directed makes my scalp hurt from the menthol. It's unbearably minty, like I poured peppermint oil on my head. I truly had a better experience with Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. I plan to try another cleansing conditioner next, but I have returned my product for a refund.

I didn't order from amazon, but from this website: https://www.wen.com/on/demandware.store/Sites-WenHairCare-Site/default/COCart-AddProduct. I would suggest ordering it from Amazon if you insist on trying it. The Wen site will sign you up for a tri-monthly reorder program (at $130 a pop) without telling you (or at least not making it abundantly clear). They have shady business practices, and their outsourced customer service representatives are reading word-for-word from a script and it is painfully obvious. Personally, I wouldn't give any more money to this company, even through a third party distributor.

I really like it. It's gently enough for everyday use, even though it's not always necessary. I do not, however, apply a small amount back onto my hair after shampooing as the label directs. That step seems to weigh my hair down. I still like the product and the scent and pleasant.

This was NOT the product I ordered. I specifically checked the image that was shown of the back of the bottle to check the ingredients. The bottle that I received did not have the same ingredients--it was the inferior Guthy Renker product version. That was exactly what I did not want. I feel I was hoodwinked.

I highly recommend this product

I highly recommend this product. It makes my hair so soft and manageable. If you have problems with it making your hair greasy, find the YouTube video showing exactly how to use the product and follow it exactly. Once I did that I had no issues. Also I found the Pomegrante made my hair less oily than the Sweet Almond Mint. So I use the Pomegrante on my roots and the Sweet Almond on the ends.

You have to give your hair a good month and a half to get used to the new shampoo. Your natural hair oils have to adjust. Now i only have to wash my hair twice a week with this product. So one bottle easily lasts a month and I have very long hair - well past my mid back.

I love WEN. However, this is not authentic WEN. It's a knock off. Very disappointed. If you want to be assured your getting the original product purchase directly from the Chaz Dean website or QVC.
