Nice Mp3 player

This Mp4 player is truly a steal for this price. It works, and there's no issue with sound quality or navigating once you learn how it works. The directions weren't very clear, nor did it state how to transfer music to it. I did figure it out, NO this will NOT sync with Itunes, What you have to do is drag and copy into the file folder that comes up when you connect it to your computer. It does come with the connection cord, and charges super fast. The headphones are pretty cheap though. So, I choose not to use them. The navigation I have issues with, as you press the menu button to okay anything, but it took me forever to figure out if you wanted to go from Songs to Radio, you have to hold down the menu button to get it to go back to the menu. Otherwise, it doesn't do anything. Pressing the center button twice, will allow you to turn down the volume. That's a little annoying, but makes for less buttons, so its understandable. You can skip songs, repeat a song, or entire playlist. You can't create playlists, or if you can I haven't figured it out. It is VERY lightweight. Almost like a childs toy, the screen seems flimsy though, like if you push down on it, it moves inwards. I didn't like that. Additionally, you can't save the radio stations. So you have to scroll back to it every time, you turn it to the radio. The colors on the screen are vivid. Overall, this is a good item for it's price, it's not going to replace my IPOD, but it works very well, and I do love how it doesn't skip, or become fuzzy when running, its light weight and pocket sized that I don't even need the arm band. I can tuck it into my running belt.

The blue is really pretty, and bright!

Very unhappy customer.

I was taught that if you have nothing nice to say about someone, don't say it. Now that that is out of the way, I have to say that in spite of all the positive comments I'd read this silly thing simply does not work properly. I first started with trying to download some of my music into the device (it correctly showed up as a USB storage device). After downloading maybe ten songs, it "disconnected" and I got the usual warning from OS X that you mustn't remove a device without first having Ejected it.

Reboot Mac (running the latest OS X, Yosemite). Now it won't even connect. Try with Windows. Same kind of deal: found it, then it disappeared from Explorer before I could even get any files downloaded. No longer connects.

One star indicates that I'm annoyed with this thing wasting my time, does not work as described, is VERY poorly documented, and the packaging was "tricky" to open.

UPDATE: Did I mention that it does not work as documented? OK, I'll be specific. The user guide (sheet) shows buttons being in one place, but the device's actual *function* is activated from a different location. For example, the MENU button is where the documentation shows the Play/Pause button should be. There is NO Volume button; the document shows there to be a "VOL" button, however that location on the controls actually is a "Play/Pause" button. The center of the dial is labeled "MENU" but has no functionality that I could determine; not when trying to call up a Menu, not when trying to Select an option, just nothing, nada.

My advice: look elsewhere for your MP3/MP4 player!

Cheap piece of junk - returning.

Initially worked - sort of. Loaded up 300 songs or so, would only play about 1/2 of them. Decided to delete those songs and start over. Now, there were two entries for every song that had been re-copied. Figured I would have to format the device and start all the way over. Did that, now Windows can't read it - tries to connect but then the device resets and starts the connection all over again in an endless loop. Device is now totally useless - returning.

Besides all the above nonsense, the function keys are not intuitive - the menu button at the top of the circle actually is the enter key in all functions instead of the center button. How does that make sense to anyone?

Where to begin with this Chinese style budget MP3/4 player? How about the good?

THE GOOD: It does have a decent build quality with decent sound quality. It's easy to add music/pics/vids via Windows Explorer if you're a WINDOWS user. The player is compact, light-weight and comes with 16GB storage which is pretty good for such a small device to be able to add thousands of songs. When the player works it sounds decent and is just very simple and basic. This is NOT an Apple iPod people, don't expect it to be for this price and DO NOT expect it to be as intuitive as an iPod, don't fool yourself. This is a great gift or product for kids or adults that tend to lose things and have trouble taking care of nice things.

THE BAD: Battery life is very poor, usually allowing 2-4 hours (MAX) of usage, but keep in mind, this thing is NO iPod and is also very compact and extremely budget friendly. The UI isn't very user friendly and not very intuitive and can definitely become frustrating to some. The physical controls are awkward and clunky to use and can also become frustrating. The provided documentation isn't very well written.
