Since this package contains so much I'll break it up into multiple sections for each thing. Note before reading my review that I'm a complete amateur at photography.

Camera: The camera works great. The auto-mode does the trick if you don't feel like fiddling with the settings, but it offers great control over the scene by adjusting the ISO, aperture and shutter speed. It's light weight, the battery charges fast and lasts long enough for me. It can be a bit clunky to navigate but once you get the hang of it, it's not a huge issue.

Cannon Lenses: They both worked great. The telephoto lens does not have image stabilization which is disappointing considering you will be using it to take shots from a ways away. The smaller lens works great and I have no complaints with it.

3rd Party Lenses: These are built solid (Feels like solid aluminum body) and really let you increase the types of shots you can take with the 2 included lenses.

Tri-Pod: This is just sad, and the reason I took off 1-star. I would really suggest getting a different tri-pod since this one is about as flimsy as they get.

Vivitar Flash: Feels cheaply built, but it's nice for when you want to take a shot at night in the open. Do not use it indoors, as it will totally over-expose your shots.

SD Cards: Smaller than I would want for an 18MP camera that is used quite a bit. This is easily remedied by getting a larger one. Personally, I went with a 64 GB.

Carrying Bag: Way too small for all the stuff included in this package, but again that's easily remedied by getting an after-market bag. It carries enough to get you by.

The rest of the stuff I know nothing much about or it wasn't note-worthy enough to put in the review.

Overall I would recommend this product to anyone looking to get a start in photography. It's a really nice package at a great price that gives you everything you need to get started.

THIS IS THE COOLEST CAMERA EVER!! Simply because 1. It has such high quality. 2. This camera is indeed very qualified for beginners to professional photography skills. 3. The box came with more than I expected! 4. You may need to upgrade to a bigger bag/ backpack because everything that came with the camera will not fit in the bag... still okay! Why? Because you won't find a deal this cheap in your lifetime! I love this camera to pieces, I still can't put it down after a week now! You will not regret your purchase and you will LOVE the camera itself!

I love my Canon Rebel T5! I am an enthusiast learning and advancing through digital photography. This bundle package was a good choice for me. I have been taking digital photography for over 8 years, but I was using Canon Power Shots and decided this year to make the right choice into DSLR cameras. At first, the amount of functions and buttons scared me a bit, but with a lot of study and practice, my understanding has increased leaps and bounds.

Enough about me, about the Rebel T5 bundle package.

1) The camera is great. If you are new to DSLRs, you should get this package. I understand that there are other higher end models such as the 7D Mark II, 6D, and 5D Mark III, but unless you are a professional photographer, it can be difficult to justify the extra cost just to have the most expensive camera. First learning how to control shutter speed, aperture, ISO, evaluative metering, lighting, file size types for prints, and white balance all goes a long way towards one's education on digital photography. The 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses were good addition to the package. Keep in mind, that although these lenses will more than likely blow out the quality of your cell phone and tablet cameras, these lenses are basic models and still fail in comparison to the "Red Ring" lenses.

2) The two SD Cards were good, but never used them because I bought a 64GB. My preference

3) The Vivitar Flash was subpar, so I bought the 270EX II

4) The Remote Control is good add on, just not wireless

5) The bag was okay, but too small because of other camera equipment that I now have.

This camera bundle is amazing! It has every thing you need to start out for one low price! The tripod isn't exactly the highest quality, but it holds the camera securely, and it works, just dont use it when its extremely windy and you'll be fine. :) also, I don't know why everyone is saying the bag is too small to hold everything, because I got it to fit everything it came with, minus the tri-pod (obviously) If you buy this, you won't be sorry.

First of all, I'm very pleased with the camera. I got what I wanted, at a good price. I've handled a Rebel before, so no surprises. It's a great first-level DSLR. What I ought to have known better about were the lenses. The two Canon lenses, the 18-55 and 155-300, are good. The two extra lenses are useless, available elsewhere on Amazon for about $10 each, and generally not worth a space in the camera bag (which I haven't even touched the one that came in this kit, I have a much nicer one). As for the other accessories, the slave flash doesn't work. The little tripod won't hold the camera, it's too heavy even with only the basic lens on. The big tripod is fine. But most disconcerting was the little case which holds the three filters. It's moldy. I'm including a shot of one of the mold colonies, taken with the new camera, isn't that a nice macro? You can clearly see the mycelium and hyphae. I just wish it wasn't on something that was supposed to be brand new. Overall, I'd buy the camera and Canon lenses again. The rest of this kit, you may as well plan on trashing.
