Sunday, March 28 2010 Passover and Easter procession in Bethlehem Sunday 28.3.2010 During the afternoon some 300 Palestinians, Israelis and international activists held a procession on the eve of Easter and Passover during which they marched from Bethlehem to Jerusalem through the Rachel’s Tomb crossing in the separation wall. Tuesday, December 24 2002 Joint Palestinian-Israeli Peace Demonstration at the Church of the Nativity Square, Bethlehem Christmas Eve, December 24th 2002 Jerusalem: At around 9:00 am, the first fifty Israelis passed the military checkpoint and climbed over the dirt barricade. They were entering Bethlehem, which is considered “Area A” of the Palestinian territories and therefore out of bounds for Israeli citizens. Determined to meet their Palestinian partners, these Israelis, members of Ta’ayush, Arab-Jewish Partnership, had decided to defy the law.
