Virginia (i/vərˈdʒɪnjə/), officially the Commonwealth of Virginia, is a U.S. state located in the South Atlantic region of the United States. Virginia is nicknamed the "Old Dominion" and sometimes the "Mother of Presidents" after the eight U.S. presidents born there. The geography and climate of the Commonwealth are shaped by the Blue Ridge Mountains and the Chesapeake Bay, which provide habitat for much of its flora and fauna. The capital of the Commonwealth is Richmond; Virginia Beach is the most populous city and Fairfax County the most populous political subdivision. The Commonwealth's population is over eight million.
The area's history begins with several indigenous groups, including the Powhatan. In 1607 the London Company established the Colony of Virginia as the first permanent New World English colony. Slave labor and the land acquired from displaced Native American tribes each played a significant role in the colony's early politics and plantation economy. Virginia was one of the 13 Colonies in the American Revolution and joined the Confederacy in the American Civil War, during which Richmond was made the Confederate capital and Virginia's northwestern counties separated to form the state of West Virginia. Although the Commonwealth was under conservative single-party rule for nearly a century following Reconstruction, both major national parties are competitive in modern Virginia.

Virginia
Matt Caplan
She said she was a visionary
We all knew she was quite full of herself
And we cast our shadows on the floor
We expected her decision hours ago
And now she's left alone to ask herself
What Virginia has to offer her
Well, we've got faded lives and color television
And he said he was a father figure
We all knew that he was quite the opposite of strength
And we cast our shadows on the floor
We expected him to be hours ago
And now he's left alone to ask himself
What Virginia has to offer him
Well, we've got faded lives and color television
We are unclean and far from sober
All my life I've followed holy visions
Virginia makes me nervous
Oh, and now I'm thinking about rain again
And I'm trying to remember when
We were young enough
To fight the fever back with love
But now how am I gonna fight it back
When they're bringing me under
So grey on the city that'll lead the play
And their consequences
Bring the fever back again
How am I gonna bring it back
When it (rams) me asunder
Bring the past up to par
He says leave me there to follow
Set me up, set me straight
Virginia far too stale to swallow
Well, we've got faded lives and color television
We are unclean and far from sober
All my life I've followed holy visions
Virginia makes me nervous
I can hear your voice in the whispering pines from the
Blue Ridge to the sea
Your such a tainted lover but I can’t take another, it
just won’t do for me
Out on your fields and battlegrounds full of blue,
black and grey
In the full moon light feel the spirits in the night
you can almost here them say
Come on sweet Virginia
I hear you calling me
Come on Virginia
Set my soul free
Come on sweet Virginia
I hear you calling me
Come on Virginia
Set my soul free
It’s a new day, new dawn, this world keeps spinnin
round
She’s like a lover with a secret past that just keeps
hangin round
And the lightning fires, the thunder rolls, down the
James in the summertime
You can bring your children down to the water, cuz
Virginia's just doing fine
Come on sweet Virginia
I hear you calling me
Come on Virginia
Set my soul
Set my soul
Set my soul free
Oh Virginia
Cuando sale de su casa
Alguien se le acerca
" Vamos niña, sube al coche
Ó eres niña muerta "
Echan una tela negra
Sobre su cabeza
Y Virginia tiembla.
Se la llevan al desierto
Donde nadie llega
Y la encierran a la fuerza
En una bodega
La amenazan " Tú no grites
Y no habrá problemas "
Y Virginia quieta.
" Por favor, ¿no la habeis visto?
Se ha perdido la muñeca
Desde que salió al colegio
No sabemos nada de ella ".
¡Virginia! Amor, contesta, ¿Dónde estás?
¡Virginia! Amor, contesta, ¿Dónde estás?
Han pasado doce horas
Nadie sabe de ella
De repente una llamada
Una voz muy seca:
" Oiga bien y no interrumpa:
Tengo a su pequeña ".
Y Virginia sueña.
" Pongan 16 millones
En una maleta
Tiene 24 horas
Haga lo que sea
No hable con la policia
Si la quiere entera "
Y Virginia espera.
No la ponga usted en peligro
Es una niña muy bella
Le aseguro que no es broma
¯Quiere usted hablar con ella? ".
¡Virginia! Amor, contesta, ¿Dónde estás?
¡Virginia! Amor, contesta, ¿Dónde estás?
Han pasado tres semanas
De angustia y alerta
" Hemos entregado todo
Aver, ¿qué esperan? "
El teléfono no suena
Tampoco la puerta
Y Virginia, muerta.
Se la busca por los montes
Se la busca por las selvas
Se pregunta por los ranchos
Y por las gasolineras.
¡Virginia! Amor, contesta, ¿Dónde estás?
Oh sweet Virginia, yeah she is a witch.
I worship and adore her, dream of her lips.
She's clutching a sacred heart;
I can hear her calling me from afar.
Oh but what can i see here?
The flames are getting higher; it's some kind of a
devil
And he's smoking a briar...
She's got me like a ball and chain
Virginia, she's in my brain
So many times, you know, i tried to kiss her;
And every time it felt like she could have been my
sister.
She climbs on a witch's broom
Then she's sayin, "point me at the moon".
Don't say i missed it, i can't resist it,
Don't say she's not the one
God made her my mistress
She's got me like a ball and chain
Virginia she's in my brain
Everybody wants to know that girl,
After midnight in Virginia's world
The man on the moon, the man on the moon,
He loves his children
The man on the moon, the man on the moon,
He calls to Virginia
The man on the moon, the man on the moon,
Loves Virginia...ah
Virginia is a witch! Virginia is a witch!
Earthquakes and Hurricanes
And slow movin' freight trains
Girl that's how,
You make me feel sometimes
But you were gone away from here
So far my dear
Up by that northern state line
(Chorus)
Virginia
Lie in all my broken dreams
You pick me up
And you sure make me smile
Virginia
And I would give anything
To come dance around
My memory for awhile
Solo
Off in the moonlight,
Sweet southern moonlight
A billion stars,
Bare feet in the sand
I'm countin' down the summer days
Smiling at our reckless ways
You was my girl
And I was your man
Chorus
Solo
That's the way the story goes
Of broken hearts and sad souls
You left me here,
Not saying goodbye
Said you headed with your paw
North Arkansas
But that was back before, 1975
VERSE I
virginia, i’ve seen her driving with the top pulled down
yeah she’s just as stylish but her hair’s a little longer now
do you think i’m crazy holding on to maybe
put your mind at ease
the old days are behind us virginia’s over me
CHORUS
baby my baby’s gone away today
my baby’s gone miles away
baby my baby’s gone away today
my baby’s gone miles away
VERSE II
virginia, don’t tempt me
there’s nothing that you’re gonna say
you’ve got so many lines, so many heartaches
and i would be a fool to stay
you want what you can’t get
oh, i never doubt it
put your loving away
save those charms and your open arms
‘cause i don’t want to play
BRIDGE
she came back, my baby
came walking through my front door
and she told me with the smallest tear
that she didn’t love me no more
so later on i found me another
a flight attendant on a plane
got no money in the pockets and a baby on the way
in the lush virginia hills
they kept her as long as they could
cause they knew when the white brother
found white shell beads
wrapped around her skin --
a life giving river --
her body open as will his hand
and with a "goodbye" there she goes
she may betray all that she loves
and even wait for their savior to come
and in some things, maybe he'll be right
but as always the thing that he loves
he will change from her sunrise to clockwise to soul trading
still she'll lay down her body
covering him all the same
so hundreds of years go by
(the red road carved up by sharp knife)
she's a girl out working her trade
and she loses a little each day
to ghetto pimps and presidents
who try and arouse her turquoise serpents
she can't recall what they represent
and when you ask, she won't know
she will betray
oh virginia
do you remember
when the land held your hand
oh virginia
she will let you back in
oh virginia
The waves rush against the folds of my face
As I start to drown
The waves rush against the folds of my face
As I start to drown
Oh, Virginia
Virgina, Virginia
In winter the water
will wash [?] the waterside
In winter the water
will wash [?] the waterside
Oh, Virginia
Virgina, Virginia
With the rocks in your pockets
You walk up above the waterside
With the rocks in your pockets
You walk up above the waterside
Oh, Virginia
Virgina, Virginia
The waves rush against the full of my face
As I start to fall
The waves rush against the full of my face
As I start to fall
Oh, Virginia
Virgina, Virginia
One thing I'll say
I will always love you, Virginia
You're a part of my life and you make everything so
worthwhile.
The thing about it
When I need a friend she's always there
And she lifts up my day
One thing I'll say
I'll always love you, Virginia
We're going down the boulevard and burning down the
avenue
Yes, going down the boulevard , we're burning down the
avenue
Virginia, always on my mind
Virginia, stay a friend of mine
The thing about it, when I'm sad, she brings me a note or
So I say this to you
The one thing I know, I will always love you, Virginia
She takes me up to a place that's so far away
Virginia, always on my mind
Virginia, stay a friend of mine
Thing about it, when I need a friend she's always there
And I say this to you
One thing I know, I will always love you, Virginia
She takes me up to a place that's so far away.
I grew up in the kind of place you have to pass
When traveling somewhere else
My mother laughed more than she cried
But when she cried
Well it was something everyone felt.
Virginia
I've been baffled by the echoes
I've been deafened by the sounds of that place
Where they said we should dream of heaven
And keep our feet right on the ground
I don't know if this is where we're meant to be
But hey Virginia
Won't you spend your days with me
I dreamt of skies
A quiet blue that laid to rest the pain of darker days
And my dreams collide with subway cars
But in my heart I knew that I was frightened for a change
Morning paints the bedroom in a faded grey
My hands remember yours
I drank because I could not sleep
Now I can't sleep 'cause I don't drink no more
I don't know if this is where we're meant to be
But hey Virginia
Won't you spend your days with me
New York ain't so pretty
New York ain't so strange
Soon we'll both forget our alibis
Then maybe we could find a way to change
I don't know if this is where we're meant to be
I don't know if this is where we're meant to be
I don't know if this is where we're meant to be
But hey Virginia
Won't you spend your days with me
Virginia I had a dream that you invited us over
You still lived on the street where you laid down for good
We all sat on the floor as my kids swam around us
You smoked cigarettes like I knew you would
We were worried about your personal salvation
Was it heaven or hell that you saw when your eyes closed?
You smiled at us, floating high above the question
Like you knew something we didn't know
Virginia I had a dream we were closer than brothers
Singing, pictures of you, crashing cars, skipping school
We drove all over town as the days blurred around us
We wore out your cassettes, we were nobody's fool
They were worried about our high school graduation
They read us a poem, "Oh the Places You'll Go"
You smiled it off, floating high above the question
Well Virginia came down the stairs
Said "I have something to say, I love you anyway"
I opened my eyes and blew a kiss from the old couch
We found on the side of the road
This apartment has dirty steps
And a few broken windows
But it's the only place I could ever call home
I used to know your first name
But forgot it twice on purpose
When you said you had to go
It's not like the summer lasts all year
July left me here without you
The sun is gone, the stars all fell
I can't get to sleep tonight
And if you were here
It would all be alright
I told you not to laugh
When I said you looked beautiful
But you did it anyway
Our old friends all left this town
But we liked the sound of it
So we just stayed
Let's dance let's dance around the yard
I met Virginia two summers ago
Up in them mountains teaching school
All alone in a one room shack
Teaching the children all she knew
We spent a lot of hours together
And one day she said she'd love me for all time
And I'm in love with my Virginia
And I hope she don't change her mind
We took a trip to Montana
Guess we were looking for gold
Never saw a trace of it
But it was everywhere we were told
Worked in a mine for thirteen hours every day
I took one look at my Virginia
And knew she wasn't meant to live that way
The going was rough
But she treated me so kind
I'm in love with Miss Virginia
And I hope she don't change her mind
Change her mind
Now we're back in Carolina
Up in them Smokies where we belong
Never knew why we went away
Can't understand why we were gone
Been with her twenty years
And all those years she made me feel so fine
And she still tells me that she loves me
And I hope she don't change her mind
Vá embora e feche a porta,
Tenho frio
Vá embora antes que eu chore,
Tenho frio
Vou trancar-me para nunca mais abrir
Pro sabor dos nossos sonhos não fugir (2x)
Eu me lembro de janeiro
Quando o sol me deu você
Meu presente de ano novo
Que agora o frio levou
Mas por favor, senhor sol,
Me dê de volta Virgínia
Senhor sol,
Me dê de volta Virgínia
i know you so well
i could make you from scratch
my precious little puppet
with no strings attached
i like the way you dance around
and sing back to me
i'll take you back to virginia
for all my people to see
i just want to play what you want me to
i just want to say what you want me to
oh, take me. take me back
take me back to virginia,
take me back i want to go back for good
open a window put the dog at the foot of my bed
sleep to the music of the ice cream man
and rest my head
if i wake up on the right side
i'll sit at my window and play
a song for my people from yesterday
chorus
it's been seven years since i've seen you shine
and i see you when i'm sleeping
and i know i'm not lost as long as my lines are true
i just want to get back to you
i can still tell what it really means to be
dancing to the music
as she sings out to me
smiling and laughing as the people dance my soul
take me back to virginia
from so long ago
it's all building up, bottleneck backbreak, backstabbing
stepping stone. the world is burning, and i am your
carpet.
behead the white horse, god is screaming murder, trees
are growing downwards, my lungs are poisoned, i didn't
hurt her.., rock "n" roll is hiding,(backbeat lying)
[Pharrell]
You ready to do this, nigga
You ready to come down here
It's Virginia, nigga...
We do this in broad daylight...
It's a whole different degree of homicide, nigga...
You ready
[Chorus: Pusha T & (Pharrell)]
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what)
Pack it up, sell it triple-price, fuck the books (Talk about, what)
Where we re-up, re-locate, re-off them brooks (Talk about, what)
So when we pull up, it ain't shit to do but look (Talk about, what)
[Pusha T]
In my "Home Sweet Home" I keep chrome next to my bones
Alters my walk to limpin'
Since I love the feel, I guess I'm passionately pimpin'
It 'tis what it seems
That thing imprintin' through the seams of my jeans, by all means
Lost it all, from lives to love
Put my faith in my money, help me rise above
See I turned to the Lord when them times got tough
Bullied through streets, powder I pushed and shoved
In that ole' Virginey
Out of ten niggas, nine are guinea
No money, all they know is gimme, got semis waitin'
Heat like Caribbean summers, I been there
Each year, a diffferent bitch wonder
Who wing she gon' fall under, Push' or Mal'
Ganga grinds, wit' me, with thoughts of fuckin' them cross her mind
Look ma, that's right up my alley
I love my family, I want them all happy
In Virginia, we smirked at that Simpson trial
Yeah, I guess the chase was wild
But what's the fuss about
See, plenty my partners feelin' like O.J.
Beat murder like the shit is OK, that's what our door say
Talk the evil that men do, I'm lost in the mental
I miss you Shampoo, we miss you Shampoo
And your grams, too...
[Pharrell]
My nigga...
Fo sho...
[Chorus 2X's: Pusha T & (Pharrell)]
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what)
Pack it up, sell it triple-price, fuck the books (Talk about, what)
Where we re-up, re-locate, re-off them brooks (Talk about, what)
So when we pull up, it ain't shit to do but look (Talk about, what)
[Malice]
Seem like they all got a comment to make
In regards to my paper, now they guessin' my weight
They fast to predict the outcome of my fate
Wonderin' 'bout Clipse and if they got what it take
Malice, he think he hard, tough guy of the clique
And Pusha, he walk around like he swear he the shit
You right on both counts, bitch, Clipse is us
And there are some things that you don't discuss
Don't ask me 'bout the Neptunes and what's they fair
Don't ask about the loud screamin' chick with the hair
Don't ask about my music, and how that's comin' 'bout
Don't ask about my album, or when's it comin' out
'Cause I feel like you really being funny on the slide
Now face down, layin' on your tummy, or you die
I tried being humble, humble get no respect
Now the first sign of trouble, that's a hole up in your neck
Plus, what I look like spendin' my nights in jail
I could never be a thug, they don't dress this well
I reside in VA, ride in VA
Most likely when I die, I'm gon' die in VA
Virginia's for lovers, but trust there's hate here
For out-of-towners, who think that they gon' move weight here
Ironic, the same same place I'm makin' figures at
That there's the same land they used to hang niggas at, in Virginia...
[Chorus 2X's: Pusha T & (Pharrell)]
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what)
Pack it up, sell it triple-price, fuck the books (Talk about, what)
Where we re-up, re-locate, re-off them brooks (Talk about, what)
So when we pull up, it ain't shit to do but look (Talk about, what)
[Pharrell]
Young'n... (Talk about, what)
This is real, young'n... (Talk about, what)
You lookin' into a whole different world, young'n (Talk about, what)
This is real...
Live...
Slowly creeping up on you
Ever since I left New York
I haven't been in the mood
But you're so cool
And so sweet
But this town makes me sick
All the limitations are manic depressing
I can't sleep
Can't eat
Virginia kids bring me coke
They keep me awake so that I can play the show
But nobody goes
It's the same thing
Oh no baby it's the right time
To be stuck in a motel with a neck tie
Looking for someone but now its so clear
Nobody really loves anybody around here
Now we can hold off for a cab fare
Or we can get into the Cadillac and get there
Look it their coming so let me hold you
I want to hold you
Your cold
And shivery
We're so close to being good friends
But when the head strong women come I get rough
Tumbling sidways and into back seats
Come on lets shake the heart break lately
I really left you in a bad place
Im so sorry that I hurt you in any way
I will make it up when we get older
Now I am older and we can't talk yet
Oh no it's so cold out
I want to hold you in my arms now
I want to taste you on my bed post
I want to see you in my headlights
I was wrong
I was sad
Take it back
Cut out news prints now
Put them on
The counter top
Kaipaamaan mä jäin Virginiaan
Ja pellot muistan viljavan maan
Siellä koin mä nuoruuden
Rakkauden niin lämpöisen
Paikan sai hän myös mun sydämeen
Ja yhtä matkaa luoksensa tein
Kun unta nään niin enemmän
Niissä myös mä luokseen en jää
Ennustaa ei voi kai elämää
Jos meille käy niin ettemme nää
Muistavan sun tahtoisin
Että sua mä rakastin
Ennemmin jos sua nään tieni pään
Niin kummullein käy tervehtimään
Tuuli kun käy kyläillen
Silloin teen mä sulle sen
Jäät vierellein kun kuu kumottaa
Yön tuoksut kantaa kasteinen maa
Kukkasen näät valkoisen
Kukka on se rakkauden
Kasvaa voi se vain jos rakastaa
Se kaiken voiman tunteista saa
Sulle vain sen rakkautein
Kukkaan sai sen sydämein
Sulle vain sen rakkautein
For the plans you made long ago
Hear the engines roar as we walked throught the doors
I just can't believe this dream is over
Virginia look up in the sky, don't it bring you sorrow
We know when ever you gonna fly, I will be there tomorrow
Virginia, Virginia don't go
Virginia, Virginia don't go
It's easy to release me when you're three thousand miles
away
You no longer care, when I'm no longer there
And all the love we have will fade away, fade away
Virginia please hold on to me, don't leave it all behind
Is there something I can say, that will change your mind
Virginia, Virginia don't go
Virginia, Virginia don't go
So look around you now at this faceless crowd
You can walk right out and forget it
Virginia we got too much love to bring it to an end
And I know if I let you go, I'll never see you again
Virginia, Virginia don't go
Virginia, Virginia don't go
Virginia, Virginia don't go
Virginia, Virginia don't go
A young man with a simple plan,
heading east of L.A.
First time, pass the border line,
going to that old state.
Miles and miles apart by thousands,
so many street signs.
No matter how much further i travels,
you got to keep in mind,
How sweet it is, to know that i'll be comming home to you,
home to you.
They say that this state makes the heart grow,
Fond of one another,
We're two lovers separate, but lost without each other.
But lately the storms couldn't keep me away from you,
I might not be gone for long, but i still be missing you
(As I said ohh)
How Sweet it is, to know that I'll be coming home to you
Just when I cross that state line,
I know exactly where my heart lies,
Virginia, i've comin home to you.
It seems that just I'm coming home to you
Virginia in my heart,
It keeps my soul unite.
How could I spend a nighttime without you (ohh)
I can't be you [?] whenever I go
And I know that in my soul,
I can always come back on and on to you
Home to you
I'm a california man now, living back in L.A.
and even though, i'm in out of town now,
i wanna say the [?]
laughs and laughs, were touched by the thousand,
in so many piece and signs.
I realise that were it all started, you were always by my side.
I know,
how sweet it is
To coming on home to you yeah
Just when I cross that stateline
I know exactly where my heart lies
Virginia I'm coming back home to you
Virginia I'm coming on home to you
Oh i once knew a girl from Virginia
She had eyes like the first day of May
And she talked like she never remembered what to say
hey, what to say
In the morning she left me her number
and she fled like a bird in the rain
so I sat on the carpet and wondered what to say
hey, what to say
We crept in the moonlight, she slept by the door
ooo Virginia no more, no more
and awkward I stumbled I've been there before
ooo Virginia no more, no more
So I changed down the taste and i made my escape
out the door onto our separate ways
and I'll see you around if i do figure out
what to say - hey, what to say
We crept in the moonlight, she slept by the door
ooo Virginia no more, no more
and awkward I stumbled I've been there before
It's like trying to light a cigarette
When the matches you got are soaking wet
Tallest buildings they got are bound to fall
When it's coming down like a wrecking ball
Slow down, Virginia
Don't make me wait
Slow down, Virginia
Don't make me wait
Virginia
It's everything that's cool rolled into one
Everything that's not is left alone
You can hear it ring from near and far
You can hear it scream like a fire alarm
Slow down, Virginia
Don't make me wait
Slow down, Virginia
Don't make me wait
Virginia
Sometimes it sounds like she's been crying
But when she lights, this whole dump is...
It's everything that's cool rolled into one
Everything that's not is left alone
You can hear it ring from near and far
You can hear it scream like a fire alarm
You said youd go just for a year,
and i watched the tail lights dissappear, your words like old foot prints upon my mind.
yeah your family all was gone,
but you couldnt imagine leaving long,
you said you only get your life for this one time.
but what do i recall when the world was all
but changing in the mirror while im standin like an old stop sign.
Yeah "courage" said the man,
when you see your whole life turnin out nothin like you'd ever seen or planned.
He said "There's always another day, and anyhow that's the only way,
It's better just to learn that while you can".
Well would she stay or would she go?
With a girl like that you never know.
What's goin on in her heart is hard to define,
But I'm inclined to say Virginia, guess you made up your mind.
WEll you taught me how to dance, and what it is to take a chance.
Theres learning and theres doing, its not the same.
Yeah I held when you cried on the morning that your daddy died,
if you're livin, you heard theres no one to blame,
in hell i do alright but theres times that i cant sleep at night,
and i think about things i didnt know stayed with me all this time,
but im inclined to say, Virginia, guess you made up your mind.
Yeah years go by and you dont come home at all or write
or call or tell me what you did or didnt find...
Yeah the young girl that i married, and the babies that she carried
are the stars my whole world just turns around
and i guess shes just like me, and she didnt care to much to see
what life was like outside our little town
Yeah mornings there are some, where i wonder if i've chosen anything that
I've ever done before in my whole life.
But thats all behind me now.
Virginia, guess you made up - I'm inclined to say, Virginia, guess you made up -
* [Pharrell]

In my "Home Sweet Home" I keep chrome next to my bones
Alters my walk to limpin'
Since I love the feel, I guess I'm passionately pimpin'
It 'tis what it seems
That thing imprintin' through the seams of my jeans, by all means
Lost it all, from lives to love
Put my faith in my money, help me rise above
See I turned to the Lord when them times got tough
Bullied through streets, powder I pushed and shoved
In that ole' Virginey
Out of ten niggas, nine are guinea
No money, all they know is gimme, got semis waitin'
Heat like Caribbean summers, I been there
Each year, a diffferent bitch wonder
Who wing she gon' fall under, Push' or Mal'
Ganga grinds, wit' me, with thoughts of fuckin' them cross her mind
Look ma, that's right up my alley
I love my family, I want them all happy
In Virginia, we smirked at that Simpson trial
Yeah, I guess the chase was wild
But what's the fuss about?
See, plenty my partners feelin' like O.J.
Beat murder like the shit is OK, that's what our door say
Talk the evil that men do, I'm lost in the mental
I miss you Shampoo, we miss you Shampoo
And your grams, too...
[Pharrell]
My nigga...
Fo sho...
[Chorus 2X's: Pusha T & (Pharrell)]
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what?)
Pack it up, sell it triple-price, fuck the books (Talk about, what?)
Where we re-up, re-locate, re-off them brooks (Talk about, what?)
So when we pull up, it ain't shit to do but look (Talk about, what?)
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what?)

[Pharrell]
Young'n... (Talk about, what?)
This is real, young'n... (Talk about, what?)
You lookin' into a whole different world, young'n (Talk about, what?)
This is real...
[Pharrell]
You ready to do this, nigga?
You ready to come down here?
It's Virginia, nigga...
We do this in broad daylight...
It's a whole different degree of homicide, nigga...
You ready?
[Chorus: Pusha T & (Pharrell)]
I'm from Virginia, where ain't shit to do but cook (Talk about, what?)
