Devon ( /ˈdɛvən/) is a large county in southwestern England. The county is sometimes referred to as Devonshire, although it has never been officially "shired" and that use often indicates a traditional or historical context. Nowadays, "Devonshire" is mostly a demonym.
The county shares borders with Cornwall to the west and Dorset and Somerset to the east. Its southern coast abuts the English Channel and its northern coast the Bristol Channel and Celtic Sea. The name "Devon" derives from the ancient Dumnonia, which was home to the independent kingdom of Brythonic Celtic speaking people who inhabited this area of the southwestern peninsula of Britain continuously from through the Roman era until partial absorption into the English-speaking Kingdom of Wessex some time in the eighth or ninth century, with some emigration to the sister Kingdom of Domnonee in Brittany taking place.
Devon is the fourth largest of the English counties by area and has a population of 1,141,600 making it the 11th most populous. The county town is the cathedral city of Exeter. In addition to Devon County Council, the county contains two unitary authorities (independent from Devon County Council's control): the port city of Plymouth and Torbay, a conurbation of seaside resorts. Plymouth is also the largest city in Devon. Much of the county is rural (including national park) land, with a low population density by British standards. It contains Dartmoor 954 km2 (368 sq mi), the largest open space in southern England. It is the only English county to have two separate coastlines – a north and southern coastline.

Wade Mann, is convinced that the independently wealthy lifestyle is the life for him. Joined by his drinking buddies, and financed by his mother, they open Global Future, an office for marketing environmentally friendly products. Ads in the local paper entice tree-huggers to an interview that quickly turns into a pyramid pitch. One such ad brings in Dave Dodge, a man who walks the fine line between genius and insane. Soon, Wade is inundated by Dave and his followers, a modern-day drum circle. The two worlds and collide as the business spirals down and the drums rise up. With its original musical sense and a visual style all of its own, Naked Nerve Endings will make you filthy rich, just sign on the dotted line. The project started when director Lance Lindahl encountered an African Drum Circle. He had thoughts of a script about pyramid scheme and random people coming in off of ads in the newspaper. Merging the concept with the drum circle gatherings, he began to develop the story of Wade Mann, a mid twenties man who leaps for the chance on a get rich quick scheme. They buy a desk, chairs, and office supplies, as well as the over priced environmental friendly products to get him his mother and his best friend Tony started in the business. After running ads, they draw in Dave Dodge, the stories antagonists. Davis is a nine-year member and seven year director of Stomp! He brings a great style of acting as well as original music from both him and the drummers. So Davis' character attends the so-called interview, and jokes at the opportunity of riches, but insists he and his followers shall perform drum circles in the back room of the office. Wade, under pressure gives in, and the back room of the office turns into a meeting of all the local area hippies involved in the drumming. You either sell soap or make it. The project was shot on 24p with one of the best cinematographers in the mini-dv generation. Erik Murphy has shot nine features with this being the summation of his intuitive camera work.

I am what I hate
Now I hate who I am
I torture animals
So I can have shiny, bouncy hair
Blinding rats and rabbits
So my mascara is safe to wear
I pay children seven cents an hour
To make my designer jeans
Nine years old, sixteen hours
Behind those sewing machines
And it doesn't seem to bother me
I am only concerned with my personal needs
And it doesn't occur to me
That everything I do
Affects something, someone, somewhere out there
In the world
I'm a selfish girl
I throw away more food in a day
Than most people eat in a week
I allow myself the luxury of starving
Because thin is in, and I have the choice
I stand by allowing crime to happen
Cause I don't want to strain my voice
I don't want to get involved
Because, hey, it's not my problem to solve
And it doesn't seem to bother me
I am only concerned with my personal needs
And it doesn't occur to me
That everything I do
Affects something, someone, somewhere out there
In the world
I'm a selfish girl
There are so many things wrong in the world
It's hard to not be part of the problem
But I have to be responsible
I have to bear the blame
Because everywhere I turn
I am causing someone else's pain
I don't want to cause anybody else's pain
And it definitely bothers me
That I've only been concerned with my personal needs
And it finally occurred to me
That everything I do
Affects something, someone, somewhere out there
In the world
I don't want to be a selfish girl
I just take, take, take, take, take, take
From this world
I don't want to be a selfish girl
Everybody envied me as I
Walked down the aisle
Picture perfect wedded bliss
A pair of matching smiles
I never knew what kind of man he was
It took me by surprise
The day he grabbed me by the hair
And glared at me with reaper's eyes
Now the night is bleeding
The law protects a man who beats his wife
The night is bleeding
The law ignores a woman pleading for her life
Your paper handcuffs couldn't stop him
They never even slowed him down
I had to worry he'd be standing there
Every time I turned around
You believed him when he said I deserved it
You believed him when he spun his lies
You even nodded when he said he was so sorry
Your callus ears ignored my cries
Now the night is bleeding
The law protects a man who beats his wife
The night is bleeding
The law ignores a woman pleading for her life
Treat the symptom, ignore the disease
There's no such thing as an idle threat
We all know, we all know
Where it leads
Where were you when he said he was coming
Where were you when I said I was scared
Where were you when he kicked down the door
And where were you when he threw me down the stairs
Where were you
Where were you
The night is bleeding
You say you're here to serve and protect
But you ignore and reject my cries for help
The night is bleeding
The humans are breeding for what they'll be bleeding

I won't follow
all your leaders
I won't follow all your leaders
and be one of the feeders
I won't follow
You're my methadone
My Nutra Sweet
My false sense of satisfaction
You're my Gucci bag
Bought on the street
My own cheap imitation
And I know that I'm just using you
For my own contentment
And I know that I'm just leading you on
What's wrong with that?
You're my silicone
My plexiglass
My close approximation
You're my iron lung
My Jarvik heart
It's no big revelation
And I know that I'm just using you
For my own contentment
And I know that I'm just leading you on
What's wrong with that?
And I know
That I should let you go
I shouldn't do to you
What's been done to me
But if I can't
Have what I want
At least I know
I can take what I need
And I know that I'm just using you
For my own contentment
And I know that I'm just leading you on
What's wrong with that?
And I know that I'm just using you
I'm just doing what you would do
If I ever gave you the chance to
Every morning I wake up next to you
But this is the first time
I've opened my eyes
And now I realize ...
There's only inches between us
But somehow you're miles away
I can't believe I'm missing you
When you're right in front of my face
It's gonna take a miracle
A miracle ....
A resurrection
A resurrection
Of our love
It's gonna take a miracle
to raise the dead
A resurrection
A resurrection
Of our love
Every morning you turn away from me
And I don't know why
You don't look in my face
Before you walk away
You used to make me laugh
I wish it could be like that again
But tell me, where do we begin
When we're already at the end?
It's gonna take a miracle
A miracle ....
A resurrection
A resurrection
Of our love
It's gonna take a miracle
to raise the dead
A resurrection
A resurrection
Of our love
I don't want to let it die
I don't want to let it get away
There's something worth saving
So I'm gonna pray
For a miracle
A miracle ...
A resurrection
Of our love
It's gonna take a miracle
to raise the dead
A resurrection
It's gonna take a miracle
A resurrection
Encaged in a memory,
Encaged in a prison of guilt,
Surrounded by reproach
And everybody knows
She flies over town in white shades,
But you're left behind
With a thousand troubled minds.
You cannot speak, you're blinded by your grief.
She flies over town in white shades
And guides every step,
But still you feel alone
'Cause angels don't come home.
As the sky is clearing
You clear your mind,
Hide all mirrors not to see
What the morphine couldn't hide:
Shattered faces on the floor,
Your broken mask serves you no more.
She flies over town in white shades,
But you're left behind
With a thousand troubled minds.
You cannot speak, you're blinded by your grief.
She flies over town in white shades
And guides every step,
But still you feel alone
'Cause angels don't come home.
She flies over town in white shades,
She flies over town in white shades.
She flies over town in white shades,
But still you feel alone
'Cause angels don't come home,
Sometimes I sit and reflect on
Things my daddy said
Things I should never forget
Never get out of my head
I'm a fuck
And I suck
I'm useless, worthless, I never shut up
I am weak
I shouldn't speak
Got nothing of value to say anyway
These are just things my daddy told me
These are just things my daddy said
That I'll never, never, never get out of my head
I'm a whore
And I'm sure
To end up with nothing in the end
I'm scattered
As if it mattered
That I can't keep my head on straight
That's just great
These are just things my daddy told me
These are just things my daddy said
That I'll never, never, never get out of my head
Now I try to escape
The voices that I hear
Telling me to do damage
I know I can make something of myself
If I can just manage
To get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a grip, get a grip
I'm a snake
I suffocate
Can't even make a dime
There's only one thing
I'm good for
Hey, are you looking for a good time?
These are just things my daddy told me
These are just things my daddy said
That I'll never, never, never get out of my head
I'm a waste
And just in case
I ever start to forget
You so graciously remind me
That I'm a great big mistake .....
I'm so perfect you say
I'm so special, no one can compare
How can you see all these things in me?
I can't believe you
I'm looking in my funhouse mirror
I'm disgusted by what I see
I strain to catch a glimpse of the light
You claim to see around me
And the more I try to run away
The more you pull me back
And the more you try to love me
The more that I attack
I just can't see what you see in me
You want to destroy self-portraits that I paint
Through Picasso's eyes
But it's hard to discard
Weapons that I use
In my daily self-destruction
And the more I try to run away
The more you pull me back
And the more you try to love me
The more that I attack
I just can't see what you see in me
I'm sitting on the corner of paranoid and hopelessness
Waiting, waiting
For you to take me away
I'm always trying to get rid of you
When what I really want
Is for you to stay
And the more I try to run away
The more you pull me back
And the more you try to love me
The more that I attack
I just can't see what you see in me
I want to see what you see
I wish I could see what you see
I'm not about moderation
You better get used to the ride
Up and down and sideways
Spinning, spinning all around ....
When I get a craving, it has to be met
I haven't met a man who can handle me yet
I'm the good girl who saves it all up
And then she likes to ....
I'm not about moderation (x3)
No ....
I'm about eating peanut butter out of the jar
And driving way over the speed limit in my car
Some may think I take it too far, but
I'm not about moderation (x3)
No ....
Some days are easier
Some days I can barely stand myself
Some days I'm in love with life
Or I don't remember how it felt to be happy
I'm about love or hate, no in between
I'm about starving or eating too much
I'm the type who like to rush
There's no such thing as a small crush
They're full blown, 'cause
I'm not about moderation (x3)
No ....
I want it all now -- don't have time to waste
Do it all in haste
If patience is a virtue
I'll see you in hell
I'm too fat, too thin, too fast, too slow
I'm never in control
I'm too good, too bad, too shy, too bold
Oh, you've got to know
I'm not about moderation
I'm about driving, driving
Way over the speed limit in my car
I'm not about moderation
He tip toes
Down the stairs
Carefully, don't wake the baby
His wife is fast asleep
She doesn't see
The double life he's leading
The face he wears at night
What he can do with a knife
He trembles with sweet, sick satisfaction
He does it again and again and again
Another life is taken
The more I see
Of the cruelty surrounding me
The more I like my dog
The more hatred I see
Each night on my TV
The more I like my dog
He tip toes
Around the corner
Evil thoughts spin in his head
He only sees their skin
Not their faces
He wishes they all were dead
The bell rings
The children play
It's just another sunny day
Then there's a scream
It fills the air
It's not a game -- the blood is real, it's everywhere
The more I see
Of the cruelty surrounding me
The more I like my dog
The more hatred I see
Each night on my TV
The more I like my dog
A dog doesn't know how to hate
A dog doesn't discriminate
A dog doesn't premeditate
The insanity that humanity
Does .....
The more I see
Of the cruelty surrounding me
The more I like my dog
The more hatred I see
Each night on my TV
When I think of your hands sliding down my back
When I think of your sweat on my skin
And your moist breath whispering in my ear
I ... I ... I
I get sick
Sick to my stomach
I pretended to love you longer than I did
I wish I could erase the images I see
Your satisfied grin, you lying beneath me, dear
I ... I ... I
I get sick
Sick to my stomach
How could I let you get so close?
You slithered in when I was needy
By the time I saw it for what it was
It was too late to put on the brakes
When I think of the way people are looking at me
Like I lead you on -- they're wrong
They don't know the whole story
And now you turn me on, oh you turn me on
About as much as sandpaper masturbation, dear
I ... I ... I
What flash of insanity
Could have made me
Do what I did?
With all your false maturity
It's a lie
You're nothing but a kid
You devoured my skin
How could I let you in
And out and in and out and in and out and in and out?
I ... I ... I
When I think of what never should have been
It makes my head spin
I ... I ... I
I get sick
Sick to my stomach
I'm hiding ...
I'm hiding ...
I'm hiding who I really am
I want to tell the truth, but I just can't
We built our bond on honesty
But still I've hidden
This part of me
He understands me like nobody else
With him I can truly be myself
Believe me, I never want to lie
But I lied to him
And I don't know why
But I wish I could go back
To that one moment in time
When I had the chance
The chance to do the right thing
The right thing
What am I so afraid of?
I felt a piece of me die
And it's the part of me that keeps me alive
God give me the strength to tell the truth tonight
I want to set things right
So I'm not ...
Hiding
Don't want to be hiding
Don't want to be
Don't want to be
I feel inadequate
That extra mystery puzzle piece that doesn't fit
That birthday candle that doesn't stay lit
I feel like shit
How can I reinvent myself
to meet the standards
That they have set
I'd like to end this game
I'd press start over
Next time everything
stacked better in my favor
I'm all fed up and starved to death
Carved and sliced to look my best
There's nothing wrong with me
I'm so sick of this
Living up to an image
That doesn't exist
I feel all worn out
Like a Barbie doll with its legs ripped off
And hair torn out
Fuck it, she's just a doll
I'm more like Barbie's friend
The one who didn't get
The pink Corvette, the platinum hair
And perfect breasts
I hate that bitch for what she's done to my head
I'm all fed up and starved to death
Carved and sliced to look my best
There's nothing wrong with me
I'm so sick of this
Living up to an image
That doesn't exist
Don't follow me down this downward spiral
It's like a viral infection
No antibiotic protection
The world will make you feel
Like its collection of lies
It's lies ... it's lies ... it's lies ....
Is real ....
There's nothing wrong with me
There's nothing wrong with you
I'm inadequate
I don't need your false affection
I don't need your serpent smiles
Drawing me into your garden
The devil hides behind angel eyes
I'll erase you from my memory
I'll delete you from my mind
I had to close my eyes to how I felt
To realize that I was blind
I don't need your razor blade caresses
Those subtle cuts upon my soul
And I'm not gonna put myself in prison
For something that you stole
You know there's no poison in this venom
And there's no hatred in these words
It's the pain that sparks this fire
And swells the river of fuel it burns
I'll erase you from my memory
I'll delete you from my mind
I had to close my eyes to how I felt
To realize that I was blind
And don't need another nail in my coffin
And I don't need a stake through my heart
And I don't need you to keep telling me
That what I did drove us apart
I don't need your candy-coated love
Sweet at first, bitter inside
And I don't need to mend your broken wings
If you won't try once more to fly
A closed casket for our twisted love
And I'm alone to mourn this loss
I built this with unknowing hands
Now I alone must bear this cross
I'll erase you from my memory
I'll delete you from my mind
I had to close my eyes to how I felt
To realize that I was blind
I'll erase you
I'll delete you
I'll erase you
I'll erase you
I'll delete you
