Hillary Clinton acknowledges her mistake in using private email when she served as Secretary of State, but rejects accusations that she broke the law.
Former US senator and the presumed front-runner for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, Hillary Rodham Clinton, has faced up to the media to answer questions about the email controversy she is caught up in. She used her personal email to send and receive work emails when she was Secretary of State. Clinton has handed over tens of thousands of those emails, relating to her work, but has deleted thousands more which she claims are about personal matters such as yoga practice and her daughter's wedding plans. Critics has called this secretive and Republicans have said she must come back to Capitol Hill to testify. Senator Trey Gowdy, who is heading up the committee looking into the Benghazi attacks in 2012, has said he is not convinced and Clinton needs to provide more emails. He adds that there was a huge batch of communications missing, including during a time when Clinton flew to Libya. A body language expert breaks down former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's body language to see if it agrees with what she is saying.
SNL wasted no time tonight, getting right to the controversy over Hillary Clinton‘s emails in its cold open. And this Hillary––”a relatable woman on a couch”––won’t let a little thing like email get in the way of ascending to the presidency. Clinton looked slightly possessed as she insisted that “there will be no mistakes in my rise to the top” and dared the media to go through not just her emails, but her Netflix and Instagram accounts. Clinton declared, “I will ascend to the high office of president and claim my rightful place in history!!!… if I choose to run!”

The Associated Press reports that New York Senator Hillary Clinton used an email server located in the Clinton's Chappaqua, New York home. Hillary Clinton did not use a .gov email address and instead used Clintonemail.com which was hosted on her personal email server. Government officials' email accounts are considered federal records. The .gov email servers are mirrored in other locations as backup and are highly protected against hacking attempts. Clinton's email server was private and more vulnerable to fire or flood damage or hacker attacks. If someone wanted to send the senator an email, it would first go to a mail server. The mail server then queries a domain registrar—Clintonemail.com was registered with Network Solutions—who would then provide the domain location. The message then travels through the internet to arrive at the designated server location—Clinton's home. The greatest threat to an email account being compromised may be an attack on the domain registrar. If a savvy hacker forced the domain registrar to return a false domain location they could intercept messages sent to the recipient's domain. This would also allow the hacker to send messages that appear to come from the hacked domain. In November of last year, President Obama updated the 1950 Presidential and Federal Records Act to include electronic communication as part of federal records. ------------------------------------------------------------- Welcome to TomoNews, where we animate the most entertaining news on the internets. Prospective presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is in the midst of a new controversy, with critics questioning her acceptance of donations for the Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation. Clinton reportedly received funds from countries with questionable human rights records – particularly for women – including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries in the Middle East. HILLARY CLINTON (AGE 66) - NEW YORK - POLITICIAN Original Airdate: Monday June 9, 2014 (ABC-TV) . JOIN QUIZGROUP PARTNER PROGRAM: http://join.quizgroup.com/ .
60 minutes President Barack Obama lauded Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton as one of his closest advisers and said their shared vision for America's role in the world persuaded his one-time rival -- and potential successor -- to be his top diplomat while he dealt with the shattered economy at home. During a joint interview that aired Sunday, Obama and Clinton chuckled as they described their partnership and stoked speculation that Obama may prefer Clinton to succeed him in the White House after the 2016 elections. Clinton is leaving Obama's Cabinet soon, and speculation about the former first lady and senator has only grown more intense after a heated appearance last week on Capitol Hill. Both Obama and Clinton batted away questions about future campaigns, but the joint interview -- the president's first with anyone other than first lady Michelle Obama -- was only likely to increase the fascination with Clinton's future. "The president and I care deeply about what's going to happen for our country in the future," Clinton said. "And I don't think, you know, either he or I can make predictions about what's going to happen tomorrow or the next year."

At the fifth annual Women in the World Summit, New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman spoke with IMF director Christine Lagarde and former secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Both women were introduced by summit founder Tina Brown as "first among women," and greeted with a standing ovation at New York's Lincoln Center. Each is the most popular female politician in her country. Each grew up with brothers and learned how to elbow her way in and operate in a man's world. Each champions women in their public pronouncements and policies, and when Clinton and Lagarde appeared together at a panel moderated by Thomas L. Friedman, together they called for greater political and economic participation by women around the globe. "Women," Clinton said from the stage, "are the world's most untapped resource." Women "are better than men at adjusting, which is a sign of intelligence," Lagarde said. "So we're a threat. Because we can achieve lots and lots of things and more than they can."
Clinton claims she had doubts about video explanation after Benghazi strike. (Fox News) Hillary Clinton, in a sit-down interview with Fox News, suggested Tuesday that she had doubts from the outset about whether the Benghazi terror attack was triggered by a protest over an anti-Islam film -- though her State Department ended up pushing that narrative for days. "This was the fog of war," Clinton said, when asked about the administration's controversial public explanation of the attack. "My own assessment careened from the video had something to do with it, the video had nothing to do with it -- it may have affected some people, it didn't affect other people," she said, in an interview with Fox News' Bret Baier and Greta Van Susteren. Clinton added: "There's no doubt terrorists were involved." The former secretary of State appeared to offer a nuanced explanation of how her department came to initially embrace the video explanation. She stood by prior statements that she was not aware of any reports contradicting intelligence community talking points citing the video, yet suggested she was personally unsure about what caused the violence. Four Americans, including U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, died in the attack. "I was trying to make sense of it," Clinton said. Despite her own apparent deliberations, the State Department put out a statement the night of Sept. 11 that cited "inflammatory material posted on the Internet." Clinton suggested Tuesday that the connection was based on intelligence community findings. The former secretary of State spoke to Fox News as she tours the country in promotion of her new memoir, "Hard Choices," returning in full force to the public spotlight after leaving the Obama State Department last year. The former senator and first lady addressed a wide range of topics, from the NSA scandal to Iraq to the internal deliberations of the Obama administration. Clinton is widely believed to be preparing for a 2016 presidential run, though has been coy on that question for months. Still dogging her political prospects, however, is the controversy over the 2012 Benghazi terror attack. State Department official Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, also died in the strike. The State Department, under her leadership at the time, continues to face questions -- and a congressional probe -- over whether it ignored security warnings leading up to the attack, and why the department and others in the administration overlooked evidence of a terror attack in favor of the faulty explanation that it was fueled by a protest. Hours before the interview, the administration announced that a key suspect in the attack, Ahmed Abu Khattala, was captured by a U.S. team over the weekend and was being brought back to the United States to face criminal prosecution. The capture could help temper criticism that the Obama administration had not brought anybody to justice for the deadly assault, though other suspects remain at large. Clinton said Tuesday that the capture over the weekend shows the U.S. will go after anyone who targets Americans. "We have an unwavering commitment to go after anyone no matter how long it takes who is responsible for harming Americans," she told Fox News, adding that if she were president and the evidence were in place, she would be "ready to give the order" to read Khattala his Miranda rights. As for the events of Sept. 11, 2012, Clinton said she was engaged with a "full array of officials" on the response to the attack. "We had open lines," she said, adding that President Obama told the Pentagon to "do everything you can to help our people."

When Bill Clinton took office as president in January 1993, Hillary Rodham Clinton became the First Lady of the United States, and announced that she would be using that form of her name. She was the first First Lady to hold a postgraduate degree and to have her own professional career up to the time of entering the White House. She was also the first to have an office in the West Wing of the White House in addition to the usual First Lady offices in the East Wing. She was part of the innermost circle vetting appointments to the new administration, and her choices filled at least eleven top-level positions and dozens more lower-level ones.[116] She is regarded as the most openly empowered presidential wife in American history, save for Eleanor Roosevelt. Some critics called it inappropriate for the First Lady to play a central role in matters of public policy. Supporters pointed out that Clinton's role in policy was no different from that of other White House advisors and that voters were well aware that she would play an active role in her husband's presidency.[119] Bill Clinton's campaign promise of two for the price of one led opponents to refer derisively to the Clintons as co-presidents,[120] or sometimes the Arkansas label Billary.[81][121] The pressures of conflicting ideas about the role of a First Lady were enough to send Clinton into imaginary discussions with the also-politically-active Eleanor Roosevelt.[nb 8] From the time she came to Washington, she also found refuge in a prayer group of The Fellowship that featured many wives of conservative Washington figures.[122][123] Triggered in part by the death of her father in April 1993, she publicly sought to find a synthesis of Methodist teachings, liberal religious political philosophy, and Tikkun editor Michael Lerner's politics of meaning to overcome what she saw as America's sleeping sickness of the soul and that would lead to a willingness to remold society by redefining what it means to be a human being in the twentieth century, moving into a new millennium.[124][125] Other segments of the public focused on her appearance, which had evolved over time from inattention to fashion during her days in Arkansas,[126] to a popular site in the early days of the World Wide Web devoted to showing her many different, and frequently analyzed, hairstyles as First Lady,[127][128] to an appearance on the cover of Vogue magazine in 1998.

IF SOMEONE HAVE THE FULL VIDEO, PLEASE UPLOAD IT. :) Hillary Rodham Clinton, then First Lady of Arkansas, was named chair of the Arkansas Educational Standards Committee in 1983, where she sought to reform the state's court-sanctioned public education system. "A school that passes illiterate students commits educational fraud. There is a feeling of urgency and a need for changes in education. If we do not seize the opportunity we have now, we will go backward. The route to being someone in this society starts with education, and we intend to be sure that every child in this state is somebody. Washington (CNN) -- Hillary Clinton did at CNN's town hall meeting on Tuesday what most politicians do: She staked out a position on some issues, catered to her base in others and avoided some questions altogether. There were comments during her hour-long interview with CNN International Correspondent Christiane Amanpour and a studio audience at the Newseum as well as Tumblr that are sure to make the base happy. Those included how far Clinton went to attack pro-gun activists and her states-rights approach to marijuana, which was a departure from her earlier position. Between the answers and dodges, though, Clinton sounded, acted and presented herself very much like a candidate, not solely as a former secretary of state. She was careful, at times, about not going too far on an issue and when asked about forward looking policy questions, she regularly used the word "we." Clinton also entertained questions about 2016. She said she's "not going to be rushed to" decide on whether to run for president and that she was not moving any closer to making a decision. Tuesday, June 17, 2014.

Hillary Clinton delivers a keynote speech at the Emily's List 30th anniversary gala held in Washington as she prepares to embark on what people close to her are not shying away from calling an historic campaign. Hillary received a warm welcome calling for equal pay and paid leave before a crowd that has worked to elect pro-choice Democratic women for decades. “We’re fighting for an economy that includes everyone and works for everyone,” Clinton said. Recently commissioned Emily's List polling found that 86 percent of voters in nine battleground states believed the United States was ready to elect a woman president, while 72 percent said it was likely that a woman would be elected in 2016.

Hi guys! I did this long ago before the same GOP had my YouTube channels deleted. Im posting this as a time capsule to remind the younger folks that these crooks will only put up a false candidate in the coming election. In this video, you will see Ron Paul dogwalk all GOP contenders in public televised debates. We on the ground also earned for Ron plenty of delegates to get to the Republican National Convention in Tampa, Florida in 2012. We were met down there with military force, and not allowed into that convention. They put up Romney as the candidate. This man was a joke, still a joke, and shown here for proof. So they just gave it over to Obama in 2008, 2012, and it will happen again. Rand Paul is not Ron Paul. I should know, he has been my senator here for the last five years. Our farmers are still not even allowed to grow hemp. Christy and Jeb Bush just farts in the wind. America lost bigtime when its corporate citizens dogwalked REAL citizens in 2008 and 2012. Can we still try to draft Ron Paul? Semper Fi Brian Thornton TheDebtAssassins MAsonTRIX So sorry all I could not fix the music. Towards the end of TheDebtAssassins main channel I had to fight the YouTube uploader tooth and nail. ANYTHING Ron Paul positive at that time was severely blocked out.
In this Spindle segment, Jay and Brian discuss Hillary Clinton’s eyesight problems: namely, not being able to see serious conflicts of interest. They banter about “Net Neutrality,” and Brian tries to provide deeper insight by probing into an underlying idolatry common to those living in affluent America. Finally, they close the show by noting Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to a joint session of Congress warning about the prospects of a nuclear Iran.
Hillary Clinton pros and cons - 2016 election
Hillary Clinton is under fire for how she used a private email account as Secretary of State, but did the New York Times and the media oversell the story? The 2005 rules set in place to protect security, and the 2014 law that mandated official email use--put in place after Clinton left office, is discussed by Eric Boehlert. The media sensationalizing the story, and if the scandal has been overblown to make a juicier story is discussed in this excerpt from the Media Mayhem interview, hosted by Allison Hope Weiner. TMZ, the Hollywood tabloid website, has the first footage of Hillary Clinton being questioned about her emails in person. While many journalists over the past three days have tried to no avail to get answers from the former secretary of state, TMZ’s D.C. photographer Colin questioned Clinton about her use of personal email accounts to conduct official business while serving in the Obama administration. The photographer asked Clinton during a run-in at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, "With the blunder of the emails, was that just a generalization gap or can that be corrected?” Clinton ignored the question and continued on her way through the airport just outside Washington, D.C. Earlier in the day, the same photographer asked Clinton for a comment on whether she will be running for president. She responded with a wave. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/03/tmz-hillary-clinton-stalking-115796.html http://www.wochit.com

In a reversal, the State Department acknowledged Friday that a congressional investigation into the attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi played a role in the agency’s decision to ask Hillary Clinton and three other secretaries of state to turn over copies of all work-related emails they sent or received on private accounts during their tenure. State spokeswoman Marie Harf told reporters that a special House committee’s ongoing probe into the Benghazi incident was one of many factors that led the department to send a request last October that resulted in Clinton sending her former agency 55,000 pages of emails she exchanged on an unofficial account. Earlier this week, Harf and other state department officials said the decision to approach the former secretaries about searching their personal email accounts stemmed solely from a broad effort to update the State Department’s electronic record keeping efforts. A State Department official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, also said Tuesday that the request for Clinton’s records was “independent” of and unrelated to the Benghazi probe. http://www.politico.com/story/2015/03/state-dept-changes-story-on-emails-115841.html http://www.wochit.com
