Eleven teenage boys find themselves suddenly alone in a post-apocalyptic world in which the only food they can find to eat is 'Skinny Wheats' crackers. They learn to live outdoors, where they are safer, but the weather is always hot, and they call their camp 'Paradise.' Their daily searches for food and people are dangerous and not always survived, but they are hopeful that if they found some adults the adults would know what to do... until they actually find some adults and realize they're better off on their own, and they are stronger than they knew. Meanwhile, something invisible leaves notes for the boys with clues on them, which they follow to a shocking discovery that could steer them in an entirely new direction.

As he reads, the movie quickly transitions to the underground world of the crime-ridden streets of Detroit. Where soon to retire mob enforcer Nino Capazo is out for revenge after all his assets have been frozen by New york crime boss Benito Fontaine. Marked for death, on the run and no one on the outside to turn too. He turns to the inside. Inside Jackson State Prison lies his answer, Rio. A former partner in crime. Nino helps him escape to round up a crew new bloods who are forced into attempting the biggest heist in FBI history.

With his traditional Chinese/Japanese patterns, Jimmy Ho, now in his sixties, remains one of the coolest and most forward thinking tattooists in Hong Kong. James Ho, Jimmy’s father, is widely recognized as Hong Kong’s very first local tattoo artist as he started inking foreign sailors as early as 1960s so if anything, Jimmy learnt everything from his old man. Jimmy opened his first tattoo shop at the age of 14, followed by more than 40 years serving clients including film stars and local gangsters. We visited his shop in Portland Street, Mong Kok, to talk to the veteran about his glorious career and “the golden age of Hong Kong tattoo”, while getting a koi fish tattoo on ourselves. The End of the Umbrella Revolution: Hong Kong Silenced

In September 2014, VICE News documented the birth of the so-called Umbrella Movement in Hong Kong. When students organized a weeklong strike to protest China’s handling of the local election process, the government responded with tear gas. Thousands of Hong Kong residents took to the city’s streets in solidarity with the students and the protesters occupied several major roads for weeks on end. Nearly two months into the occupation, the demands and resolve of the protesters remained unchanged. They started to become fatigued and divided against each other, however, and public support for their cause began to decline. The movement was under immense pressure to either escalate their action, or to retreat and give back the streets. When VICE News returned to Hong Kong near the end of 2014 to check in on the protesters, we witnessed the final days of the Umbrella Movement’s pro-democracy demonstrations. Ten other men share his room. Piled up to the ceiling, their cages would look shocking in a zoo. A chief worry is hygiene. 8-year-old Jessica lives with her mother in a cubicle too small to let a grown man stand. She points to the only toilet on their floor: "I hate it. People above throw dead rats down here". Although the need for public housing is dire, nothing is being done to eradicate cage dwelling. With only half of the government elected by universal suffrage, the poor just don't have a voice. Hier leben Menschen wie der Lehrer Chen, der auf fünf Quadratmetern nicht nur wohnt, sondern auch arbeitet. Nachmittags drängen sich regelmäßig Studenten in die winzige Wohnung. Mit sieben Personen zwischen hunderten Büchern auf nur fünf Quadratmetern diskutieren? In Hongkong keine Seltenheit. Als China-Korrespondentin Christine Adelhardt Chen besucht, muss das Kamerateam durch die geöffnete Tür filmen - denn für die Crew ist nun wirklich kein Platz mehr.Hongkongs Platzmangel ist vor allem der Lage der Stadt geschuldet, die sich über eine hügelige Halbinsel erstreckt. Die Höhenunterschiede ermöglichen zwar spektakuläre Blicke, machen aber das Leben in Hongkong nicht gerade einfacher. Die ganze Stadt ist durchzogen von Treppen und Fußgängerbrücken - und der mit 800 Metern längsten Rolltreppe der Welt. Wer wenig Platz hat, geht zum Essen gerne aus. Hongkongs Küche ist berühmt für ihre Vielfalt und Kreativität, aber auch für die traditionellen, chinesischen Gerichte - wie etwa Schlangensuppe. Wer zu Hause isst, lässt in der Regel für sich kochen. Viele Hongkonger beschäftigen Hauspersonal, denn auch ganz normale Mittelstandsfamilien können dem Arbeitsdruck der Stadt nur so standhalten.
