Namwon (Namwon-si) is a city in North Jeolla Province, South Korea. Namwon is about 45 minutes from the provincial capital of Jeonju, which is three hours away from Seoul.
The official city flower is Royal Azalea (철쭉) while the city tree is the crape-myrtle (배롱나무) and the city bird is the swallow (제비).
Namwon is a small city located just outside of Jirisan National Park, which has the largest set of mountains on the South Korean Mainland. It is 3 and a half hours from the Seoul Central City Bus Terminal and about one hour from both the U-Square Bus Terminal in Gwangju and the Jeonju Inter City Bus Terminal. It is called "the City of Love" because of the famous Korean love story of Chunhyang. Gwanghallu Garden is a shrine to this love story.
Namwon was founded in 685 during the reign of King Sinmun of Silla Kingdom. Namwon county was founded on April 1, 1895.
The city suffered during the Siege of Namwon in 1597 which was part of the Imjin War. During the siege that lasted from August 13 to August 16 the only defenders against the Japanese army of 56,000 men were 3300 Korean and Chinese soldiers and 6000 women and children. In the end the Japanese found a way to enter the city and killed all the soldiers and civilians.
Jason Mraz ( /məˈræz/; born June 23, 1977 in Mechanicsville, Virginia) is an American singer-songwriter. Mraz released his debut album, Waiting for My Rocket to Come, which contained the hit single "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)", in 2002, but it was not until the release of his second album, Mr. A-Z, in 2005, that Mraz achieved major commercial success. The album peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and sold over 100,000 copies in the US. In 2008, Mraz released his third studio album, We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. Mraz's international breakthrough came with the release of the single "I'm Yours" from the album We Sing. We Dance. We Steal Things. The single peaked at number six on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Mraz his first top ten single. The song was on the Hot 100 for 76 weeks, beating the previous record of 69 weeks held by LeAnn Rimes' "How Do I Live". The song was a huge commercial success in the US, receiving a 5x platinum certification from the RIAA for sales of over five million. The song was successful internationally, topping the charts in New Zealand and Norway and peaking in the top ten of multiple international charts.
Yu Jin (died 221) was a military general serving under the warlord Cao Cao during the late Han Dynasty period of Chinese history. He joined Cao in the early years of the civil wars that led to the collapse of the dynasty, and fought in many of the campaigns that established the warlord's position as a central figure of the period preceding Three Kingdoms.
Despite having surrendered to enemy forces at the Battle of Fancheng, Yu Jin was considered by Chen Shou, the Jin Dynasty historian and author of the Records of Three Kingdoms, to be one of the Five Elite Generals of Cao Cao, along with Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Yue Jin, and Zhang He.
A local of Juping (southwest of present day Tai'an, Shandong), Yu Jin first joined the Yan Province (兗州) governmental force against the Yellow Turban Rebellion in the early 180s. When Cao Cao took over Yan Province in 193, Yu became a subject of the rising warlord and was placed under the command of Wang Lang. Wang was impressed by Yu's talent and recommended the man to Cao, who promoted him to an army commander. Yu had since played active roles in campaigns against Tao Qian in Xu Province (徐州), Lü Bu in Puyang, and remnants of the Yellow Turbans around Qing Province.
Lee Jung Hyun is a Korean pop singer and actress. She is widely known as "The Techno Warrior" or "The Techno Queen", but due to other singers singing Techno, she changed her title to "The Queen of Transformation". Her English name is AVA and her Japanese name is Hyony.
She made her movie debut at the age of 16 in A Petal, which won domestic and foreign film awards.
Before releasing her first solo music she featured as a guest vocalist on the Jo PD single "Fever", also appearing in the music video. She also appeared in the music video for Goofy's "The Rule of the Game".
Lee assumes a unique persona for each album, such as a mermaid, Barbie doll, tribal queen, soldier, Korean folk dancer, belly dancer, or princess of the sea. She has garnered many nicknames over the years, including Techno Queen of Korea, Ms. Charisma, Little Giant, and Queen of Change.
Her early work is techno-style dance music. Her first single, Wa (와, "Come") topped the Korean charts for three weeks, while her second, Bakkwo (바꿔, "Change") won awards for Best Song and Most Broadcast Song. These two songs in particular were covered by artists throughout Asia and Europe. Many of her earlier songs are sung in an angry mood, from the perspective of a rejected lover.
Lee Jung aka J. Lee (born Lee Jung Hee, 이정희, on October 24, 1981) is a South Korean singer and actor. He made his debut as a member of 7 Dayz; Lee has since become a solo singer. Although his last album has underperformed, he has continued his popularity by becoming a mainstay on KBS's Heroine 6, becoming part of the "Gag Team 3" with Shin Jung Hwan from Country Kko Kko and Kim Jong Min from Koyote.
In January 2007, Lee claimed that another singer used his voice to debut. He stated that he heard his recording being used by another artist by viewing the performance on television. He previously thought the song was going to be his debut song to launch his singing career. "Lee Jung lipsynch singer" went on to become most searched keyword at one point.
He joined the Korean marines on October 12, 2008.
come with me, run with me,
feel the heat of morning sun.
come with me, run with me,
see the way the river runs.
come to me, come to me
now.
come to me, come to me
now.
the music’s changed,
it’s getting louder.
by next weekend,
you’ll be gone.
the summer days
are nearly over now,
the DJ plays
a summer song.
the good-time crowd
is looking older,
their cartoon laugher
seems unkind.
the summer days
are nearly over now,
the summer rave
counts the hours and marks your time.
the summer rays
are streaming through the evening sky.
the summer says,
self-defeat in sparkling eyes,
breaking up the family ties.
she smiles and tells another lie.
all you want to do is cry.
hopes drowning in the hurt -
song of the surf.
and as she takes the sun away,
she asks how you feel today.
the sky has turned pavement grey,
the remnants of her body spray
still lingers on your shirt.
song of the surf.
everytime you catch her eyes,
all you want to do is cry -
silence growing.
everytime you catch her eyes,
all you want to do is hide –
heartbeat slowing.
hopes drowning in the hurt.
song of the surf.
silence growing, heartbeat slowing -
you have climbed
and the climb left you blind.
too much to think about,
too little to do.
but you pull through,
you always pull through.
it goes slow,
answer questions you don't want to know.
too much to think about,
too little, it's true.
but you pull through,
you always pull through.
no defense against the pounds
and against the pence,
love it all.
no defense.
the voice that left the ladies moist
is running out of choice.
losing pace and losing poise,
losing out to some awful noise.
sleep awake,
sleep awake for now.
no defense against the pounds
and against the pence,
love it all.
no defense.
no disgrace
to close your eyes and to quit the chase.
love it all.
they came and went,
their mixtapes and their passion spent.
you stuck around,
and lost yourself in crowded worlds of sound.
you’d kill for that feeling once again,
afloat on the ocean, before the pain.
you pay the price averting eyes
in rooms where people go to die.
you’re scaling the mountains, crossing the plains
afloat on the ocean, avoiding the rain
dare to believe,
dare to believe in silence.
dare to believe,
dare to believe in noise.
you’d kill for that feeling once again,
afloat on the ocean, beyond the pain.
I see you struggle in the water,
A violent mess of motion.
I hear no screams,
I stand apart.
Only hearing
The crashing din
starving heart -
still beating, still breathing.
starving heart still breaking.
blazing youth -
turned careless, turned stupid.
blazing youth turned ugly.
chorus:
listen to me until I'm all talked away.
listen to me - scream wild, fall free.
distant fires -
like beauty, like boredom.
distant fires consume me.
falling free -
you catch me, you hold me
falling free, you touch me.
(chorus x 2)
kiss me stupid.
kiss me free.
(chorus x 2)
kiss me stupid.
jack the sax is scratching his head
in a makeshift bed of water and lead.
"he'd be better off dead,"
his only friend said.
in the rain and hurting again,
for the price of fame,
for a lover's stain,
for one more day to stay the same.
I'd ask you to love me,
but you'd never love me back.
I'd ask you to hold me,
just to feel the darkness crack.
jack the sax is clutching the phone,
but there's no-one home and he feels alone,
and his pale white flesh
has turned to stone.
I'd ask you to love me,
but you'd say it's just an act.
I'd ask you to hold me
the run-down streets, the civil wars,
you don't go there anymore -
it's how you used to live.
the trampled hopes, the made-up laws,
the itchy feet, the pub quiz bores -
it's so hard to forgive.
all sweet things,
all sweet things will come again.
weekend slimmers count their chains,
still wanting someone else to blame.
you watch them come and go.
empty nightclub escapades,
they tell you more than words can say -
that open doors get closed.
all sweet things,
all sweet things will come again.
the empty rooms, the empty house,
someday soon, you'll work it out -
still finding the way back home.
the schoolyard ghosts, the playtime fears,
you take your pills, they disappear -
the people that you've known.
all sweet things,
all sweet things will come again.
when the heartbeat slows.
the city in a hundred ways,
it wouldn't let you stay.
remember all the thankless days
and the lousy take home pay?
the photographs in black and white
that show you playing close to type -
your eyes against the midday light,
your eyes when they still had the fight.
they loved you
when you thought that no-one could.
they loved you
when you said that no-one should.
you talk so fast
to stop yourself from thinking.
you move so fast
so you'll never see you're sinking.
they love you
when you think that no-one can.
they love you
and they'll tell you that they understand.
they love you,
then they say you're much too,
much too bland.
spending days on the phone,
while the cold eats your bones.
how in the world do you make it right?
cowboy kate came too late,
she'll never see the dawn.
cowboy kate came too late,
she'll never face the sun.
the love goes by and the life runs dry,
pulls the tinsel from her hair.
she loses sight in the velvet night,
drops a tin can by the chair.
[chorus:]
through all the tiny victories and the big defeats,
it's carolina skeletons that keep her rooted to her seat.
cowboy kate came too late,
she'll never read the signs.
cowboy kate came too late,
she'll never have the time.
the love goes by and the life runs dry,
pulls the tinsel from her hair.
she dreams of flight in the velvet night,
throws a tin can in the air.
[chorus]
[chorus 2:]
through all the shitty obstacles and all the words so sweet,
I step out of the shadows
and into the bright day,
I cannot breathe
for the smoke and the city smells.
my head comes alive
with the humming of engines,
I cannot scream
for the dust in my throat.
I stare at the lovers
as they stand in the doorway,
I cannot dream
for the dirt on my hands.
I came to this place with
a lifetime of memories;
falling apart
like the shoes on my feet.
even now I see you fall -
even now I see you fall -
even now I see you fall -
your arms stretching out.
I remember the hot sand.
I remember the blue sky.
we sat side by side
and traded our names.
I remember the sweet air.
I remember the time when
I fell in love
only to cry in my sleep.
even now I see you fall -
even now I see you fall -
even now I see you fall -
your arms stretching out.
even now I sometimes call
even now I sometimes call
even now I sometimes call
your name in the night
in my dream
I feel you breathing
in my dream
I feel you breathe
in my dream
I feel you breathing
in my dream
talk slow, talk simple
talk to you about my life.
stand down, stand easy -
throw my flowers in the fire
[chorus:]
I need somebody to hold my hand
I need somebody who understands -
how to be crazy
and how to feel loved
and how to see the magic
in the streetlamps and the cars.
and how to be crazy
and how to feel love
and how to see the beauty
in the gutter and the stars.
[chorus]
lie down, lie easy
and forget this dying world.
we step outside
and face the poisoned weather.
you and I are something else together.
arm in arm,
we'd waste our charms forever.
drifting off, despite the cost,
afraid to ask for better.
Instrumental
let me quit the chase,
let me touch your face.
let me take your hand
and love all that you are.
let me understand
all your secret plans,
let me take your hand
and love all that you are.
this is not my life,
this is not my pain,
but it kills me all the same.
let me take your hand
and love all that you are.
let me hear your song,
let me do no wrong.
let me take your hand
and love all that you are.
let me comfort you
when the world seems blue.
let me take your hand
and love all that you are
this is not my life,
this is not my pain,
but it kills me all the same.
let me take your hand
you make me cold,
you make me feel so old.
you've got me in your velvet hold.
[chorus:]
this loving is easy,
this loving is free,
this loving demands no part of me.
we talked for such a long time
that it seemed to mean a lot.
I was yours and you were mine,
and then the feeling stopped.
[chorus x2]
run away,
get down and pray,
become a part of something
anyway.
run away,
work hard and pay,
become a part of something
anyway.
[chorus]
you never know
how people grow,
become a part of something.
slow it all down, it always moves too fast.
slow it all down, it always moves too fast.
follow me down to where I'll always be.
follow me down to where I'll always be.
I don't want to stay a million miles away.
can you see me?
the radiant city CAN
the radiant country YOU HEAR ME?
the twilight of money CAN
the growth of your body YOU HEAR ME?
the radiant city CAN
the radiant country YOU HEAR ME?
the twilight of money CAN
the growth of your body YOU SEE ME?
feel the miracle every day,
count the numbers fill the cup.
every move in every way.
every move is built on blood.
[chorus 1:]
go find your brightest colors,
tear all your curtains down.
don't hide beneath the covers.
don't sit around, don't face the ground.
pretty genius.
you could lose your little mind
never knowing what to find.
you could lose your little mind
staring blind into the light.
[chorus 2:]
go find your brightest colors,
tear all your curtains down.
take heed of diet mothers.
don't sit around, don't face the ground
pretty genius.
pretty genius,

the infant phenomenon
she dances so well.
the infant phenomenon
she dances so well.
sickening sensation of love,
sickening sensation of love.
sickening sensation of love -
still fearful.
sickening sensation.
it wasn't the fact
but the clothes on her back.
the infant phenomenon
put her legs in the sack.
the infant phenomenon
put her legs in the sack.
sickening sensation of love,

you can say the sun is shining if you want to;
I can see the moon and it looks so clear.
you can take the road that leads you to the stars now;
I can take a road that'll see me through.
I can take a road that'll see me through.
see me through...
hey...
why the noise
and why the protest?
why try to talk
when it's all been said?
why the dream
and why the dreaming?
why try to get away
when there's no place ahead?
feel the way teardrops fall.
feel the weight
teardrop fall.
teardrop fall.
why the rage
and why the anger?
why try to fight
when you've got no defense?
why the hope
and why the hoping?
why try to understand
when it never made sense?
shut your mouth
close your eyes.
don't try to answer,
don't try to try.
feel the way teardrops fall.
feel the weight
teardrop fall.
teardrop fall.
teardrop fall.
shut your mouth
close your eyes.
ah, don't try to answer,
don't try to try.
feel the way teardrops fall.
feel the weight
teardrop fall.
teardrop fall.
sometimes I see you
stand by your window
staring at the sky
your laughter stolen
your spirit unwoken
life in search of life
can you feel my heat?
can you hear my words
echo in your room?
I hear your breathing
those nights of needing
hold onto something wild
so sick of fighting
so tired of writing
you break down like a child
can you taste my dream?
can you see my light
sparkle through the gloom?
can you taste my dream?
can you see my light?
can you taste my dream?
can you see my light?
her life is sinking,
drinking up this stinking pain.
she gets to thinking,
"there's nothing now could ever change."
she lies for hours,
crashed upon the concrete floor -
remembers flowers
and looks that left her sweet heart raw.
[chorus:]
sweetheart, sweetheart, sweetheart,
sweetheart raw -
no hope, no fear;
no hope, no fear, no more.
the drunken fumbling,
the shaking hands and shaken head.
the constant stumbling.
the ghosts of what she should have said.
she sees her children
crushed beneath her coward feet.
still not forgiven,
she's broken by her heart's sweet beat.
[chorus x2]
the more I move,
the worse it gets;
the more I move,
the more I sweat.
it's getting harder
to face the light.
it's getting harder
to fight the fight.
so many big ideas,
so many big mistakes.
I should shake my fear -
erase my face.
[chorus:]
all I see -
soft shoulders rising.
all I see -
soft shoulders fall.
it's getting harder
to seem that easy.
it's getting harder
to feel that free.
[chorus]
it's getting harder
to face the light.
it's getting harder
to fight the fight.
deep,
deep in the heat,
fallen and weak...
sometimes we meet.
feet
sending out beats
on dirty streets...
sometimes we speak.
Wendy got it in the throat.
Linda died in Alan's coat.
you read it all in Brian's note.
(you're never going home.)
bone
covered by stone,
feeling alone,
and never going home
Robert lost the plot in Greece.
the Jesus army stole your niece.
but all you ever do is eat.
(you're never going home)
you're never going home
you're never going home
you're never going home
with the sun
on your lips,
you turn around
and spit.
you spit the moon right out of your mouth
for me,
you touch the sky and start to shout
removing all my doubts
[chorus:]
I could really love you,
I could give my heart away.
I could really love you,
it's so simple,
it's so simple.
I picture
my ideal.
how it looks,
and how it feels.
no more dreams turning to armchairs
again.
no more plans turning to blank stares,
as long as you are there.
[chorus]
it's so simple, simple, simple...
I could really love you,
roll me over on my right side,
roll me over slow.
roll me over on my right side,
my left side hurts me so.
I'm what you left behind,
I'm fading from your mind.
I'm what you left behind,
I'm fading from your mind.
there are things I want to tell you
I no longer tell you.
ways I want to hold you gone to waste.
it's harder in the evenings,
waiting for the phone rings
(the hollow thump of life that has no taste).
I'm what you left behind,
I'm fading from your mind.
I'm what you left behind,
I'm fading from your mind.
you got so clever
you're leaving me behind you.
you say you're better
(you're leaving me behind).
I remember
when heaven's lips kissed your every word,
I pretended
nothing you said could ever hurt.
you're leaving me behind you-
leaving me behind.
you're leaving me behind you - THINGS CHANGE
leaving me behind. THINGS CHANGE
you walk upon the dirt
and chocolate wrappers,
you're leaving me behind you.
you move across the bridge
over the river-
leaving me behind.
"wherever you don't go,
I'll be by your side," you lied.
I hate the way things change.
you're leaving me behind you - THINGS CHANGE
Instrumental
the songs that moved you
don't make a sound.
the light that saved you
now gone to ground.
you pull all the pictures down
from your crumbling walls.
you take all the faith you've found
and knock it down and watch it crawl.
[chorus:]
sometimes you listen to love cry.
sometimes you question why.
the dull white faces
of dull white friends
can't find the words that
will heal or mend.
you fall to the bathroom floor
on your bended knees,
your fist hits against the door -
you're staring at the way it bleeds.
[chorus]
sometimes you laugh like the water.
sometimes you lie and die.
sometimes you question why.
sometimes you question why.
you question why,
love, love me.
love me clean,
love me new.
love, love me.
understand I live for you
[chorus:]
when the storm is spoken,
the silence is broken.
won't you be my only baby?
when the doubt is over
and I move in closer,
move for me, my only baby.
love, love me.
love me fresh,
love me free.
love, love me.
take this heat and die for me.
[chorus]
breathe for me.
be for me
only.
[chorus]
help me through
help me through
help me through
help me through
these bitter days.
only baby.
long day beneath an angry sky;
we talk about the life we share.
I pour myself into you,
you drain the day's wild energy.
falling, falling, falling into you.
falling, falling, falling into you.
falling, falling, falling into you.
I never meant this,
I never meant anything like this.
and that's the story,
I never met anyone like you.
come to me
and make it special.
come to me
and make it real.
come to me and make it special.
come to me and make me feel.
shine your bright light over me
and help me see.
I walked on water.
I came through slaughter just for you.
come to me
and make it special.
come to me
and make it real.
come to me and make it special.
come to me and make me feel.
shine your bright light over me,
lay your dreaming at my feet.
I look at your face,
you take me to the place
where I don't know anything,
anything at all.
you flutter and dance,
I ramble and rant.
I don't know anything
but I feel that if I fall
you'll be
watching over me,
watching over me,
watching over me.
I feel that if I fall
you'll be
watching over me,
watching over me,
watching over me,
singing angel songs to right my wrongs.
the world leaves no trace
on my stainless face,
my days are clearer now
my nights are right.
I can never retreat.
I can never repeat
this hope for all the things
I know I'll never know.
I feel you
watching over me
watching over me
watching over me
and I can dream of love again
I feel you
watching over me
watching over me
I'm tired, I'm cold.
untied and feeling old.
you're all lit up like catherine wheels.
you're all lit up, but you're not real.
I don't need you,
not like I used to do.
I don't need you,
not like I did.
hate confusion, need advice.
love illusion, need advice.
what does it mean to be a part of you?
how does it feel inside the heart of you?
I don't need you,
not like I used to do.
I don't need you,
not like I did.
outside the machine,
left alone with my dreams.
outside the machine,
all lit up, somebody screams.
what does it mean to be a part of you?
Instrumental
maybe there's more to life
than just writing songs.
maybe not.
maybe there's more to life
than just righting wrongs
maybe not.
I grow so cold, you reach for gold
I fail to hold your attention.
[chorus:]
their pretty boy ways
always take you away,
take you away.
my revenge on seattle -
I retreat from the battle.
won't you stay?
maybe there's more to life
than just biting tongues.
maybe not.
out of the sky
and left to die -
believing the lie of protection.
[chorus x2]
maybe there's more to life
than just writing songs.
singing songs
they'll never understand.
tempo drifts
in half-cut wonderlands.
back when you were beautiful,
they'd smile and shake your hand.
friendship comes,
but it mostly goes.
you mark the time
with your fading clothes.
back when you were beautiful,
you'd pass it off as pose.
you walk for hours,
your feet like lead.
you keep your secrets
locked inside your heads.
back when you were beautiful,
I ran to the water before I could swim,
lost in your hair.
I saw the dawn, I saw the dawn.
I touched the shining gown.
Instrumental
your head on my shoulder,
your fist in my hand.
now the heartache is over
but I'm too weak to stand
too frightened to leave you,
too frightened to breathe.
too frightened to question,
to question belief.
[chorus:]
break heaven.
make heaven here.
I want you to take me
and make everything clear.
oh, let me guide you back
across the broken glass.
oh let me lay you down
upon the burning grass.
[chorus x2]
I want you to take me here.
I want you to take me clear.
it's too late to go now
it's too late to know
there's food on the table
there's dust on your soul
and the fire in your breath
and the fire in your head
turning inside
[chorus:]
animal ghost - silence your eyes
animal ghost - sleepwalk in the light.
it's too hard to dream here
it's too hard to think
there's growth in the garden
there's dirt in the sink
and the love in your mouth
and the love in your heart
drifting away
[chorus]
and the fire in your breath
and the fire in your head
turning inside
and the love in your mouth
and the love in your heart
drifting away
all the blue changes,
all the blue chains.
all the blue changes rearranged.
giving up on beautiful
and making peace with strange,
all the blue changes rearranged.
all the blue changes,
all the blue chains.
all the blue changes rearranged.
giving up on beautiful
and giving up on pain.
all the blue changes rearranged.
all the things we were -
rearranged.
the city in a hundred ways,
it wouldn't let you stay.
the city in a hundred ways
all I can remember:
a blow to my head
and then there was darkness
and then there was pain
all I can remember:
that noise in my ear -
and then there was silence,
and then there was fear.
time travel in texas
see where it gets us
time travel in texas
see where it gets us
time travel in texas
see where it gets us
time travel in texas
see where it gets us
all I can remember
they banged the drum to quiet the child
and then there was laughter
laughter running wild
time travel in texas FAIL THE RAIN
see where it gets us THAT FAIL RAN THROUGH ME
time travel in texas FAIL THE RAIN
see where it gets us THAT FAIL RAN THROUGH ME
time travel in texas FAIL THE RAIN
see where it gets us THAT FAIL RAN THROUGH ME
time travel in texas FAIL THE RAIN
thought so fast, I ran out of thought.
chased the wind, and found myself bought.
music sounds with echoes of youth,
loaded up with visions of truth
(the more I felt, the less that I knew).
chorus:
the night sky, the sweet earth.
the night sky, the sweet air.
I never knew what hit me.
fragrance clings like smoke to my clothes.
autumn trees shed leaves over me.
colours bring new life to the earth.
chorus 2:
the night sky, the sweet earth.
the night sky, the sweet air.
I tasted heaven, and it hurt like hell -
the higher I climbed, the further I fell.
among the trees -
smell the damp from the branches,
listen to the river.
I take the leaves,
scrape this sin off my skin,
breathe in the sweet air.
(chorus 2 repeat)
(chorus 1 repeat)
I never knew what hit me.
I thought of your perfect limbs.
I thought of your mind;
I woke up hungry,
I woke up blind.
I thought of your flaming lips,
I thought of your smell;
I woke up choking,
drowning in hell.
[chorus:]
too weak to make the stand;
just taking it like a man.
I thought of your breathing head,
I thought of your voice;
I lost my reason,
I lost my choice.
I thought of your beating heart,
I thought of your touch.
I thought of screaming.
I thought too much.
[chorus]
too late to heal the madness,
the road to hell is paved
with the souls of old failed singers
the wild, wild eyes, the non stop whys -
the dreadful songs they bring us.
their get up and go
makes me lie down and die.
their pug ugly row
makes the little ones cry.
sweetside silver night
sheds her skin in the cold spotlight.
sweetside silver night -
it's in the colour of her hair.
tired of losing face
and lost in summer thunder,
casual attire with no spare tyre,
you sit at home and wonder.
sweetside silver night
spills her gin in the pale moonlight.
sweetside silver night -
