In the animist framework of Australian Aboriginal mythology, The Dreaming is a sacred era in which ancestral Totemic Spirit Beings formed The Creation.
"Dreaming" is also often used to refer to an individual's or group's set of beliefs or spirituality. For instance, an indigenous Australian might say that he or she has Kangaroo Dreaming, or Shark Dreaming, or Honey Ant Dreaming, or any combination of Dreamings pertinent to their "country". Many Indigenous Australians also refer to the Creation time as "The Dreaming". The Dreamtime laid down the patterns of life for the Aboriginal people.[citation needed]
Dreaming stories vary throughout Australia, with variations on the same theme. For example, the story of how the birds got their colours is different in New South Wales and in Western Australia.[citation needed] Stories cover many themes and topics, as there are stories about creation of sacred places, land, people, animals and plants, law and custom. It is a complex network of knowledge, faith, and practices that derive from stories of creation. It pervades and informs all spiritual and physical aspects of an indigenous Australian's life.
Daryl Hall (born October 11, 1946) is an American rock, R&B and soul singer, keyboardist, guitarist, songwriter and producer, best known as the co-founder and lead vocalist of Hall & Oates (with co-founder/guitarist/songwriter John Oates). Hall scored several Billboard chart hits in the 1970s and early 1980s, and is regarded as one of the best soul singers of his generation. Guitarist Robert Fripp, who collaborated with him in the late 1970s and early 1980s, has written, "Daryl's pipes were a wonder. I have never worked with a more able singer." Since late 2007, he has hosted the web television series, Live From Daryl's House. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2004.
Daryl Franklin Hohl was born in Pottstown, a Pennsylvania borough 40 miles from Philadelphia. He started a recording career during and after attending Owen J. Roberts High School, from which he graduated in 1965 and entered Philadelphia's Temple University, majoring in music, while working with Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff as both an artist and session musician. Pursuing his goals in the big city, Hall quickly formed creative affiliations with such artists as Smokey Robinson, the Temptations and many other top soul singers of the 1960s.

Terence Kemp McKenna (November 16, 1946 – April 3, 2000) was an American philosopher, psychonaut, researcher, teacher, lecturer and writer on many subjects, such as human consciousness, language, psychedelic drugs, the evolution of civilizations, the origin and end of the universe, alchemy, and extraterrestrial beings.
Terence McKenna grew up in Paonia, Colorado. He was introduced to geology through his uncle and developed a hobby of solitary fossil hunting in the arroyos near his home. From this he developed a deep artistic and scientific appreciation of nature.
At age 16, McKenna moved to Los Altos, California to live with family friends for a year. He finished high school in Lancaster, CA. In 1963, McKenna was introduced to the literary world of psychedelics through The Doors of Perception and Heaven and Hell by Aldous Huxley and certain issues of The Village Voice that talked about psychedelics.
McKenna claimed that one of his early psychedelic experiences with morning glory seeds showed him "that there was something there worth pursuing." In an audio interview Terence Mckenna claims to have started smoking cannabis regularly during the summer following his 17th birthday.
Ralph McTell (born Ralph May in Farnborough, Kent, England, 3 December 1944 and raised in Croydon) is an English singer-songwriter and acoustic guitar player who has been an influential figure on the UK folk music scene since the 1960s.
Ralph McTell is best known for the song "Streets of London", which has been covered by over two hundred artists around the world. In the 1980s he wrote and played songs for two TV children's programmes, Alphabet Zoo, which also featured Nerys Hughes, followed by Tickle On The Tum, featuring Jacqueline Reddin. Albums were also released from both series. He also recorded the theme song to Cosgrove Hall's adaptation of The Wind in the Willows with Keith Hopwood, and this was released as a single in 1984 after the series was aired on ITV.
McTell's guitar playing has been modelled on the style of the US's country blues guitar players of the early 20th century, including Blind Blake, Robert Johnson and Blind Willie McTell. These influences led a friend to suggest that he change his professional name to McTell as his career was beginning to take shape.
Dreamtime begins
Where every song is the perfect place
Words never spoken
Are the strongest resounding
Life force is meant for us
To remember the stars, the earth
Still we forget
So asleep in this dreamtime
Lost in this dreamtime day
Take me up into that freedom place and justify
Electrify the senses sharpen than the soul intensify
Nominate that we can break out take, take, take, take together
Hesitate and you will dance on this earth to, to forever
You are the choice forever trying
Give you wings forever flying
You can fly, you can glide, you can dream
You can see through this interactive vision streaming
You have the faith, so busy trying
So let it go forever flying
To the sky, to the earth, to the moon, to the sea
To the sun, to the stars, to the dream you become
Nothing left to lose
Nothing more to prove
With wings of gold
You'll fly away
Talk among the prophets
Give you something
Talk among the teachers
Tell you something
Talk among your one true self now
Forever, forever, forever, forever
Dreamtime begins
Where every song is the perfect place
Words never spoken
Are the strongest resounding
Life force is meant for us
To remember the stars, the earth
Still we forget
So asleep in this dreamtime
Lost in this dreamtime day
Take me up into that freedom place and justify
On the silent wings of gold my soul intensify
Nominate that we can take, take, take, take, take, together
Demonstrate that we can break it out and take it forever
Here's what you know
Here's what you're asking
The soul is everlasting

Talk among the prophets, give you something
Talk among the teachers, tell you something
Talk among your one true self now
I saw you standing and I felt your rage
Like a dark cloud on a crowded stage
You were talking through the smoke in your fantasy
I know you, girl, I know what to believe
Maybe things ain't been so good at home
And the people that you love, never cared at all
You wanna run away, don't care where you go
You wanna run away, that's all you know
Believe it's alright to fantasize
And say the words you think will satisfy me
But you know better than that
'Cause you know what's a lie
You're living in dreamtime, baby
It's time to wake up
You're living in dreamtime, baby
It's time to shape up
In your dream, it's overcast
Rain comes down, moving your way fast
You wanna run away, don't care where you go
You wanna run away, that's all you know
Turn a corner, then you see a door
Walk on through, throw yourself on the floor
When you're looking up, it's no surprise
Standing there is a man with movie star eyes
Think he's gonna take care of you
The man with the plan that'll see you through
I say there ain't no way
'Cause I know he's a lie
You're living in dreamtime, baby
It's time to wake up
You're living in dreamtime, baby
It's time to shape up
I never saw anybody fall apart so fast
Living in dreamtime, you know it ain't gonna last
Never saw anybody think she's so right and be so wrong
The only way for us to be alone
Into the earth and in the stone
When you wanna be on your own, is dreamtime
I am there in the rock
From the start of the total clock
All of my dreams can interlock, in dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
To be there everyday
Letting curiosity point the way
Never felt I had a pleasant stay, in dreamtime
The sites are there before the eyes
History is crystallised
Every place has got a special size, in dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dream
We won't have to touch
We won't say too much
The only thing for us to do
Is walk about and then appreciate the view
Share my dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
To be there everyday
Letting curiosity point the way
Never felt I had a pleasant stay, in dreamtime
The sites are there before the eyes
History is crystallised
Every place has got a special size, in dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dream
We won't have to touch
We won't say too much
The only thing for us to do
Is walk about and then appreciate the view
Share my dreamtime
Share my dreamtime
Share my dream-time!

If I ever thought my whole world be torn apart
If I ever dreamed I was the lucky one
I wanna touch you, wanna reach you
It's stormin' all the time
The lonely one's alone again
There's no daylight comin'
Where did it go
Where did it go
And it seems
Seems like a hundred miles away
And the stars above
Are shining for real love
And the sun is coming through
For dreamtime
If I could've fixed it
Stormin' all the time
Used to be the king of the world
Now I'm thinkin' 'bout that little girl
And the hardest part
How many words that you can't say
But you would though
If you could go
Back again
Yeah
Now you're gone
How can anyone be so wrong
But it hurts too much
I'm just a lonely boy
For your touch
And the stars above
Are shining for real love
And the sun is coming through
For dreamtime
Now you're gone
How can anyone be so wrong
That it hurts too much
I'm just a lonely boy
For your touch
And the stars above
Are shining for real love
And the sun is coming through
For dreamtime
It's coming through
For dreamtime
It's coming through
For dreamtime
Dreamtime
A cry in the silence
A shine in the dark
Like a rising star
The dream is coming
Images of violence
A flight through time and space
It's such a lonely place
The dream has started
The smoke is rising
The vision's getting clearer
And words become a song
In the dreamtime
I've lost control
Marooned and cold
I suffer the fears
Of a future untold
I cannot change
The shape of things to come
The smoke is rising
The vision's getting clearer
And words become a song
In the dreamtime
the smoke is rising
the visions getting clearer
the hands of time running around
realising the future's getting nearer
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Oh the dream, dreamtime
I will have my dreamtime
My dreamtime, my dreamtime
The only thing untouched that's mine
I will have my dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Oh the dream, dreamtime
I will wear my hair long
My hair long, my hair long
An extension of my heart
I will wear my hair long
Dream
Dream
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Dreamtime, dreamtime
Oh the dream, dreamtime
I will have my dreamtime
My dreamtime, my dreamtime

Dreamtime...
something in my mind keeps me satisfied
shoved aside, pushed to the wayside
if you lead, i will follow you
vague memories in my mind they hide
shoved aside to get thrown by the wayside
if you lead, i will follow you
dreamtime comes quick when broken
keep me satisfied so help me
so long i prayed for dreamtime, so help me
and it's inside of you my friend
who'll save me, who will?
I saw you standing and I felt your rage
Like a dark cloud on a crowded stage
You were talking through the smoke in your fantasy
I know you girl
I know what to believe.
Maybe things ain't been so good at home

[Russell:]
A cry in the silence
A shine in the dark
Like a rising star
The dream is coming
Images of violence
A flight through time and space
It's such a lonely place
The dream has started
[Russell and Floor:]
The smoke is rising
The vision's getting clearer
And words become a song
[Russell:]
In the dreamtime
I've lost control
Marooned and cold
I suffer the fears
Of a future untold
I cannot change
The shape of things to come
[Russell and Floor:]
The smoke is rising
The vision's getting clearer
And words become a song
[Russell:]
look through the window
that never was mine
reflections of people
that never cry
in dreamtime
in dreamtime
lithe lust
picks the shape up
lithe lust
and my part is hard
in dreamtime
in dreamtime
flying in the dark
a lady sound
nobody bursts in another world
in dreamtime
in dreamtime
listen through the lies of distant times
this is my world and my world is mine
in dreamtime
1.Verse
A little candle save some light for me
Figures up me moving in the trees
Skins in linen perfume on my wrist
Full moon hangs over dreams in the mist
Pre-Chorus
Darkness on the edge shadows where i stand
I search for the times a watch with no hands
Refrain
It's dreamtime so come on
It's dreamtime vision on
Here we go to the other side
No one comes back very few survive
2.Verse
It's cloak 'n dagger could it be spring or fall
Walked without cut through a stained glass wall
Weaker in my eyesight candle in my grip
Words that have no form falling from my lips
Pre-Chorus
These dreams go on when i close my eyes
Every second of night live another life
Refrain 1x
Solo
3.Verse
If i fall right out of my dangerous sleep
Dive in the dark with creatures of the deep
Red burning skys over cold silent snow
Ground comes up the zombies start her show
Pre-Chorus
Silent dreams of me slink through my evil nights
I can see the dark daylight burns in my eyes
Refrain 2x
