Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (born July 5, 1969), better known by his stage name RZA (/ˈrɪzə/ RIZ-ə), is an American music producer, multi-instrumentalist, author, rapper, actor, composer, and filmmaker. A prominent figure in hip hop, RZA is the de facto leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has produced almost all of Wu-Tang Clan's albums as well as many Wu-Tang solo and affiliate projects. He is a cousin of the late group-mate, Ol' Dirty Bastard and GZA (who also formed the group with RZA). He has also released solo albums under the alter-ego Bobby Digital, along with executive producing credits for side projects.
In addition to the Wu-Tang Clan and his solo releases, RZA was also a founding member of the horrorcore Hip Hop group Gravediggaz where he used the name The RZArector. Furthermore, he has acted in several movies, including Coffee and Cigarettes, American Gangster, Gospel Hill, Life Is Hot in Cracktown, Ghost Dog, Funny People, Derailed, Due Date and Repo Men. He also appeared in the Showtime TV series Californication. His directorial debut is for the film he co-wrote and in which he plays the title role, The Man with the Iron Fists, also starring Russell Crowe. On November 1, 2012, he introduced the movie at a preview screening in the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens, the evening before the Universal picture opened nationwide.
Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. (born October 20, 1971), known professionally as Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper and actor from Long Beach, California. His music career began in 1992 when he was discovered by Dr. Dre of N.W.A and, as a result, was prominently featured throughout Dr. Dre's solo debut album, The Chronic (1992). He has since sold over 21 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.
Snoop's debut album, Doggystyle, was released in 1993 under Death Row Records, debuting at number one on both the Billboard 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Selling almost a million copies in the first week of its release, Doggystyle became certified 4× platinum in 1994 and spawned several hit singles, including "What's My Name?" and "Gin & Juice". In 1994, Snoop released a soundtrack on Death Row Records for the short film Murder Was The Case, starring himself. His second album Tha Doggfather (1996), also debuted at number one on both charts with "Snoop's Upside Ya Head", as the lead single. The album was certified double platinum in 1997.

Tickets: http://www.drafthouse.com/rza Austin | September 29 Los Angeles | October 10 After 18 months of careful planning, it’s finally here. Award winning musician and film director RZA (founder of the Wu-Tang Clan) is unleashing his hip-hop genius on the mother of all martial arts masterpieces, Lau Kar-leung’s THE 36th CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN in a live re score for the ages. Long before he was universally acknowledged as a guiding force in hip-hop by birthing Staten Island’s finest clan, RZA was an obsessive encyclopedia of martial arts cinema, in particular the work of the famed Shaw Brothers studio out of Hong Kong. RZA first saw THE 36th CHAMBER OF SHAOLIN on television when he was 12 years old and again 2 years later on the big screen of a seedy 42nd Street theater with his cousin, Uni...

RZA Interview With The Breakfast Club Power 105.1 2012 talking about Wu-Tang Clan ALBUM DJ Envy asked RZA about his relationship with Wu-Tang because it seemed as if someone from the crew always had would often speak out against him, but they would never fight him. RZA laughed at the question because he knew exactly what Envy meant by the question. RZA kept it real and went on to say that the group was built on real love and even though they may not have seen eye to eye, they were always respectful of one another. According to RZA the Clan's love was "deeper than money" and he never tampered with anyone's money, but there were moments when he'd pull a member aside and explain why his cut was bigger because he had his hand in so many projects.
RZA recently sat down on Bloomberg TV’s All Due Respect show to talk about the current presidential race, and his feelings on Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. It didn’t take long for the legendary Wu-Tang producer to begin making eye-popping comments, qualifying his “Black lives matter” statement with “All lives matter,” before mentioning that he stopped eating meat because “their lives matter too.” As the interview continued, he mentioned that even though “Trump keeps it real,” he’d love to see Clinton succeed Obama in the Oval Office, calling that a “one-two punch.” If that wasn’t enough, in another clip from the interview, RZA begins speaking about his–and Black people’s in general–relationship with law enforcement, revealing that as a child, thanks to...
RZA has earned respect. As a rapper, producer, actor, screenwriter, author, director, as leader/producer of the Wu-Tang Clan, he has been a Hip Hop Renaissance Man. RZA sat with Urban Music Association of Canada President Will Strickland, having a casually intense conversation during Canadian Music Week 2008. Those assembled listened to an incisive, expansive, give-and-take discussion. RZA and Will weaved a story about the formative years of Hip Hop, the origins of the Wu-Tang name, the history of RZA’s storied career. Candid and straightforward, RZA talked about even the bad choices he’d made in his life. Music was his way out of the ghetto, as he himself has said. “I just look for different ways to express my artistic nature.” RZA has been acclaimed numerous times as one of the great...
I feel that I was meant for something more
My curse, this awful power to unmake
And ever since you found your taste for war
You've forced me onto those whose lives you'd take
While Guernica in peaceful valley lay
And Dresden dreams of anything but death
The day was turned to night and night to day
You let me loose upon their fragile flesh
And so I hid among the smallest things
You found me there and ferried me above
The flame deluge is waiting in the wings
The smallest thread holds back the second flood
And who will stand to greet the blinding light
