Charlamagne: Jay Z Knew Solange Wasn't a Threat
http://www.vladtv.com - Charlamagne tha God shares his thoughts on Jay Z's highly publicized fight with Solange Knowles, and says it reiterated the fact that the rapper is one of the calmest and most strategic guys in hip-hop. He adds that Jay played the situation right, because he knew he would've been "public enemy number one" if the roles were reversed.- published: 25 May 2014

Charlamagne Calls Yelawolf & MGK "Vanilla N*ggas"
http://www.vladtv.com - Famed radio and television host Charlamagne tha God shares his thoughts on a Chief Keef fan who got "Love Sosa" inked on his face, saying the fan belongs in jail or a cemetery. When asked about Lil Wayne and Birdman's numerous facial tatts, Charlamagne says that while they will never have to worry about applying for a job, he thinks they both look dumb with inked-up faces. The face tat conversation continues when Charlamagne calls a guy with a Mitt Romney face tattoo a "white n*gga," adding that he would lump Machine Gun Kelly and Yelawolf in the same category. When he's asked about Mac Miller, Charlamagne says that the "Donald Trump" rapper is different, because he's a suburban jewish kid. He adds that he would never put Eminem in that category either, because Charlamagne says he's always seen Em as a pop star.- published: 02 Mar 2014

Charlamagne: We're Going to See More Bieber Mugshots
http://www.vladtv.com - Charlamagne chopped it up with VladTV about the current turbulent state of Justin Bieber. He stated that he predicted Justin Bieber would be arrested sooner or later three years ago, but nobody believed him back then. Charlamagne believes that it is Bieber's association with "ni**ers" and that type of lifestyle that has made him fall into such dark times. He explained that hanging around those kind of people or environment only attracts "bullsh*t" and makes the person subject to all the negatives that come with it such as "jail and death," among other things. Charlamagne thinks that the general public is seeing the "detox of Justin Bieber's ni**er ways," and that he is starting to realize that his negative actions are only bringing down his career. He referenced numerous tracks that Bieber did with rappers that have gotten no radio buzz. Since Charlamagne's prediction that Justin will begin to go back onto the right track, he has provided a very awkward deposition for the case in which his bodyguard has been accused of punching a photog. Justin gave nothing less than pure mocking attitude throughout the deposition, similar to Lil Wayne's deposition in the past.- published: 16 Mar 2014

The actor reveals that the only beef he had with Jamar was that he was calling out his friend online, and didn't understand why Jamar was making a big deal of it. Star: Khloe Upgraded From Lamar to French Montana
http://www.vladtv.com - Never the type to bite his tongue, Star sat down with VladTV and shared his opinion on French Montana cuffing Khloe Kardashian, saying he salutes the South Bronx rapper for "pimping out a Kardashian." He also feels French is an upgrade for Khloe, taking her from a "cokehead to a coke dealer." He then addresses Lamar Odom trying to go clubbing in LA, condemning the recent NY Knicks recruit and saying if he ever catches Odom at a club in NYC he'll spit on him with no hesitation. When asked about whether Khloe was wrong to leave Lamar at his low point, Star, in his own unique way, says that Khloe had needs and there's only so much she could "ride" for him.- published: 02 Jun 2014

Jamar: We're All at Risk of Exposure Like Sterling
http://www.vladtv.com - Lord Jamar addressed the topic of Donald Sterling's recent exposure as a racist after being recorded making various racially charged statements, in this clip from his exclusive interview with VladTV. Jamar began by speaking on Donald Sterling's alleged mistress, V. Stiviano, and how he feels about her potentially being the person who leaked the audio to the world. Jamar joked that Stiviano looks "suspect" like she could've "been a man in another life," and went on to state that he thinks she is a "piece of sh*t too." He does, however, think that people should be thankful for what she allegedly did, although Jamar still feels that the young woman is a "sell-out." The Brand Nubian emcee went on to say that if this was the only stain of racism cast upon Sterling's image, then the general public shouldn't hold it against him for life. However, since Sterling has demonstrated racist behavior in the past, he's finally gotten what's been coming to him. While everyone believes that Stiviano is the most logical person to point a finger at for releasing the audio, Jamar pondered the possibilities of the government actually being behind the whole scandal. He referenced the clarity of the audio as a possible reason to pin its release on the government, and also spoke about why he feels as though no one is safe and how we can all be exposed like Sterling if we are not extra careful.- published: 04 May 2014

Chingy Talks "Deep" Beef With Nelly & Ending Feud
http://www.vladtv.com - Chingy shares what it was like going on tour with Nelly, and reveals that their relationship didn't become closer while out on the road. He says that when he made it big, "a lot of hate started bubbling from Nelly's crew." The "Dem Jeans" rapper reveals that he got a phone call from Ali of the St. Lunatics, who allegedly said he was going to blow Chingy's head off. Things quickly escalated after the call, with Chingy's former friend being approached to sign to Derrty Ent. and releasing a diss record against Chingy. A mixtape was later put together by a St. Louis DJ who pitted Nelly and Chingy against one another, fueling the feud even more. Nelly then came out with "Ain't Another One," where he rapped, "I said I like the way you do that right thurr - uh/You just remember why you do that right thurr." Chingy took this as Nelly trying to "little boy" him, but says that he didn't take the jab to heart. When asked how they reconciled, Chingy reveals that he and Nelly were both at a Bow Wow concert and they decided to squash things after stepping on stage with Bow Wow.- published: 10 May 2014

Charlamagne on Drake Being Upset at Rolling Stone
http://www.vladtv.com - Charlamagne tha God shared his thoughts on Drake blasting Rolling Stone, saying that while he feels Drizzy should be able to say whatever he wants, he shouldn't backtrack when the conversation gets heated. He also addressed Drake's camp being upset with the magazine for replacing his cover with deceased actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman. Charlamagne said it depends on whether or not Rolling Stone reached out to Drake beforehand to let him know he'd be replaced. If they did, then Drizzy should have no complaints. He then explained how no one should be surprised that Macklemore took home the Best Rap Grammy this year, saying that the Grammys rarely, if ever, get Hip-Hop categories right because they simply don't know the culture.- published: 16 Apr 2014

Lord Jamar: 50 Cent's the Last Bully in the Industry
http://www.vladtv.com - Lord Jamar shares his thoughts on the 50 Cent/Slowbucks chain snatching incident at Hot 97's Summer Jam, and while the Brand Nubian rapper says he doesn't want anything to get out of hand, he finds the incident to be entertaining. He adds that Fif is "one of the last real bullies in the industry," adding that it didn't take but a few words before guys were swarming on Slowbucks. When asked about the G-Unit reunion, Lord Jamar thought it would've been cool if 50 Cent could have overcome his beef with Game and appeared on stage with the Cali rapper. He acknowledges that the original G-Unit didn't include Game, but says when the West Coast rapper joined the crew, "they were at their pinnacle." Jamar also believes that the crew's new single, "Nah I'm Talkin' Bout," is lacking "real love" from the group.- published: 14 Jun 2014

Cassidy: "$30k-$40k to Battle Ain't About Nothing"
http://www.vladtv.com - Cassidy spoke with Battle Rap Journalist Michael Hughes about the progression of Battle Rap in this exclusive clip from his interview with VladTV. Cassidy began by acknowledging that he believes Battle Rap should get more recognition from mainstream audiences and even potentially be acknowledged in awards shows at some point. He respects everything that the combatants and league owners have done to help the culture grow, but also revealed that it would take a lot to get him back in the ring. Cassidy won't battle just anybody, and would be most interested in facing a fellow MC who has successful songs out in mainstream Hip-Hop just like him, otherwise the chances of him battling again are slim. He also stated that if Battle Rap became an official pay-per-view sport on TV then he would be interested as well. Cassidy believes that the work he put in years ago has had a direct effect on the battles that occur presently and the growth of the sport as a whole. Cassdy made one particularly interesting comment near the end of the interview when he said that getting paid $30k-$40k to battle "ain't about nothing," even though Loaded Lux getting paid $40k was a monumental step forward for the sport and those who participate in it. What are your thoughts on Cassidy's dismissal of five figure pay checks to battle?- published: 07 May 2014

Lord Jamar Discusses Young Thug's Feminine Attire
http://www.vladtv.com - Lord Jamar is never one to bite his tongue or sugarcoat his opinions on various topics, and recently spoke about his views of Young Thug and his feminine-looking clothing with VladTV. The Brand Nubian emcee stated bluntly, "I'm not feeling him." He explained how he saw a video of Young Thug wearing what has traditionally been considered women's attire, and yet had his crew in the background with guns. Jamar admitted that he's never in all of his life seen gangbangers wearing dresses. The 45-year-old emcee then addressed homosexuality in gang life, and spoke on the pervasiveness of homosexual behavior in prisons. Jamar said that prison homosexuality is like Las Vegas, with a "what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" type of mentality. Jamar believes that Young Thug has emasculated himself publicly to the point where he may feel he needs to prove his manhood in more extreme ways, such as showcasing his guns or committing violent acts. What are your thoughts on Young Thug's feminine attire, and the growing popularity of female clothing being worn by males in Hip-Hop culture?- published: 08 May 2014
