Rajesh, R/o. Vishnu Heights Apartments, Yellareddy Guda, S.R.Nagar, Hyderabad, N/o. Sai Suhas Apartment, Gandhi Nagar, Kakinada of East Godavari, who indulging in drug trafficking near jubilee hills check post and seized (15) grams of "COCAINE contraband drug" from their possession.
Brief facts of the case are that one Rotimi Olusola Kehinde @ Sola @ Sultan who is Nigerian national came to India on a Business visa and developed local contacts in India and indulged into trafficking of Narcotics drugs in Bangalore and Hyderabad. He procured the drugs from one Hakeem, Sudan National residing in New Delhi for Rs. 1000 per each gram and sold the same to his contacts for Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 depending on the need of his customers. He had met the other accused Nanduri Uday Kiran @ Bobby a film hero of Telugu film industry a drug addict who has acted in films like "Parare, Rakshakulu, Yuvarajyam, and Face book" and supplied him the drugs whoever required. Today i.e. March 24 at about 1130 hours while the accused persons were present at Jubilee hills check post and transacting a drug deal, police apprehended them and seized 15 grams of COCAINE contraband drug, Rs. 4,000 towards sale proceedings, 02 mobile phones seized from their possession.
The arrests were made under the supervision of B. LIMBA REDDY, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner's Task Force by Ch. Sridhar, Inspector of Police, East Zone Task Force Team with the assistance of SI's A. Sudhakar, S. Shekar Reddy, A. Ravi Kumar, along with the staff of the Commissioner's Task Force, East Zone Team Hyderabad City.

Portugal, officially the Portuguese Republic (Portuguese: República Portuguesa), is a unitary semi-presidential republic. During the Catholic Church oriented Reconquista, Portugal established itself as an independent kingdom from Galicia in 1139.[13] In the 15th and 16th centuries, as the result of pioneering the Age of Discovery, Portugal expanded western influence and established the first global empire,[14] becoming one of the world's major economic, political and military powers, and ultimately dividing the world with Spain.
The Portuguese Empire was the longest-lived of the modern European colonial empires, spanning almost 600 years, from the capture of Ceuta in 1415 to the handover of Macau to China in 1999 (de facto) or the granting of sovereignty to East Timor in 2002 (de jure). The empire spread throughout a vast number of territories that are now part of 53 different sovereign states, leaving a legacy of over 240 million Portuguese speakers today (making it the sixth most spoken first language) and a number of Portuguese-based creoles. Portugal's international status was greatly reduced during the 19th century, especially following the Independence of Brazil, its largest colony. After the 1910 revolution deposed the monarchy, the democratic but unstable Portuguese First Republic was established, itself being superseded by the "Estado Novo" right-wing authoritarian regime. Democracy was restored after the Portuguese Colonial War and the Carnation Revolution in 1974. The revolution in 1974 also resulted in the independence of Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Timor-Leste, Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau in 1975.
Portugal is considered a developed country with an advanced economy and high living standards, listed with the nineteenth-highest quality of life index rating in the world as of 2005. It's one of the world's most globalized and peaceful nations.[15] It is a member of the United Nations, European Union, Eurozone, OECD, NATO, WTO, Schengen Area, and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries. On 31 May 2010, Portugal became the sixth country in Europe and the eighth country in the world to legally recognize same-sex marriage on the national level. The law came into force on 5 June 2010. It is located in South-Western Europe, on the Iberian Peninsula, and it is the westernmost country of mainland Europe, being bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east. Aside from continental Portugal, the Portuguese Republic holds sovereignty over the Atlantic archipelagos of Azores and Madeira, which are autonomous regions of Portugal. The country is named after its second largest city, Porto, whose Latin name was Portus Cale.[12] The land within the borders of the current Portuguese Republic has been continually fought over and settled since prehistoric times. After a period of Roman rule followed by Visigothic and Suebian domination, in the 8th century most of the Iberian Peninsula was conquered by Moorish invaders. During the Catholic Church oriented Reconquista, Portugal established itself as an independent kingdom from Galicia in 1139.[13] In the 15th and 16th centuries, as the result of pioneering the Age of Discovery, Portugal expanded western influence and established the first global empire,[14] becoming one of the world's major economic, political and military powers, and ultimately dividing the world with Spain. The Portuguese Empire was the longest-lived of the modern European colonial empires, spanning almost 600 years, from the capture of Ceuta in 1415 to the handover of Macau to China in 1999 (de facto) or the granting of sovereignty to East Timor in 2002 (de jure). The empire spread throughout a vast number of territories that are now part of 53 different sovereign states, leaving a legacy of over 240 million Portuguese speakers today (making it the sixth most spoken first language) and a number of Portuguese-based creoles. Portugal's international status was greatly reduced during the 19th century, especially following the Independence of Brazil, its largest colony. After the 1910 revolution deposed the monarchy, the democratic but unstable Portuguese First Republic was established, itself being superseded by the "Estado Novo" right-wing authoritarian regime. Democracy was restored after the Portuguese Colonial War and the Carnation Revolution in 1974. The revolution in 1974 also resulted in the independence of Angola, Mozambique, São Tomé and Príncipe, Timor-Leste, Cape Verde and Guinea-Bissau in 1975. Portugal is considered a developed country with an advanced economy and high living standards, listed with the nineteenth-highest quality of life index rating in the world as of 2005. It's one of the world's most globalized and peaceful nations.[15] It is a member of the United Nations, European Union, Eurozone, OECD, NATO, WTO, Schengen Area, and the Community of Portuguese Language Countries. On 31 May 2010, Portugal became the sixth country in Europe and the eighth country in the world to legally recognize same-sex marriage on the national level. The law came into force on 5 June 2010. Teaser - Un día vi 10.000 elefantes -
"Un día vi 10.000 elefantes" aborda el pasado colonial de África y la memoria histórica a partir de una mezcla de cine de archivo, motion graphics, fotografía e ilustración.
La película narra desde el presente, la historia de Angono Mba, un nativo guineano, que trabaja como porteador para el director de cine español Manuel Hernández Sanjuán que realiza una expedición cinematográfica y documental de dos años (1944 a 1946) por el África colonial en busca de un misterioso lago en el que, según cuenta la leyenda, viven 10.000 elefantes.
De la obsesión del cineasta español, de las experiencias que comparten los dos personajes, de las diferentes formas de relacionarse con todo lo que les sucede y de las contradictorias maneras de expresar sus sentimientos, surge esta historia de fascinación por África, el pasado y la memoria.
Una producción de SeveralStudio en co-producción con Televisión Española (Tve) y Televisió de Catalunya (Tv3). Con el apoyo del Centro Cultural de España en Malabo (CCEM), la AECID y la Filmoteca de España.

Malaria has been one of the most deadly and intractable public health threats facing African cities. It was not until the 1940s, however, that the prevalence of malaria in Lagos was systematically studied or the first large-scale measures to protect or treat people were undertaken. Initially, this transformation was driven by the strategic military needs of the British state but the comprehensive drainage of swamps marked a wider set of political and cultural changes in the build-up to Nigerian independence.
The paper argues that the relationship between modernity and the post-colonial transition is marked by a contradictory and often overlapping set of discourses to produce what might be termed a "partial modernity" exemplified by the continuing threat of malaria in the contemporary city.

Lagos Colony was a British colonial possession centered on the port of Lagos in what is now southern Nigeria. Lagos was annexed on 6 August 1861 and declared a colony on 5 March 1862. By 1872 Lagos was a cosmopolitan trading center with a population over 60,000. In the aftermath of prolonged wars between the mainland Yoruba states, the colony established a protectorate over most of Yorubaland between 1890 and 1897. The colony and protectorate was incorporated into Southern Nigeria in February 1906, and Lagos became the capital of the protectorate of Nigeria in January 1914. Since then, Lagos has grown to become the largest city in West Africa, with an estimated metropolitan population of over 9,000,000 as of 2011.
Lagos was originally a fishing community on the north of Lagos Island, which lies in Lagos Lagoon, a large protected harbor on the Atlantic coast of Africa in the Gulf of Guinea west of the Niger River delta. The Lagoon is protected from the ocean by long sand spits that run east and west for up to 100 kilometres (62 mi) in both directions. Lagos has a tropical savanna climate with two rainy seasons. The heaviest rains fall from April to July and there is a weaker rainy season in October and November. Total annual rainfall is 1,900 millimetres (75 in). Average temperatures range from 25°C (77°F) in July to 29°C (84°F) in March.

Lagos (/ˈleɪɡɒs/ LAY-gos) is a port city and the most populous city in Nigeria. Officially, the population of Lagos was last recorded at 7,937,932. Lagos is the second fastest growing city in Africa and the 7th fastest in the world. Lagos was originally inhabited by the Awori subgroup of the Yoruba people. Under the leadership of their Olofin, the Awori moved to an island now called Iddo and then to the larger Lagos Island. In the 15th century, the Awori settlement was attacked by the Benin Empire following a quarrel, and the island became a Benin war-camp called "Eko" under Oba Orhogba, the Oba of Benin at the time.
Lagos is a huge metropolis which originated on islands separated by creeks, such as Lagos Island, fringing the southwest mouth of Lagos Lagoon whilst protected from the Atlantic Ocean by long sand spits such as Bar Beach, which stretch up to 100 km east and west of the mouth. From the beginning, Lagos has expanded on the mainland west of the lagoon and the conurbation, including Ikeja and Agege, now reaches more than 40 km north-west of Lagos Island. Some suburbs include Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry, and more local councils have recently been created, bringing the total number of local governments in Lagos to 57.
