Daniela Ruah fans, or ‘Ruahtics,’ as they prefer to call themselves, have been anxiously awaiting the announcement of the birth of the newest member of the Ruah-Olsen family for months. More importantly, they’ve been impatiently waiting for a name.
The thirty-year old star of NCIS: Los Angeles, who gave birth to her son, River Isaac Ruah Olsen, on December 30, 2013, announced the name exclusively to People Magazine this weekend.
Ruah tells People, ‘He’s healthy and strong, which is all we could ask for. We are so happy, so thankful, and feel so blessed to have brought him into the world.’
The actress is engaged to David Paul Olsen, older brother and stunt double of her on-screen partner, Eric Christian Olsen, who also just had a son, Wyatt Oliver, this past August with wife and actress, Sarah Wright Olsen.
NCIS: Los Angeles returns with an all new episode on Tuesday, January 14 on at 9:00 PM on CBS.
