According to a Feb. 27 tweet from MMA Roasted, UFC star Felice Herrig appeared on the newest episode of the "MMA Roasted Podcast" to address a slew of topics, including the rumor that she dated WWE legend CM Punk.
Herrig, 29, said on the show that she dated Punk for five to 10 years, although it's not clear if she meant that number as a joke or if she was serious.
At first, Herrig wouldn't even confirm that she ever dated Punk. As the interview went along, Hunter drew it out of her that the UFC superstar did in fact date the WWE vet at one point in time.
"Um I won't confirm or deny," Herrig said at the 45:30 mark of the show when asked by show host Adam Hunter if she ever dated Punk.
Hunter then asked Herrig how long she dated Punk for if she "maybe" dated him, and she shot back with a surprising answer.
"Five or 10 years. Somewhere in the middle," Herrig said.
Herrig wouldn't elaborate on her past relationship with Punk, as she asked Hunter to move on to the next question.
Analysis: CM Punk was in a relationship with former WWE diva Beth Phoenix up until late-2011.
Shortly after their relationship ended, it appeared that Punk began hitting up Herrig on Twitter.
When Herrig told her Twitter followers that she was sending out signed photos of herself, Punk responded that he wanted one for his own personal collection.
"@feliceherrig I want stuff," Punk wrote to Herrig on Twitter.
Punk and Herrig had a lot of back-and-forth communication on Twitter in the winter of 2011, so fight fans might speculate that was when the two were seeing each other.
Since of Oct. of 2013, Punk has been linked to current WWE diva AJ Lee.
