A Microsoft Xbox 360 E holiday bundle is the latest "Deal of the Day" from Amazon.com website, just ahead of the Black Friday 2013 shopping sales. The latest deal sees the 360 discounted by 40% off, not only ahead of the big "Cyber Week" of deals on the way, but also before the new Xbox One consoles start arriving to video game fans.
A report from Polygon.com on Oct. 28 indicates that the Xbox 360 bundle deal is priced at $239. It comes with the Kinect motion sensor accessory, as well as three games: Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports Season Two and Forza Horizon. The console bundle deal normally sells for $399.99, giving it a 40% savings for those savvy shoppers who decide to pick one up. The console is the 250GB version of the current generation model and also includes a wireless controller.
Black Friday 2013 is just about a month away, although Amazon tends to hold an entire Cyber week of deals running through the shopping day, and through Cyber Monday. The latest Black Friday arrives on Nov. 29, a day after Thanksgiving 2013. Meanwhile, the Xbox 360 console will soon be "outdated," as the successor, the Xbox One, is due out on Nov. 22, just a week before Black Friday. Finding one in stores will be a tough task, and it's quite possible the new consoles will show up for sale on eBay and Amazon at higher-than-retail prices.
For now though, any parents or gift givers who want to make sure they have a great holiday present for someone who doesn't have a video game system, the Xbox 360 with a Kinect, controller and three games to start with seems to be a smart purchase at $239.
