Fleetwood Mac's John McVie has cancer
Fleetwood Mac bass guitarist John McVie has been diagnosed with cancer. The band has canceled the Australian and New Zealand leg of its world tour so that he can undergo treatment.

Fleetwood Mac have cancelled their upcoming 14-day tour of Australia and New Zealand due to illness.
The band announced that John McVie, one of the founding members of the group, is scheduled to undergo treatment for cancer.
"We hope our Australian and New Zealand fans, as well as Fleetwood Mac fans everywhere, will join us in wishing John and his family all the best.”

The band was set to begin its Australian tour in Sydney at the Entertainment Centre on November 10, followed by a two-week tour taking in Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, the Hunter Valley and Geelong.
Fleetwood Mac have just completed the European leg of a world tour in support of their latest release, an EP titled Extended Play.
Shortly after the announcement, fans tweeted to wish bassist John McVie well.
