Looted Nazi artworks recovered

The discovery of nearly 1500 paintings, including works by Picasso and Matisse, looted by the Nazis was discovered during a 2011 search in an apartment belonging to Cornelius Gurlitt, the octogenarian son of art collector Hildebrand Gurlitt, a prosecutor said.
