Some expressed cynicism while others have rushed to congratulate Kevin Rudd on his change of heart on same-sex marriage.
Rudd’s spectacular turn around has drawn criticism from opponents suggesting that it’s just another attention-seeking ploy.

While Rudd has been flying under the radar after he failed to run for the leadership again, conversely his reversal has reopened the debate on gay marriage – and put extra heat on Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott to speak out now or forever hold their peace.
Your invitation to the marriage of the year is here in our video animation and the wedding band features the fine talents of resident songbird Denis Carnahan.

I don't think Kev's after the leadership. Why would he? For a few months of electioneering before being booted out?
I think he's just slow to the party. Not as slow as Julia and Tony, but slow enough in this day and age.

He loves to keep flogging the same old dead horse.
Lack of imagination maybe?

Just another pathetic effort to shore up some more votes in his electorate. At least he now has a chance to survive the anger of the electorate unlike many of the others from his ALP disaster. From 'Milky Bar Kid' to 'Lone man wolf' that's our Kevin 07 - now all of you who voted for him and his hopeless ALP Govt put your hands up so we can call in help for you.

Freshen it up a bit, dude.
Even the same cartoon image recycled over and over. Same pitch, same limp "humor".

"Freshen it up a bit, dude"
From the person who posts the same meaningless rants day after day - couldn't even restrain herself from trying to score political points in reponse to the Hazel Hawke obituary.
I guess showing a bit of class and maturity was never a strong point for the Greens and their supporters.

I think kev07 still has a bit of unresolved emotion about being sacked. to be honest, kev07 and his wife have made a killing by siphoning millions of public expenditure money into their family business interests..... which kinda puts a big hole in the ALP "redistributing the wealth" argument...
it might be time for kev07 to leave politics ungracefully

Oh, yeah, and it's really classy to show a "funny" animation of Julia stabbing Kevin in the back for .... FIVE YEARS

So Sarajane thinks animation isn't art and should not exist beyond a 24 hour newscycle. If the animation of Truthful Julia stabbing Kevin 07 is worth reshowing why not? if we all thought like Sarajane the great art works of past centuries would be confined to the rubbish bin. But I bet she still thinks any arty stuff done by community activists is ok when done with a spray can. Only Greens voters can explain this strange logic.......
