Allan Wu (Chinese: 吴振天; pinyin: Wú Zhèntiān, previously known as Chinese: 吴振宇; pinyin: Wú Zhènyù, born 11 June 1972) is a Singapore-based Chinese-American actor and MTV Asia VJ who is recognized by many people as the host of the Asian version of The Amazing Race.
Wu decided to change his Chinese name because his name is too similar to Hong Kong film star Francis Ng (Chinese: 吳鎮宇; pinyin: Wú Zhènyù).
Allan is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley but found difficulty in maintaining interest in his course. He eventually discovered his desire to become an actor after an accident made him reassess his life. He had a modelling stint for the Ford agency. He also participated in an episode of the reality competition series Fear Factor, where he placed 2nd. He moved to Hong Kong where he worked as an actor.
Despite struggling with limited knowledge of Mandarin and Cantonese, MTV Taiwan gave him a stint as a VJ, during which he co-hosted a Christmas concert. Acting jobs soon followed as he co-starred in the television drama series Wu Yan De Ai for Singapore's MediaCorp and followed by a role in the Jack Neo-directed romantic comedy film I Do, I Do.
Heinrich Lichner (6 March 1829 – 7 January 1898) was a prolific German composer, best known today for his teaching pieces - simple piano works written for students. He was born in Harpersdorf, Silesia. His sonatinas, including Opp. 4, 49, and 66 (among others) are in a light, fluent classical style, although the harmony occasionally betrays the influence of romanticism. He was also a director and organist - he worked as organist at the church of the 11,000 virgins, and spent a part of his life as the director of a saengerbund (choral festival) in Breslau, where he died.

Friedrich Daniel Rudolf Kuhlau (11 September 1786 – 12 March 1832) was a German-Danish composer during the Classical and Romantic periods. He was a central figure of the Danish Golden Age.
He is immortalized in Danish cultural history through his music for Elverhøj, the first true work of Danish National Romanticism and a concealed tribute to the absolute monarchy. To this day it is Kuhlau's version of this melody which is the definitive arrangement.
During his lifetime, he was known primarily as a concert pianist and composer of Danish opera, but was responsible for introducing many of Beethoven's works, which he greatly admired, to Copenhagen audiences. Considering that his house burned down destroying all of his unpublished manuscripts, he was a prolific composer leaving more than 200 published works in most genres.
Kuhlau was born on 11 September 1786 just south of Lüneburg in Uelzen district of Lower Saxony. At the age of seven, he lost his right eye when he slipped on ice and fell. His father, grandfather, and uncle were military oboists. Even though Kuhlau was born to a poor family, his parents managed to pay for piano lessons. Later he studied the piano in Hamburg where he also had his debut as a pianist in 1804.
When the life inside no doubt has died.
And you've turn your head away.
You tried to pay, but at the end of the day, it 's you again, alone.
Alone, confined. The mess in your mind.
When you can't relate to them.
You've reaped and sown, but little is known by those who aren't alone.
Why should a man learn not again what he has learned before?
He's overcome but must succumb to what he's living for.
He tried and tried. All those survived. He missed. He's fallen short.
Alien Eye
one alien eye
broken over easy running slightly to the right
Shirley has a secret sometime, someplace, somewhere
blue, gray, trailing don't forget it
bloody, bloody, bloody mess it's true
wisecracking, grinning, laughing, wicked you
never been old, never been born
delivered to the door in trousers and a shirt
Shirley has a secret sometime, someplace, somewhere
now I don't ask and I don't tell
I knew on it on the fateful day in line at the bank
I'm spilling and I'm dropping and I'm blushing like a schoolgirl
I must be possessed
one alien eye
simple and he's stealing
kisses in my daydream telling what he'll do
Shirley has a secret sometime, someplace, somewhere
clear as day that I better stay away
but I can't stop thinking
one hand, one look in his steely grip
and he leans in close and he says hold still
hold still
never been old, never been born
I knew on it on the fateful day in line at the bank
I'm spilling and I'm dropping and I'm blushing like a schoolgirl
