I gotta feeling that tonights gonna be a good night
That tonights gonna be a good night
That Shabbats gonna be a good, good night (4x)
Tonights the night, Lets Live it up
No Need for money, Lets save it up
Go out and dance it, Like oh my god
Jump off the Sofa, Turn TV off, off
I know that well have a ball
If we get down and go out and just lose it all
I feel stressed out, I wanna let it go
Lets go home and eat a huge matzo ball
Lets do it, lets do it, lets do it
Lets do it, lets do it, lets do it
Live it up
I gotta feeling that tonights gonna be a good night
That tonights gonna be a good night
That Shabbats gonna be a good, good night
Fill up my cup, mazaltov
Look at her lighting, Shell bless it up
Friends all around, Lets turn that frown
Shabbat each Friday and so well do it again
Here we come, Here we go, We got our challah
Easy come, easy go, you betta Holla! Holla!
Family Talk, Body Rock, Rock it dont stop
Round and round, up and down, around the clock
Oh what a feeling oh tonight was such a good night
Oh tonight was such a good night

On Shabbath, our speech should pertain to the holiness of the day. This holiness is a unique recognition of the Lordship of our Creator over His creation. We do this by willfuly surrendering back to the Creator the dominion over creation which He granted us through the work week, even our very speech. In this way the people of Israel, on a national level, give witness to the nations as to the dependence of all existence upon the Sustainer of existence. He is the Singular Authority over all works. At His command creation was brought forth, and at His command we abstain from exercising mastery over His creation, submitting ourselves to His Will, as to when we may work for our livelihoods, and when we must cease from the ways of the world by totally entrusting ourselves to Him alone for our livelihood - with certainty that He is Sufficient to provide.

Shabbat Night Live - February 8 2013
The transformation of a country milkmaid -- calloused hands, chapped lips, and filthy feet -- to the delicately painted, primped and perfumed bride of the king is not a path bordered by lilies and strewn with rose petals. It is emotionally charged, physically painful, and intellectually challenging.
The Persian Emperor, King Ahasuerus searches his empire from India to Ethiopia in his attempt to replace his rebellious queen Vashti. Little does he know that his choice for a bride would be orchestrated from the very throne room in Heaven to effect the deliverance of the Jewish people from complete annihilation. Hadassah, a young Jewish girl, risks her life -- realizing that the very reason for her being chosen as the bride of the king may well be "for such a time as this."
Join Michael Rood in the tent of Abraham as he propounds the "no pain, no gain" reality that faced every milkmaid who envied the honor of being the bride of the king.

Shabbat Night Live! with Michael Rood and special guest Andrew Hodkinson - February 1, 2013
The empire of Ahasuerus spanned from Ethiopia to India. He ruled over 127 kingdoms. But one night at the end of a six-month "world's fair," an incident transpired at the closing banquet that threatened to undermine the stability and peaceful future for everyone in the kingdom. Ahasuerus and the wise men of Babylon were confronted with an issue that still threatens every marriage in the world today.
Join Michael Rood in the tent of Abraham as he considers the proposals of the wise men of old while stripping away 2,000 years of Greek culture and revealing the majesty and grandeur of the Persian Empire in the days of Mordechai the Jew. Do not miss episode 1 in the 5-part series Purim: the Making of a King's Bride!
http://aRoodAwakening.tv This week on SNL we are excited to welcome musical guest Andrew Hodkinson. Andrew lives in Durban, South Africa. In 2005, his ideas of traditional Christian ministry were shaken as he encountered the Torah* and the Hebrew Roots of his faith. Understanding the key theme of restoration of both Jew and Christian in a Jewish Messiah, he carries a vision to see both groups united and looks for the common ground of both people.

Shabbat Night Live - February, 15 2013 - Episode 3 of the Purim Series by Michael Rood
This week on SNL, Episode 3 of "Purim: The Making of a King's Bride" by Michael Rood
This Friday: You Are Going To Put That Gallows Where?
The story of Purim illustrates the perils and provisions of the King's bride -- an analogy of bride of Messiah living under the death sentence of "Mystery Babylon" at the end of the age. As the storm clouds lower in the sky and once common freedoms fade like the setting sun of liberty, the bride of Messiah, the true servants and disciples of Yeshua, will soon realize that they, like the king's bride Hadassah, were born "for such a time as this."

Passover - Living Among Pagans on Shabbat Night Live
From Genesis 9 to Exodus 1, the most repeated phrase in the Hebrew Scriptures constantly reminds us that the first Canaanites were dwelling in the land promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Those who took on the worship of their pagan gods were likewise cursed, and the only salvation for the sons of Abraham was to come out from among them and be holy. More than 255 years after the children of Israel went down into Egypt, Moses reminded us with the utmost gravity that we would ONLY stay in the land as long as we kept ourselves from the abomination of the pagans. This lesson has been completely missed by paganized Gentile churchianity, and the ONLY thing that has kept the god of this age from completely enslaving the planet is the abundant mercy of the Almighty restraining the hand of judgment.
Join Michael Rood in the tent of Abraham as we continue the 5 part series Passover: the Path to Freedom with episode 2 - Living Among Pagans.

Shabbat Night Live! with Michael Rood and special guest Arthur Bailey - January 18, 2013
When he saw the Messiah returning from forty days in the wilderness, did John the Baptist proclaim, "Behold the Cow of God, which takes away the sin of the world!"?
Was Eusebius correct when he said the Messiah's ministry was three-and-a-half years long? What do these questions have to do with each other, and what do they have to do with the most destructive forgery of all time?
Tune into this week's Shabbat Night Live and find out!
