The great Rudolf Nureyev also made several restylings and contributions to the choreography . La Bayadere takes place in the Royal India The ballet is about the drama of a temple dancer (bayadère), Nikiya, who is loved by Solor, a noble warrior. 5 year old Kaylee doing Classical Ballet dance (Russian Ballet trained) Level 1/2
5 year old Kaylee takes 3 hours a week of Classical Russian Ballet. This is very helpful for her rythmic, artistic gymnastics and competitive dance. Her favorite part of Ballet is center work. She loves jumping, leaping and turning. This is her second year of classical ballet. Kaylee is not taking class here with her regular ballet teachers. She is just having a private with another ballet teacher at another studio so we could film her. She has never worked with Ms. Kirsten doing ballet before so some parts of this class she was doing things she has never tried before. Prior to this video being made Kaylee was trained by her wonderful teachers Tatiana Tchekacheva and Valeri Tchekachev. "Music: Kevin MacLeod"

Monotones II rehearsal - The Royal Ballet
Edward Watson, Marianela Nuñez and Federico Bonelli rehearse Frederick Ashton's Monotones II with Anthony Dowell and Lyn Wallis. Find out more at www.roh.org.uk Monotones II will be screened in cinemas this Summer. During these screenings, Nehemiah Kish will replace Federico Bonelli. Frederick Ashton distilled the exquisite tranquility of Erik Satie's pieces in Monotones I and II, which display some of his most modernist choreography. Monotones II was created first and given its premiere at the Royal Opera House in 1965, accompanied by Satie's Trois Gymnopédies. Ashton created a second piece to Satie's Trois Gnossiennes (Monotones I), and the two were presented together the following year. Satie's Préludes d'Eginhard was played as an overture. Monotones I opens with a slow, serene pas de trois in a wonderful example of adagio classicism. The dancers remain on stage throughout the entire work, with their smooth lines of movement unbroken. Monotones II features another pas de trois that mirrors the controlled movements of the first. Satie's delicate music, coupled with Ashton's beautiful choreography, is wonderfully haunting.

Kerbal Space Program - #051 - Orbital Ballet
Welcome back to Kerbal Space Program! In KSP, you're responsible for building, launching and flying rockets in your own fledgling space program on planet Kerbin. The newest update to Kerbal Space Program version 0.18 adds more rocket parts, spacecraft docking and an overhauled computer guidance system. In part two of our attempted rendezvous and docking with a space station, I start to understand what all the little markers and guidance thingamabobs mean and how to use them to catch up to my target. Will I be able to accurately match orbits or will I go smashing through an important solar panel at 600 meters-per-second? Thanks for watching!
