  Angel Tompkins (born December 20, 1942) is an American actress and Golden Globe nominee, who appeared in several films and television shows.
  Angel Tompkins was a model in the Chicago area before being discovered by Woody Allen who sent her to Universal. She was signed and became part of the last Universal Contract Players. She started her television and film acting career in the late 1960s. She made her major film debut as the seductive blonde who came between husband and wife, Elliott Gould and Brenda Vaccaro, in the comedy I Love My Wife (1970) and was nominated for a Golden Globe.
  She appeared in Prime Cut (1972) with co-stars Gene Hackman and Lee Marvin and newcomer Sissy Spacek as a co-star. She also appeared with Anthony Quinn in The Don Is Dead (1973), with former child star, Jay North in The Teacher (1974), and with Charles Bronson in Murphy's Law (1986). Tompkins was featured in the pictorial "Angel" in the February 1972 edition of Playboy Magazine; subsequently the magazine used her in three more editions, all presumably related to that film promotion.

  Brock Peters
  Brock Peters (July 2, 1927 – August 23, 2005) was an American actor, best known for playing the role of Tom Robinson in the 1962 film To Kill a Mockingbird. He also gained recognition among Star Trek fans for his portrayals of Fleet Admiral Cartwright in two of the Star Trek feature films and Joseph Sisko, father of Benjamin Sisko, in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. He is also remembered for his role as Hatcher in Soylent Green.
  Peters was born George Fisher in New York City, the son of Alma A. (née Norford) and Sonnie Fisher, a sailor. He was of African descent. Peters set his sights on a show business career early on, at age 10. A product of New York's famed High School of Music and Art, Peters initially fielded more odd jobs than acting jobs as he worked his way up from Harlem poverty. Landing a stage role in Porgy and Bess in 1949, he quit physical education studies at City College of New York and went on tour with the opera.
  Peters made his film debut in Carmen Jones in 1954, but began to make a name for himself in such films as To Kill a Mockingbird and The L-Shaped Room. He received a Tony nomination for his starring stint in Broadway's Lost in the Stars.

  Dean Jagger
  Ira Dean Jagger (November 7, 1903 – February 5, 1991) was film actor who received an Academy Award for his role in Henry King's Twelve O'Clock High (1949).
  Born in Columbus Grove, Ohio, Jagger made his film debut in The Woman from Hell (1929) with Mary Astor. He became a successful character actor, without becoming a major star, and appeared in almost 100 films in a career that lasted until shortly before his death.
  Jagger made his breakthrough to major roles in film with his portrayal of Brigham Young in Brigham Young (1940). According to George D. Pyper, a technical consultant on the film who had personally known Brigham Young, said that Jagger not only resembled Young, he also spoke like him and had many of his mannerisms.
  Jagger then played prominent roles in Western Union (1941), Sister Kenny (1946) and Raoul Walsh's Western neo-noir Pursued (1947).
  He received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Twelve O'Clock High (1949). In the film he played the middle-aged adjutant Major Stovall, who acts as an advisor to the commander General Savage (Gregory Peck), and is tasked with writing letters to the next of kin of slain airmen. He appeared in the biblical epic The Robe (1953) as the weaver Justus of Cana, "whose words were like his work: simple, lasting, and strong," as Marcellus Gallio (Richard Burton) put it later in the film.

  Henry Silva (born 1927) is an American film and television actor.
  Silva was born in Brooklyn, New York of Sicilian and Spanish descent.
  He grew up in Harlem and quit school when he was 13 years old to attend drama classes, supporting himself as a dishwasher and waiter in a Manhattan hotel. By 1955, Silva felt ready to audition for the Actors Studio. He was one of five students chosen out of more than 2,500 applicants. When the Studio staged Michael V. Gazzo's play, A Hatful of Rain as a classroom project, it proved so successful that it was presented on Broadway, with students Ben Gazzara, Shelley Winters, Harry Guardino, Tony Franciosa, and Silva in key roles. Silva also appeared in the play's film version.
  In Hollywood, he played a succession of villains in films including The Tall T, The Bravados, Green Mansions, Johnny Cool, and the original The Manchurian Candidate. He was one of the 11 casino robbers in the 1960 Rat Pack caper film Ocean's 11.
  He had a comic role as one of the stepbrothers in the 1960 Jerry Lewis film Cinderfella, a parody of Cinderella with Lewis in the title role, and appeared in starring roles in two filmed episodes of The Outer Limits, a science-fiction anthology television series in the United States.

  John Thomas Sayles (born September 28, 1950) is an American independent film director, screenwriter and author.
  Sayles was born in Schenectady, New York, the son of Mary (née Rausch), a teacher, and Donald John Sayles, a school administrator. He was raised Catholic and took to labeling himself "a Catholic atheist".^{[citation needed]} Both of Sayles's parents were of half-Irish descent.
  Like Martin Scorsese and James Cameron, among others, Sayles began his film career working with Roger Corman. Sayles went on to fund his first film, Return of the Secaucus 7, with $30,000 he had in the bank from writing scripts for Corman.^{[citation needed]} He set the film in a large house so that he did not have to travel to or get permits for different locations, set it over a three-day weekend to limit costume changes, and wrote about people his age so that he could have his friends act in it. In November 1997, the National Film Preservation Board announced that Return of the Secaucus 7 would be one of the 25 films selected that year for preservation in the National Film Registry at the Library of Congress.

  Bologna was born in Brooklyn, New York. He attended Brown University, where he majored in art history. After a hitch with the Marines, Bologna was hired to produce and direct Manhattan-based TV commercials.
  The actor has a long history in film and television. His breakthrough film, Lovers and Other Strangers, written with his wife Renée Taylor, was based on the true-life circumstances of organizing a wedding on short notice with the involvement of his Italian extended family and Renee's Jewish clan. Several relatives performed as extras in the final cut. A year later, in 1971, the couple again collaborated to write and perform in the movie Made for Each Other.
  Bologna stayed close with his old-neighborhood aunts and uncles after becoming successful. Two of them were slightly famous on their own: his Uncle Pat was "Blacky the Bootblack", whom Joseph Kennedy credited as his main influence when he sold all of his stock holdings in the summer of 1929 (the market crashed in October), and his aunt Pauline was one of the best-known chefs to the stars, working for Jackie Gleason, Burt Reynolds and many other luminaries.

  Lewis Teague (born 8 March 1938 in Brooklyn, New York) is a film director, whose work includes Alligator, Cat's Eye, Cujo, The Dukes of Hazzard: Reunion!, Navy SEALs and The Triangle.
  Teague was born on March 8, 1938, in Brooklyn, NY. He apprenticed with Sydney Pollack at Universal Television, and was a production manager on the rock concert documentary Woodstock (1970).
  Teague was employed by Roger Corman throughout the 1970s, where he handled second-unit director chores on Death Race 2000 (1975), Thunder and Lightning (1977) and Avalanche (1978). Teague also served as an editor for Monte Hellman's Cockfighter (1974) and Jonathan Demme's Crazy Mama (1975). In 1976, he edited the Oscar-winning short documentary Number Our Days. Later, he was the second-unit director on Samuel Fuller's World War II movie, The Big Red One (1980).
  Teague made his feature debut as the co-director of Dirty O'Neil (1974). He followed this with the Depression-era crime exploitation movie The Lady in Red (1979), which he also edited. The horror-creature feature Alligator (1980) and the urban vigilante film Fighting Back (1980) (TV) followed. Teague directed two Stephen King adaptations in the 1980s, Cujo (1983) and the anthology film Cat's Eye (1985). His other films include The Jewel of the Nile (1985), the police comedy Collision Course (1989), the action movie Navy Seals (1990), the science fiction offering Wedlock (1991) and the made-for-TV movie The Triangle (2001) (TV). In addition to his film work, Teague has directed episodes of such TV shows as "The Alfred Hitchcock Hour" (1962), "Barnaby Jones" (1973), "Shannon's Deal" (1990), "Profiler" (1996) and "Nash Bridges" (1996). After a five-year absence from directing, Teague directed the dramatic short Cante Jondo (2007).

  Forster was born Robert Wallace Foster, Jr. in Rochester, New York, the son of Grace Dorothy (née Montanarella) and Robert Wallace Foster, Sr., who worked as an elephant trainer for the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and later as an executive for a baking supply company. His mother was Italian American and his father was of English and Irish ancestry. The two divorced in 1949. As a tribute to his father, Forster hung one of his father's Barnum & Bailey Circus posters in the office of his character "Max Cherry" in the Quentin Tarantino film Jackie Brown.
  Forster completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in history at the University of Rochester, where he starred in student dramatic performances such as Bye Bye Birdie and, after initially intending to go on to study law, instead decided to forego his future legal career in favor of pursuing drama.   In May 2008, she signed a contract for the CBS soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful in the recast role of Beth Logan. Her first appearance was on June 18, 2008. This marked her second daytime drama series. In 2000, she played the role of Maureen "Bonnie" Lockhart on the NBC daytime drama Days of Our Lives. The role was later played by Judi Evans.

  Roger Joseph Ebert ( /ˈiːbərt/; born June 18, 1942) is an American journalist, film critic and screenwriter. He is the first film critic to win a Pulitzer Prize for Criticism.
  Ebert is known for his film review column (appearing in the Chicago Sun-Times since 1967, and later online) and for the television programs Sneak Previews, At the Movies with Gene Siskel and Roger Ebert, and Siskel and Ebert and The Movies, all of which he co-hosted for a combined 23 years with Gene Siskel. After Siskel's death in 1999, Ebert teamed with Richard Roeper for the television series Ebert & Roeper & the Movies, which began airing in 2000. Although his name remained in the title, Ebert did not appear on the show after mid-2006 after he suffered post-surgical complications related to thyroid cancer, leaving him unable to speak. Ebert ended his association with the show in July 2008, but in February 2009 he stated that he and Roeper would continue their work on a new show. Ebert's current show, Ebert Presents: At the Movies, premiered on January 21, 2011, with Ebert contributing a review voiced by someone else in a brief segment called "Roger's Office".

  Sue Lyon (born July 10, 1946 in Davenport, Iowa) is an American actress.
  Sue Lyon was 14 years old when she was cast in the role of Dolores "Lolita" Haze, the sexually charged adolescent and the object of an older man's obsessions in Stanley Kubrick's 1962 film, Lolita. She was chosen for the role partly because her curvy figure suggested an older adolescent. Based on the Vladimir Nabokov novel of the same name, Kubrick's Lolita, though a toned-down version of the book (Lolita is only 12 at the beginning of the novel and 17 at the end), was nonetheless one of the most controversial films of its day. Lyon was 16 when the film premiered in September 1962. She became an instant celebrity and won a Golden Globe Award for Most Promising Newcomer – Female. Despite her inexperience, she was praised for holding her own in scenes with the three top-billed stars of the film, James Mason, Shelley Winters, and Peter Sellers.
  Sue Lyon recorded two songs for the MGM-Seven Arts Presentation of Harris-Kubrick's "Lolita" on an MGM 45 rpm record, Side-A, "Lolita Ya Ya" (Riddle-Harris) and Side-B, "Turn Off the Moon" (Stillman-Harris).

  Sydney Lassick (July 23, 1922 – April 12, 2003) was an American actor perhaps best known for his role as Charlie Cheswick in the feature film One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Lassick's first name was sometimes spelled Sidney.
  He was born in Chicago, Illinois to Russian-Jewish immigrants. He died from complications of diabetes, at age 80 in Los Angeles, California. His only survivor was an elder sister. Sydney Lassick was buried in a simple Jewish service, in the southwest Maimonides section, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.

  Vincent Canby (July 27, 1924 – October 15, 2000) was an American film critic who became the chief film critic for The New York Times in 1969 and reviewed more than 1000 films during his tenure there.
  Canby was born in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Katharine Anne (née Vincent) and Lloyd Canby. He attended a boarding school with the novelist William Styron, and the two became friends. He introduced Styron to the works of E.B. White and Ernest Hemingway, and the pair hitchhiked from their Christ Church, Virginia boarding school to Richmond, Virginia to buy Hemingway's For Whom the Bell Tolls. After war service in the Pacific he attended the Dartmouth College and then was employed as a film critic by Variety for six years.
  Canby was an enthusiastic supporter of many filmmakers, notably Woody Allen, who credited Canby's rave review of Take The Money and Run as a crucial point in his career. He was also heavily critical of some otherwise acclaimed films, such as Rocky, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Jaws, Patton, Night of the Living Dead, Once Upon a Time in America, Chinatown, After Hours, Blazing Saddles, A Christmas Story, Witness, Mask, The Natural, Rain Man, The Exorcist, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest,Deliverance, The Godfather Part II and Alien. In the early 1990s, Canby switched his attention from film to theatre; he was named the chief theatre critic in 1994.
