Dunfermline Abbey Fife Scotland
Tour Scotland video of photograph of Dunfermline Abbey on visit to West Fife. Dunfermline Abbey is a Church of Scotland Parish Church. The church occupies the site of the ancient chancel and transepts of a large medieval Benedictine abbey, which was sacked in 1560 during the Scottish Reformation and permitted to fall into disrepair. Part of the old abbey church continued in use at that time and some parts of the abbey infrastructure still remain to this day. Dunfermline Abbey is one of Scotland's most important cultural sites. The Benedictine Abbey of the Holy Trinity and St Margaret, was founded in 1128 by King David I of Scotland, but the monastic establishment was based on an earlier foundation dating back to the reign of King Malcolm Canmore. Saint Margaret of Scotland was buried here in 1093; on 19th June 1250. King Robert the Bruce was buried, in 1329, in the choir, now the site of the present parish church. Bruce's heart rests in Melrose, but his bones lie in Dunfermline Abbey, where, after the discovery of the skeleton in 1818, they were reinterred with fitting pomp below the pulpit of the New church. In 1891 the pulpit was moved back and a monumental brass inserted in the floor to indicate the royal vault. A small selection of my personal photographs shot on small group tours of Scotland.

Fife Coastal railway ((Part 3)) Methil Leven To St andrews SQ2009 Cameron Brig
In 1854 the Leven Railway opened, linking the town with Thornton Junction on the Edinburgh - Aberdeen main line. This helped it to become a tourist resort popular with visitors from the west of Scotland, and particularly Glasgow. Later in the 19th century the Leven Railway became part of a loop line of the North British Railway linking Thornton Junction and Leuchars Junction via St Andrews. The railway between Leven and St Andrews closed in 1964/65. The railway between Leven and Thornton Junction closed to freight in 1966 and passengers in 1969. A project into the reopening of the line is under consideration. See Leven rail link.en.wikipedia.org

Culross Abbey Fife Scotland
Tour Scotland wee video of photographs of the ruins of Culross Abbey on visit to West Fife. This Scottish abbey was founded in 1217 by Malcolm I, Earl of Fife, and was first colonised by monks from Kinloss Abbey. The original 13th century abbey was cruciform in plan, without aisles. By the late 15th century the lay brothers had left, and the abbey community consisted of only choir-monks. The western half of the abbey was therefore abandoned, and the nave was demolished around 1500. In 1633 the east choir of the abbey was taken over for use as a parish church, while the adjoining buildings fell into decay. A small selection of my personal photographs shot on small group tours of Scotland.

The Old Guard Fife & Drum Corps - The Virginia Tattoo (2007)
The 3rd US Infantry, traditionally known as "The Old Guard," is the oldest active-duty infantry unit in the Army, serving our nation since 1784. The Old Guard is the Army's official ceremonial unit and escort to the president, and it also provides security for Washington, DC, in time of national emergency or civil disturbance. The United States Army Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps The unit received its unique name from Gen. Winfield Scott during a victory parade at Mexico City in 1847 following its valorous performance in the Mexican War. Fifty campaign streamers attest to the 3rd Infantry's long history of service, which spans from the Battle of Fallen Timbers to World War II and Vietnam. Since World War II, The Old Guard has served as the official Army Honor Guard and escort to the president. In that capacity, 3rd Infantry soldiers are responsible for the conduct of military ceremonies at the White House, the Pentagon, national memorials and elsewhere in the nation's capital. In addition, soldiers of The Old Guard maintain a 24-hour vigil at the Tomb of the Unknowns, provide military funeral escorts at Arlington National Cemetery and participate in parades at Fort Myer and Fort Lesley J. McNair. Along with these duties, The Old Guard presents historic theatrical productions to audiences in the Washington, DC, area. One show, "Twilight Tattoo, " is presented weekly during the summer at the White House Ellipse. The show is free and open to the public. The Old Guard annually ...

Glee- Launch Shoot Cut (Director's Cut- Matt Fife)
Glee is a 20th Century Fox Show, created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan (all Rights Reserved). Music used in the piece includes DON'T STOP BELIEVING by Vitamin String Quartet and MR. BLUE SKY by the Delgados.
Cut produced by Matt Fife
Directors Matt Fife and Julio Cabral, Cinematography by Crash and Kim Haun (Shot on 35mm). An infinite amount of detail goes into the making of a Ryan Murphy show. This GLEE campaign sought to match and extend the look and tone of the pilot episode. My day began with the comedic genius of Jane Lynch, building a face off between Coach Sue (Lynch) and Glee Club Leader Will (Matthew Morrison). After the office set up, my unit quickly moved outdoors with Sue tormenting her Cheerios during a slow jog around the track. Throughout the day, our two units picked up additional photography and wild lines from the cast. After shooting three commercials in the morning, I shot the young cast in the hallway witha moving soft light that fell off to shadow. We had a great time creating visual vignettes that showcased both the attributes of these richly written characters, and the talents of a warm and receptive cast.

Fast Forward - Summer 2010
Autumn is here, it's already becoming too cold to ride outside and what was the best summer of my life now seems like years ago.
I spent almost every penny I earned this year on a trip somewhere, from driving down the country to meet up with friends, to hopping on a plane to ride a contest.
People argue that I have 'nothing to show' from the money I spent, but this video is priceless to me and I'll have these memories forever, I haven't even scratched the surface of what's to be seen in this world, but even limiting myself to what I could afford at the time was so much fun!
This video is a compilation of my favourite never seen before images, aswell as leftover clips whilst filming for various web videos between July - October 2010 in the following locations:
Guildford, UK
Avoriaz, France
Reigate, UK
Farnborough, UK
Montpellier, France

Directors Jason Cacioppo and Adam Dugas release their kaleidoscopic new music video for Fischerspooner's song "The Best Revenge."
With dancers popping on the screen like a digital Busby Berkeley fun house, the video captures the energy and dynamism of the eclectic electronic performance group. The choreography by Vanessa Walters and wardrobe by Elise Fife were created for the band's show "Between Worlds," which toured the United States and Europe in 2009. "The Best Revenge" is featured on Fischerspooner's latest album Entertainment (2009).
Like the directors' first collaboration with the band for the song "We Are Electric," the video was shot in the historic Performing Garage in New York City using the Red One camera. "We Are Electric" won raves for its ravishing visuals and was included in the film festival "A Shaded View on Fashion Film" at the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
"The Best Revenge" was given its world premiere in the Hayden Planetarium at the Museum of Natural History on January 8, 2010.
Jason Cacioppo is a cinematographer, director, and editor. He is the founder and principal of Subvoyant, a full-service production and post-production facility in New York.
Adam Dugas is an Singer/Actor/Writer/Producer/Director based in New York City. He is the creator of Chaos & Candy, a non-traditional holiday extravaganza, and was a founding member of The Citizens Band.
