In the year 1971 the Indian army has been sent to a deserted place in Longewala region of Punjab to war with the Pakistani Army. Under the command of Major Kuldeep Singh (Sunny Deol), 120 Indian soldiers patrol the desert to keep a check on the Pakistani army. But the Pakistani battalion is over 2000 soldiers strong, consisting of war tanks and all the ammunition needed to crush the Indian army. Now, 120 soldiers have to hold an entire night against 2000 Pakistani soldiers till help arrives in the morning. The Higher command orders Major Kuldeep Singh to retreat as it was impossible to fight. Major Kuldeep Singh and his battalion refuse to fall back and stand their ground to fight hordes of enemies till death. With every soldier having a tale to tell, a family to love, they must protect their country at any cost and fight to supremacy and win the Indo-Pak war. Illegal organ traffickers persuaded him that after the operating table, life would be simple, rich and pain-free. Trusting these lies, he risked death and imprisonment for dreams of a better life. Meanwhile, Danish patient Mads eagerly awaits a kidney transplant. His chances of survival dwindle by 20% each year. David currently works as a corporate strategy consultant and is a co-founder of Ethical Ocean, an e-commerce marketplace for the worlds top fair-trade, eco-friendly and sweatshop free products. This is the first of 5 episodes of this tribute to the Border Collie by Scottish filmmaker, Jim Closs. Filmed over a period of 4 years, some at the Border Collie Rescue York centre. This film was awarded 4 stars in the 2011 International Association of Cinematographers competition and has been accepted by Scottish Screen Archive, National Library of Scotland, to be held in its archives for posterity. You can watch Episode 2 by using the video response link below The Border Collie is designed to be a sheepdog and was originally used for herding livestock in the English and Scottish Borders. Border Collie Rescue assesses all dogs coming into our care for herding ability and will rehome them as stockdogs if that is what they need to do but we also assess and rehome for scent discrimination skills to the Police, Prison Service and Excise to detect drugs, explosives and firearms -- to SARDA and other rescue organisations for mountain rescue and search and rescue work -- to help deaf, blind or otherwise disabled people as well as for working trials, flyball, agility, obedience and other interactive sporting disciplines and many of our dogs have qualified for Crufts in these disciplines. Those that show us they do not need or want to work are rehomed as PAT dogs, pets and companions.

Legal differences between EU countries are one of the remaining barriers to the internal market. To boost cross-border trade, cut costs and give customers greater choice, the EU has drafted a Common European Sales Law. Maria Baeva Petrunova, from Bulgaria, experienced these obstacles first hand: "Last year I tried to buy a kindle online for my husband as a birthday present," she says, "but unfortunately I wasn't able to. I did everything I was required to to complete my order, but despite that, in the end they said they wouldn't deliver to Bulgaria". Both in her private life and as a dentist, Maria has found that she has greater choice and better prices if she buys her goods from abroad. But she quickly realised that things were not going to be that easy for her as a Bulgarian citizen. "I wanted to purchase supplies for my dental surgery from a German company via the internet." says Maria. "But the next day they sent me an e-mail saying that they couldn't process my order as it had to be 300 euros minimum for delivery to Bulgaria." Maria didn't want to place such a big order unless she could be sure about delivery times, packaging, and sales documents, which might not be compatible with the Bulgarian tax system.
