Gen 14:4 The name Chedorlaomer or Kĕdorla`omer means "handful of sheaves" This is a reference to the wave offering of sheaves of firstfruits offered in the temple. Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: Lev 23:10 Counting the OMER is a reference to Passover and Shavout/Pentecost. And ye shall count unto you from THE MORROW after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: Lev 23:15 On Shavuot the LAW or TORAH which means INSTRUCTION/TEACHER was given. We know that the HOLY SPIRIT is our INSTRUCTOR/TEACHER..ref John 14:26, 1 John 2:27 On Shavuot/Pentecost the HOLY SPIRIT was given as well and the disciples were filled with the SPIRIT and they spoke in different tongues. 1And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4And they were ...

"Your Lot in Life" chapter 19 "Rescued by Abraham." Lot is saved from death in Ur thanks to his uncle, Abraham, along with the servants of Abraham and Lot.
