Tansen
Renowned, talent singer Tansen is settled in a small village. He has a lover whom he loves madly namely Tani. His singing talent pampers everyone in his village namely the animals, the Maharajas and other living organisms. A Maharaja Badshah Mohamed Jallaudin Akbar is pleased with Tansen singing talents and invites him to his palace. There, Tansen sings and the musical instruments start accompanying him on their own. Akbar, impressed with this, appoints Tansen as his Sangeet Samrat. When it is Akbars birthday, Tansen has a visitor none other than Tani, and he refuses to attend Akbars birthday celebration. Akbar himself comes to Tansens house, and meets with Tani. He tells Tani that Tansen is already married, and that she should leave immediately. Broken hearted Tani leaves and seeks some answers from life and a crunch that might as well destroys Tansen for life.

Amirbai Karnataki GHAR GHAR MEIN DIWALI HAI Film Kismat 1943 Music by Anil Biswas
www.murad.pkAmirbai Karnataki (ca 1906 - March 3, 1965) was a famous actress/singer and playback singer of the early Hindi cinema and was famous as Kannada Kokila. Mahatma Gandhi was an ardent fan of her song Vaishnav Jan To. Amirbai Karnataki was born in Bilgi village, District of Bijapur in Karnataka into a middle class family. Of all of her five sisters, Amirbai and her elder sister, Gauharbai, earned fame and fortune. Amirbai completed her matriculation and went to Bombay at the age of fifteen. A representative from HMV was so impressed by her singing talent that he made her sing a Qawwali, which became very popular. Her elder sister, Gauherbai, was an actress and helped Amirbai get a role in the film Vishnu Bhakti in 1934. Initially, Amirbai sang songs in films, but they failed to attain the success she desired. In 1943, with the release of Bombay Talkies' Kismet (1943 film)(1943), she achieved popularity: the songs of Kismet became a rage and Amirbai became famous. The man behind the success was the composer Anil Biswas. She was initially known as a singing star, but at the decline of her career she became a playback singer. She reached her peak by 1947. At this time Lata Mangeshkar became a rising star, so once again Amirbai switched over to acting. In her later years she mostly played character roles. Amirbai also composed music for Wahab Pictures' Shehnaaz (1948). In the same year she almost left Hindi Cinema forGujarati and Marwari films. She was married Badri ...

PALAT......TERA DHYAN KIDHAR HAI. SANJOG (1943). CHARLIE.
MOVIE. -- SANJOG (1943). LYRICS. --- ARSHAD GUJARATHI. SINGER. -- CHARLIE. cineplot.com M/D. -- NAUSHAD. Charlie 'Palat Tera dhyan kidhar hai" -- it was a typical honk of the champion comic of the pre-Partition Indian cinema. Noor Mohammad Charlie made a great splash in the sea of the Indian cine kingdom, when he entered the foray with his own zany jokes and word variations, apart from his pet phrases and lingual zig-zaggers. It is an undeniable fact that Muslims have dominated the humor department in the Indian film industry over the 73 years history of the talkies, including Yaqoob, Noor Mohammd Charlie, Mirza Musharraf Agha, Johnny Walker, Mehmood, Ghauri, A. Shah Shikarpuri and others. About Noor Mohammad Charlie, you could say that with his own distinct style, he was the most hilarious doctor of the best medicine. Noor Mohammad belonged to the Memon community, and like many young men of his age, he was a great fan of Charlie Chaplin. He loved to walk and talk with Chaplin's style and even had a tiny moustache like his ideal artiste from Hollywood. Those were the days when the world was overwhelmed by the incredible talent of Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, The Three Stooges, Butt Abbott & Costellou, Norman Wisdom and many others. As the World Wars ravaged the world in the first half of the 20th century, the people thronged to the cinema to forget and drown their sorrows in laughter and fun. In India, a similar trend was in the offing, and Charlie just swept away the ...

Nani teri morni ko mor le gaye..Renu Mukharji-shailendra-Hemant Kumar..tribute to little wonder
Masoom is a 1960 Indian Bollywood film directed by Satyen Bose. It stars Ashok Kumar, Sarosh Irani, Honey Irani and Mohan Choti. Screenwriter Ruby Sen won the Filmfare Award for Best Story. It was also nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Movie. The Lyricist is Shailendra and music by Hemant Da, includes songs such as 'Nani teri morni ko mor le gaye' and 'Humein un raahon par chalna hai jahaan ghirna aur sambhalna hai'... This song "naani teri morni ko mor le gaye" was from a 1960 movie called "Masoom". Another kids movie by the same name was released in 1983, and people have forgotten all about this earlier "Masoom". This cute song was written wonderfully well by Shailendra and music was composed with such loving care by Hemant Kumar. The singer was none other than Hemant Kumar's own daughter Ranu Mukherji. In 1945, Hemanta married Bela Mukherjee (died 25 June 2009),a singer from Bengal. Although Bela (maiden name also Bela Mukhopadhyay) had sung some popular songs in a Bengali movie, Kashinath (1943), with music by Pankaj Mullick -- she did not actively pursue her musical career after marriage. They had two children: a son, Jayant, and a daughter, Ranu. Ranu as Ranu Mukhopadhyay pursued a music career in the late 1960s and early 1970s, with somewhat limited success... Jayant is married to Moushmi Chatterjee, an Indian film actress who was popular in the 1970s. Not the only song of Ranu. She sang in Bees Saal Pehle (Hemant Kr), Saazish (Shankar Jaikishan), Eent Ka ...
