Iran is a multy-racial country.their culture is based on feeling ,peace and philanthropy. as the western tourist say they are so hospitable and friendly. wikipedia: The Iranian peoples (also Iranic peoples) are a historical ethnic-linguistic group, consisting of the speakers of Iranian languages, a major branch of the Indo-European language family, as such forming a branch of Indo-European-speaking peoples. Their historical areas of settlement were on the Iranian plateau mainly in Iran, certain areas of Central Asia such as Tajikestan, most of Afghanistan, parts of Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan and scattered parts of the Caucasus Mountains. Their current distribution is spread across the Iranian plateau, stretching from the Indus in the east to central Anatolia in the west, and from Central Asia and the Caucasus to the Persian Gulf - a region that is sometimes termed the Iranian cultural continent, or Greater Persia by scholars, representing the extent of the Iranian languages and influence of the Persian empire.

The Iranian-Persians
The Persian people are defined by the use of the Persian language as their mother tongue. However, the term Persian has also a supra-ethnic significance and has been historically referred to a part of Iranian peoples. The origin of the Persian people is traced to the ancient Indo-Iranians , who arrived in parts of Greater Iran circa 2000-1500 BCE. Starting around 550 BCE, from the region of Persis in southern Iran, encompassing the present Fars province, the ancient Persians spread their language and culture to other parts of the Iranian plateau through conquest and assimilated local Iranic and non-Iranic groups over time. This process of assimilation continued in the face of Greek, Arab, Mongol and Turkic invasions and continued right up to Islamic times. Numerous dialects and regional identities emerged over time, while a Persian orientation fully manifested itself in Iran and Afghanistan by the 20th century, mirroring developments in post-Ottoman Turkey, Europe, the Caucasus and the Arab world. With the disintegration of the final Persian Empires of the Afsharid and Qajar dynasties, territories in the Caucasus, and Central Asia either became independent from Iran or incorporated into the Russian Empire. The Persian peoples emerged as an eclectic collection of groups with the Persian language being the main shared legacy. Diverse populations in Central Asia, such as the Hazaras show traces of Mongol ancestry. As Persian was the lingua franca of the Iranian plateau (the ...

I'm Iranian من ايراني هستم
The Iranian peoples are a collection of ethnic groups, defined along linguistic lines as speaking Iranian languages. They are spread across the Iranian plateau, stretching from the Hindu Kush to central Anatolia and from Central Asia to the Persian Gulf - a region that is sometimes termed Greater Iran. Speakers of Iranian languages, however, were once found throughout Eurasia, from the Balkans to western China. As Iranian peoples are not confined to the borders of the current state of Iran, the term Iranic peoples is sometimes used to avoid confusion with the citizens of Iran. The series of ethnic groups which comprise the Iranian peoples are traced to a branch of the ancient Indo-European Aryans known as the Iranians or Proto-Iranians. Archaeological finds in Russia, Central Asia and the Middle East have elucidated some scant information about the way of life of these early peoples. The Iranian peoples have played an important role throughout history: the Achaemenid Persians established one of the world's first multi-national states and the Scythian-Sarmatian nomads dominated the vast expanses of Russia and western Siberia for centuries with a group of Sarmatian warrior women possibly being the inspiration for the Greek legend of the Amazons. In addition, the various religions of the Iranian peoples, including Zoroastrianism and Manichaeism, are believed by some scholars to be important early philosophical influences on Judeo-Christianity. Early Iranian tribes are the ...

History of Iran & WW3.
The earliest archaeological artifacts in Iran were found in the Kashafrud and Ganj Par sites that date back to the Lower Paleolithic era. Mousterian Stone tools made by Neanderthal man have also been found. There are more cultural remains of Neanderthal man dating back to the Middle Paleolithic period, which have been found mainly in the Zagros region and less frequently in central Iran at sites such as Shanidar, Kobeh, Kunji, Bisetun, Tamtama, Warwasi, Palegawra, and Yafteh Cave. Discovery of human skeletons in the Huto cave and the adjacent Kamarband cave near the town of Behshahr in the Mazandaran Province, south of the Caspian Sea in Iran, suggest human habitation of the area as early as 75000 years ago. However, recent studies in the valleys of Shuresh, around the earlier mentioned caves, led to the discovery of 400000 year old stone tools.[53] Evidence for Upper Paleolithic and Epipaleolithic periods are known mainly from the Zagros region in the caves of Kermanshah and Khorramabad. Early agricultural communities such as Chogha Bonut in 8000 BC, Susa (now a city still existing since 7000 BC) and Chogha Mish dating back to 6800 BC. started to form in the western Iran. Dozens of pre-historic sites across the Iranian plateau point to the existence of ancient cultures and urban settlements in the 4th millennium BC,[59][60][61] centuries before the earliest civilizations arose in nearby Mesopotamia

Iran, Cradle of the World. ( Part 1 of 2)
Older Than The Egyptian Civilization By: M. Sadeq Nazemi-Afshar, 2003 If the earth unveils its secret It will eventually show its origin Ferdowsi It is a proven fact that the origin of many ancient discoveries and inventions was the man dwelling in the Middle East and particularly a vast part of it, which is known as the Iranian Plateau. During the first 500000 years of the Ice Age when mankind spread in Asia, huge glaciers covered Central Asia as well as the northern and central regions of Iran, creating conditions, which were not suitable for the life of men. Meanwhile, southern Iran was much more humid than it is today, covered by vast expanses of meadows, which provided a favorable climate for our ancestors. Therefore, before reaching China and Java, mankind must have dwelled in this area for thousands of years. As a result, it would be appropriate to search for relics of one-million-year-old man in the southern Iranian Plateau. Some paleontologists have suggested that men have reached East Asia through the Persian Gulf, for this waterway totally dried up three times during the Ice Age. Thus men could have potentially crossed this passage. However, the fact that the bed of dried up seas remains arid for thousands of years as a result of layers of salt and a lack of soil formation, makes it highly unlikely that men have crossed the Persian Gulf. The highest possibility is that between a million and 500000 years ago, men have entered the Iranian Plateau from Africa ...

Ancient Persian Art Crafts_ هنر صنایع دستی در ایران باستان
Persia, one of the oldest countries in the world, and one of the earliest civilizations in the history of art, occupies the Persian plateau, bounded by the Elburz and Baluchistan mountains in the north and east. In ancient times, during the first Millenium BCE, Persian emperors like Cyrus II the Great, Xerxes and Darius I extended Persian rule into Central Asia and throughout Asia Minor as far as Greece and Egypt. For much of Antiquity, Persian culture intermingled continuously with that of its neighbours, especially Mesopotamia (present-day Iraq), and influenced - and was influenced by - Greek art. Early Persian artworks include the intricate ceramics from Susa and Persepolis (c.3500 BCE), as well as a series of small bronze objects from mountainous Luristan (c.1200-750 BCE), and the treasure trove of gold, silver, and ivory objects from Ziwiye (c.700 BCE). Most of this portable art displays a wide variety of artistic styles and influences, including that of Greek pottery. Items of ancient Persian art are exhibited at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and the British Museum, London.

The importance of Iran
Iran lies at the very heart of the Greater Middle East, and in a way or another is implied in each of the many regional problems. First of all, Iran is the direct heir of the great Persian empire and of its secular cultural influence on the neighboring regions. Tehran's ruling elite considers Iran a major regional power and for decades has been trying to acquire nuclear capabilities. Moreover, the Islamic Republic is the reference point of the Shiite galaxy, the minority branch of the Muslim world whose members live along the coast of the Persian Gulf – core of the world's oil production – as well as in Iraq, Afghanistan and other parts of the region. This Shiite crescent is perceived as a serious threat by Saudi Arabia, a mainly Sunni country, and by other Gulf States. But there's more to it. Iran is home to the world's third largest oil reserves, that in fact cannot be fully exploited because of the country's long international isolation. Also, Iran's strategic position makes it able to blockade the Hormuz strait, a bottleneck on the world's most important oil sea route. Through its axis with Syria, Tehran finances the Shiite Hizbullah movement in Lebanon and the Sunni extremists in the Gaza Strip, thus posing a direct threat to Israel. Finally, the Iranian plateau is located between the Caucasus and the Indian Sea. Thus, it could be a valid alternative to export the oil and gas from the Caspian basin without crossing Russia. But, at the moment, this remains un ...

Text -Ancient Iran-Elamite Empire
The ancient Elamite Empire lay to the east of Sumer and Akkad, in what is now southwestern Iran. The Elamites called their country haltamtu or hallatamti, which was translated as Elam by the neighboring Akkadians. The high country of Elam was later more and more identified by its low-lying later capital, Susa and called Susiana by geographers after Ptolemy. The Elamite language is unrelated to the neighboring Semitic languages, Sumerian language, and Iranian (Indo-European) languages, and the Elamites themselves were an Alpine people who had migrated to the Iranian plateau in prehistoric times Elamite history is conventionally divided into three periods. The Old Elamite period begins with the oldest attested Elamite kings, approximately 2700 BC. Elam, designated NIM by Sumerian scribes, with the meaning simply of "highlands," had not previously been unified in any way, neither ethnically nor culturally. Elam fell under the political control of Akkad in the 22nd century BCE. The Avan dynasty reasserted Elam's independence. Shulgi of Ur (c. 2094-c. 2047 BC) conquered Elam for a time. About the middle of the 19th century BC, power in Elam passed to the Eparti dynasty. Hammurabi of Babylon attacked Elam in 18th century BC. King Kutir-Nahhunte I of Elam counter-attacked, and dealt a serious defeat to Hammurabi's son Samsu-Iluna. It must be noted however, that Elamite artifacts and remains from earlier times, continue to be discovered in central and southeastern Iran (example ...

Faces of Ancient Middle East Part 2 (Ancient Iranians)
Iranian peoples first appear in Assyrian records in the 9th century BCE. In Classical Antiquity they were found primarily in Scythia and Persia (Eastern Europe, Central and Western Asia). They divided into "Western" and "Eastern" branches from an early period, roughly corresponding to the territories of Persia and Scythia, respectively. During Late Antiquity, the Iranian populations of Scythia in the Eurasian Steppe were marginalized and assimilated by Turkic and Slavic migrations. The Scythian language was mostly extinct by the 10th century, with the exception of Ossetic spoken in the northern Caucasus. Various Persian empires flourished throughout Antiquity, and fell to the Islamic conquest in the 7th century. Origins The Iranian languages form a sub-branch of the Indo-Iranian sub-family, which is a branch of the family of Indo-European languages. Having descended from the Proto-Indo-Iranians, the Proto-Iranians separated from the Indo-Aryans early in the 2nd millennium BCE. The Proto-Iranians are traced to the Bactria--Margiana Archaeological Complex, a Bronze Age culture of Central Asia. The area between northern Afghanistan and the Aral Sea is hypothesized to have been the region in which the Proto-Iranians first emerged, following the separation of Indo-Aryan tribes. By the 1st millennium BCE, Medes, Persians, Bactrians and Parthians populated the Iranian plateau, while others such as the Scythians, Sarmatians, Cimmerians and Alans populated the steppes north of the ...

Russian TV Says Balochistan Liberation Army Is USA Dirty Dog
Balochistan (Balochi: بلوچستان) or Baluchistan[1] (lit. Land of the Baloch) is an arid, mountainous region on the Iranian plateau in South Asia: it includes part of western Pakistan, south-eastern Iran and south-western Afghanistan. The area is named after the numerous Baloch tribes. The majority of the ethnic Baloch speak Balochi, while some use Brahui as their second language. The small Pashtun population residing in Northeastern Balochistan speak Pashto. The southern part of Balochistan, where Baloch and Balochi originated, is known as Makran.
