The General- Dispatch w/lyrics
The General There was a decorated General with a heart of gold That likened him to all the stories he told Of past battles won and lost and legends of old A seasoned veteran in his own time On the battlefield he gained respectable fame With many metals of bravery and stripes to his name He grew a beard as soon as he could to cover the scars on his face And always urged his men on But on the eve of great battle with the infantry in dream The old general tossed in his sleep and wrestled with its meaning He awoke from the night just to tell what he had seen And walked slowly out of his tent All the men held tall with their chests in the air With the courage in their blood and a fire in their stare And it was a gray morning and they all wondered how they would fare Till the old general told them to go home Chorus: He said, I have seen the others and I have discovered that this fight is not worth fighting And I've have seen their mothers and I will no other to follow me where I'm going So, take your shower, shine your shoes You got no time to lose You are young men you must be living Take your shower, shine your shoes Well, you got no time to lose You are young men you must be living Go now you are forgiven But the men stood fast with their guns on their shoulders Not knowing what to do with the contradicting orders The general said he would do his own duty But he would extend it no further The men could go as they pleased But not a man moved their eyes gazed straight ahead ...

THe Father of todays reggueton (EL general) Kept it real with this tune Rica y Apretadita. You don't have to be vouger (o volgar) in order to dance it in a dignified way. This was reggueton, El General did in the US BEFORE everyone else. Respect the Father of this kind of music.

Dark Souls General
View the NG version: www.newgrounds.com It's better quality. Also, vote it up cause that's cool. This took longer than i thought it would. Though admittedly I was getting just kinda sick of coloring/background making at the end. That kinda delayed it a few days Anywhoos! Here's my take on Dark Souls. To be honest I'm not sure how to feel about this cartoon. I started off really liking it, but then it kinda became a chore near the end. Hopefully you can enjoy it even if ya haven't played Dark Souls. And if ya haven't, then go play it now.

The world is fascinating. People and cultures inspire us. Sadly, the fast paced lifestyles of our generation result in many not taking the necessary step back to soak in the existing world around us. Our goal with this film is to help viewers further appreciate and take notice of the beauty in life & culture that lies within our world...
...so the next time you notice something that strikes you as interesting, stop for a second, start powering on your camera, think about why it's unique, and snap the shot before you miss it. Life is extraordinary. Embrace it.

HDR Video Demonstration Using Two Canon 5D mark II's
Our HDR rig used to film this is now for sale, to raise money for the next generation! Contact us for details or to submit an offer.

This video highlights several clips we've made using our new High Dynamic Range (HDR) process. Video is captured on two Canon 5D mark II DSLRs, each capturing the exact same subject via a beam splitter. The cameras are configured so that they record different exposure values, e.g., one camera is overexposed, the other underexposed. After the footage has been recorded, we use a variety of HDR processing tools to combine the video from the two cameras, yielding the clips you see above.
HDR Video provides filmmakers with many exciting new opportunities. Not only can HDR video create interesting effects, it can also allow for even exposure where artificial lighting is unavailable or impractical. For example, when a subject is backlit, one camera could be set to properly expose the subject, the other the sky, resulting in video with perfect exposure throughout.
We will continue to develop and improve the HDR video process for better results and efficiency. For more information, check out our website

This is a personal project that would not have been possible without the support of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service. Thanks to the entire team for their generous access during training exercises and patrols this Summer. Since the Service began in 1973, it has carried out more than 21,000 missions ranging from urgent patient transfers to dangerous search and rescue missions.
This film is 100% 'real', but there are some new techniques for me here, such as using time lapse to create the illusion of forward movement for the helicopter ocean scenes. These flight sequences would not be possible without the skill and patience of Chief Pilot Peter Yates. Thanks also to Trevor Cracknell (for getting wet!) and Family.

The General - 1926 (BUSTER KEATON)
www.zazzle.com The General is a 1926 American silent comedy film released by United Artists based upon the Great Locomotive Chase from 1862. Buster Keaton starred in the film and co-directed it with Clyde Bruckman. It was adapted by Al Boasberg, Bruckman, Keaton, Charles Henry Smith (uncredited) and Paul Girard Smith (uncredited) from the memoir The Great Locomotive Chase by William Pittenger. The film was a box-office disaster at its original release, but is now considered by critics as one of the greatest films ever made. Keaton performed many dangerous physical stunts on and around the moving train, including jumping from the engine to a tender to a boxcar, sitting on the cow-catcher of the slow moving train while holding a railroad tie, and running along the roof. One of the most dangerous stunts occurred when Buster sat on one of the coupling rods, which connect the drivers of the locomotive. In the film, the train starts gently and gradually picks up speed as it enters a shed. The climax of the film includes a spectacular moment where a bridge (sabotaged by Johnnie) collapses as a railroad train crosses it. Keaton filmed the collapse in the conifer forest around the town of Cottage Grove, Oregon, using 500 extras from the Oregon National Guard. They all dressed up in Union uniforms and were filmed going left-to-right before changing into Confederate uniforms and being filmed going right-to-left. The production company left the wreckage in the river bed after the ...

The General (1926)
A 1926 silent comedy film starring Buster Keaton. Union solders have stolen The General, a Confederate train manned by Johnnie Gray, who was unable to enlist in the Confederate army because he is needed as an engineer. The Union plans to use the train to supply its soldiers in a sneak attack against the Confederates. But now it's up to Gray and his love, Annabelle Lee, to reclaim The General, recross enemy lines, and warn the Confederates. The General is based on a real incident during the American Civil War when a posse of northern soldiers hijacked a confederate train and a lone southern engineer found himself fighting the lot of them alone. Luna's General Work Day
Finally finished this. I originally envisioned this as a 1 month side project, but with all the other things I work on, such as My Little Bloopers and art pieces in general, along with the fact that I had to re-learn Flash all over again, it effectively took over 5 months to get this over with. There's a lot of little things that limited me here. The magical effects are simple and plain and music was added at the last second. I have another (MUCH simpler) fanimation planned, but I think I'll delay it a bit so I can focus on getting everything else up to speed first. Oh, yeah, I know this isn't the most appropriate thing to upload on Valentine's day, but...well, think of it as my thanks to all my viewers. You guys/gals make this all worthwhile. By the way, want to fiddle with the original flash source file? Here you go: www.mediafire.com Bear in mind that there is no sound, as it was added through another program. Also, for those wondering what the song at 1:34 is, it's Tatsunoko VS Capcom's training stage music. Added some annotation links in the credits to the "Find the difference" BGM as well as the TVC training stage music.
