Historical experiment into the possible rate of fire of a remington 1858 army civil war era firearm. Close to full BP loads last cylindar was a 45colt conversion cylindar. I was not trying to rush the firing to much but rather trying to get a smooth cyl change and avoid jams. DONT ATTEMPT THIS I TOOK EXTRA PRECAUTIONS WHEN MAKING THIS VID THAT ARE NOT APPARENT. ♕ facebook.com ♕ twitter.com ♕ OnlineChessLessons.net Paul Morphy Vs Consultants (Count Isouard & Duke of Brunswick), Paris 1858 -- Morphy, an absolute attacking monster, produces a legendary 17 move classic. This has got to be one of my favorite games of all time, as the New Orleans native literally introduces a new threat with every single move. He clearly demonstrates the 3 Basic Opening Principles 1. Control the center. 2. Develop your pieces. 3. Protect your king. CORRESPONDING ARTICLE WITH INTERACTIVE BOARD AND MORE: www.onlinechesslessons.net An extremely impressive victory by the 21 year-old Paul Morphy! A short video of me shooting my new 1858 Remington .44 cal Black Powder Revolving Carbine made by Uberti, it is the same as the 1858 revolver but has a 18 inch barrel and sholder stock, i use a 451 round ball and 30 grains of black FFF powder, I paid 850 Australian dollars for the rifle, and its a blast to shoot, load the powder then a ball then grease the top of each chamber and ya ready to shoot, and when ya finished for the day you have nothing left to do but clean the gun, and boy oh boy does it get dirty LOL, heaps of fun. You might notice the strange way i am holding the rifle as i am shooting, because this is a black powder revolving carbine there is the remote posabilty of more then one chamber firing at a time, this is why the chambers are greased after the ball has been loaded into the chamber, so because of the design of the rifle and risk of injury to your off hand you hold the stock with both hands and never put your off hand in front of the cylinder while shooting. Its a barrel of fun.
