False news about arrest of Moscow anarcho-guerrilas (Russia)

Since yesterday evening there are spreading news about so-called capture of people suspected in maintaining blast of road police station on 7th June 2011.
This news come from the anti-extremist police department and media… They say that 4 people are arrested, and one young girl had resisted during her arrest and injured cop with her knife. Firstly we are proud to declare strictly that blast of road police was taken by our insurgent group — BlackBlocg.Info collective. As a evidence of this fact we was first who had spread a communique and video from the action. Everyone of us is out of prison now, we are all free and cheerful to continue revolutionary struggle. Police lies as usual — they have arrested people who had no relations with our group. Still nobody in Anarchist movement knows names of arrested, but we hope to learn it soon, and then International solidarity and help will be needed strongly… Let honour and bravehood be with our imprisoned comrades. Together we will win! Freedom, Equality, Solidarity!

Punk comrade Juan arrested for stealing gasoline (Italy)

The 29th of August a Spanish comrade was arrested. Juan and another friend were stopped by police. The charge against them is the stealing of 70lt of gasoline from an ‘Anas’ building site near Susa (Torino). They were both brought to the Valley. After a few days Enrico was released and Juan was confirmed in prison.
In recent months Juan was in Chiomonte fighting against the TAV (high-speed train). He’s a spectacular comrade and a fantastic friend… We don’t have to leave him alone!
Anger grows more and more…

In this important turn in the discourse on the 2011 riots, Darcus Howe also links these events with those in Port of Spain Trinidad, Syria and other parts of the world. As shown in the link below he refers to the violence as the ‘nature of the historical moment’. First trial of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire ends with severe sentences (Greece)

The verdicts and sentences were announced today in the first Conspiracy of Cells of Fire trial (the so-called “Halandri case”), and the end results are not good. The three-member tribunal imposed even longer sentences than those requested by the prosecutor. The breakdown is as follows:
Haris Hatzimichelakis: Guilty of forming a terrorist organization, manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and causing explosions at the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the home of former Interior Vice-Minister Panayiotis Hinofotis, and the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 25 years in prison out of a total combined sentence of 77 years.
Panayiotis Argyrou: Guilty of forming a terrorist organization, manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and causing explosions at the Ministry of Macedonia-Thrace, the home of former Interior Vice-Minister Panayiotis Hinofotis, and the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 25 years in prison out of a total combined sentence of 77 years.
Giorgos Karagiannidis: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 20 years in prison out of a total combined sentence of 32 years.
Panayiotis Masouras: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years and 6 months in prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Submitted an application for a suspended sentence.
Alexandros Mitrousias: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years in prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Chose not to submit an application for a suspended sentence.
Konstantina Karakatsani: Guilty of manufacturing explosives, possessing explosives, and being an accomplice to the explosion at the home of PASOK ministers Louka Katseli and Gerasimos Arsenis. Sentenced to 11 years in prison out of a total combined sentence of 19 years. Submitted an application for a suspended sentence.
Manolis Yiospas: Guilty of three misdemeanors including robbery and fraud. Sentenced to 2 years and 9 months in prison. The prosecutor initially requested that Yiospas be acquitted, and after the prison sentence was announced the prosecutor then proposed a three-year suspended sentence, which the court accepted.
Nikos Vogiatzakis: Acquitted of all charges due to lack of evidence.
Errikos Rallis:Acquitted of all charges due to lack of evidence.
Friends and relatives of the accused, but also the defence, commented on the severity in the imposition of sentences considering that for the majority of those sentenced, the court judged that their participation in the organization was of only a few months.
The state, its court and its other dogs have shown once more what happens to decent people who live for freedom.

Communique in solidarity with Mattia and Fede, Milan (Italy)

During the night between 14 and 15 June, two anarchist comrades were arrested in Milan, at Lambrate train station, accused of possession of explosive material. They are presently being held in the prison of San Vittore.
The two were in the station but they fled the view of some officials, attracting the attention of police who were then stopped them. Checks determined the two were undocumented and already known to police for numerous precedents. One of them was believed by the cops as belonging to the eco-anarchist scene and the police have ordered a search of his apartment, which has led them to discover “pyrotechnic” and “arsonist” material, all homemade, a fuel tank, ski mask and wig.

Via Contrainfo, an open letter from G.Ch. and Vaggelis Stathopoulos, anarchist comrade accused of membership of the Revolutionary Organisation – Revolutionary Struggle, for which he denies his participation. However, Vaggelis never hid his anarchist ideas and activities, for which now the modern totalitarian State aims to make both himself and his social and family environment suffer.
Targeted attack with double recipient
On June 7th, at 4.30 after midnight an arson attack was acted out against my mother’s car that I drove lately, since the police refuses to return my vehicle after 14 months, which is held on the pretext of investigation. Along with my mother’s private car, a targeted attack took place against the motorcycle of my childhood friend and comrade who had the misfortune that I lent the car to him for a few days.
The attack came shortly before dawn, just below my friend’s house which is only a block away from the police station of the neighbourhood. Specifically, a black car, Jeep type with tinted windows and no plates (reminds you of something?) stopped alongside the narrow street, where the co-driver got down and threw a large quantity of flammable liquid on both vehicles, having ensured to place rags soaked in flammable liquid at the headlight of the motorcycle while he left a large jerry can on the roof of my mother’s car. THIS UNPRECEDENTED JURIDICAL COUP D’ETAT WILL NOT PASS!
The three comrades Christoforos Kortesis, Sarantos Nikitopoulos and Vaggelis Stathopoulos who are accused for participation in the urban guerrilla group ‘Revolutionary Struggle’ but have repeatedly denied all charges against them, have now received summons for Thursday, June 9th, at 10am ordering them to (re)present before the Appellate Judges Council that will (re)decide whether ‘to extend the pretrial detention or not.’
On the same day at 12.30, the defense lawyers of all persons involved in the same case have been called to present before the council which will issue the decree for the trial, judging who will be brought to trial and on what charges.
The juridical manipulative approach (or otherwise ‘orders from above’) for the re-imprisonment of the three anarchists, is now more than visible. What do the judges mean by the phrase ‘to extend the pretrial detention or not’ given the fact that the comrades are no longer in pretrial detention but were released on bail nearly two months ago, after an unanimous and (supposedly under the State laws) irrevocable decision issued by the Appellate Judges Council?
Does the Appellate Judges Council forget (?) to indicate that they will not decide but re-decide? It’ll be the second time (unprecedented in legal history records) that the same issue will be examined (it seems that the first judgment did not ‘fit’ in the imaginative scenarios which the anti-terrorist unit has set up regarding the three comrades). In fact, already their imprisonment has lasted twelve months, and the State laws stipulate that no council has jurisdiction to re-imprison them until they face trial.

Belarusian anarchists sentenced – up to 8 years of hard regime, evidence lacking.
On the 27th of May, judge Zhanna Khvoynitskaya sentenced the Belarusian anarchists Ihar Alinevich, Mikalaj Dziadok, Aliaksandar Frantskievich, Maxim Vetkin and Yeveni Slivonchik. The young men were accused of a number of political actions, amongst which was the attack against the Russian embassy in Minsk in August of 2010. (more…)

50 people arrested in Tokyo High Court May 20, 2011 (Japan)

The routine of the modern totalitarian state: arresting 50 people that dared to question the decision of a high-court judge, the same miserable git who forced a compulsory purchase order on a farmer for the sake of industrial development.
May 20, in the Tokyo High Court, 50 people, including the Secretary General of the Farmers’ League against Narita Airport Construction, Koji Kitahara and almost all of the farmers who attended the court this day, the president of Zengakuren (All-Japan Federation of Student Autonomous Bodies), Oda Yosuke and other students and workers were arrested.
After less than one minute “explanation of the reasons”, Judge Shigeki Inoue issued a provisional execution order to forcibly expropriate a building of the Farmers’ League. The farmers and their supporters protested the ruling and demanded to meet the judge. Instead of responding their demand, the court called the police and made them arrest 50 people.

SHOOT OUT IN PEFKI, ATHENS, TWO COPS AND ONE COMRADE INJURED –Announcement of the Revolutionary Organization Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (Greece)

On the evening of Wednesday 18th of May, a cop car tried to do a random check on two comrades who were standing next to a motorbike in the Pefki area, Athens. The two comrades decided to not stick around and started walking away, the cops ran after them and after a short chase, the two comrades shot towards the cops injuring two but one of the comrades, Theofilos Mavropoulos,(he originally gave a fake name but after the media and the cops put his photo everywhere he was identified) also fell injured from the bullets of the cops and was arrested while the other comrade managed to get away after stealing the police car and dragging a cop for a while, dumping it two kilometres away (good luck comrade!). Theofilos is now hospitalized, with the anti-terrorist cops in his room and outside.

Forward Intelligence Team cops cover up attack on Ian Tomlinson (UK)

Two years ago, FIT cops Steve Discombe, Alan Palfrey and Ryan Cowlin stood only feet away from Ian Tomlinson when he was hit by PC Harwood, a blow which led to Tomlinson’s death. But, according to an IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) report out today, they claim to have seen very little of the attack and didn’t even bother to include it in a written report. PT JMI’s iron ore mining plans claim a victim again: Tukidjo.
Sunday, 1 May 2011 at 11.00 in the morning : 9 police officers arrived via a single car from the direction of PT JMI’s Pilot Project heading to Tukidjo’s farm in Gupit village in Kulon Progo. Three of them then exited the car and approached Tukidjo, who was taking a break from working on the farm. The police then said that the Head of the Kulon Progo Police Intelligence Force was waiting inside the car, and wanted to speak with him. The police said; “We only want to ask for information”. Out of curiosity and innocence, Tukidjo followed them to the car. When he was standing beside the car he was forced to get in, afterwards the windows were rolled up, and the car quickly sped away from the farm. (more…)

Anti-anarchist raids in London and Brighton (UK)

Breaking news, more updates as we receive them:
Metropolitan police have raided several squatted autonomous centres in London, in a media-spectacle in which the pigs promise more raids. The raids are apparently in connection with the 26 March TUC demo / Black Bloc and the pathetic Royal wedding this weekend which has been hyped up.
The Ratstar squat in South London was amongst those raided, as were 2 nearby squats. Also Offmarket squat in Hackney and Grow Heathrow squat were raided. Current reports are that 14 people are arrested so far. No one has been charged yet. The arrested are being held at Harrow Road Policestation.
On Wednesday March 27 police officers from the Metropolitan and Sussex police forces raided squats in Brighton and arrested seven people. This was also allegedly connected with the TUC demo / Black Bloc.

Stokes Croft Riot after massive police raid against Telepathic Heights squat in Bristol (UK)

Update 30.4.11: 1 comrade remains inside the cells in Bristol from Telepathic Heights, accused of manufacture + possession of molotovs + making threats with the items. Others arrested that night have received charges or are on bail, whilst a few have already been before the judge receiving low penalties.
April 21, 2011. 10pm. A riot starts after a 160 strong multi-regional police force coordinated assault shuts down a district and breaks down the door of a squat named ‘Telepathic Heights’ in Bristol.
The cops then violently harass local people and get attacked in return. Telepathic Heights is in the busy cultural area of Stokes Croft, Bristol, where there are many bars, cafes, squats, community projects, etc. 300 people fight the police for hours and hours in response to the police occupation of the neighbourhood. A corporate supermarket is looted and destroyed, whilst none of the other (independently-owned) shops on the streets are touched in the disturbance.
Everyone is in the streets. Barricades are lit, the cops face an anger that has not been seen for a long time. It seems like it is just beginning. Bristol has been burning now for some time… it will be a hot year of discontent.
9 people are arrested: 5 from the street, and 4 from Telepathic Heights accused of possession and manufacture of molotovs.
