29 April 2010:A cash rich rail firm, Go Ahead, is receiving a £1 million a week subsidy from the taxpayer on top of being allowed to increase fares 3% above inflation, the TSSA union revealed today.

Hundreds of Jarvis staff stage protest outside Network Rail HQ

28 April 2010:Network Rail was accused today of "washing its hands" over the fate of 1200 Jarvis staff who lost their jobs when the rail maintenance firm went bust over two months ago.
