Benazir Bhutto killed

December 27th, 2007 1 Comment

http://www.harrywalker.com/speakers_template.cfm?SPEA_ID=48Today Benazir Bhutto, former Prime Minister of Pakistan, was killed in a suicide attack. She was killed by an assasin who blew himself up right after he killed Mrs Bhutto - according to her security advisor.

Bhutto went into self-imposed exile in Dubai in 1998, where she remained until she returned to Pakistan on October 18, 2007, after reaching an understanding with General Musharraf by which she was granted amnesty and all corruption charges were withdrawn.

More on that at CNN

Hi folks,

you are now able to browse through the google news from right here:

No kidding, guys. This chimp is more intelligent than the average human. At least after years of training in this special task. Or does it “just” have a photographic memory? Beats me.

Take a look - it’s amazing:

People, don’t miss my very own GOD Page here, OK???!!! I had hours of fun yesterday. Isn’t that weird? A grown man plugged to the screen, hitting that randomize-button several times a minute and laughing his pants off!

I felt like being a little boy again, …. GREAT!

Hi guys ‘n’ gals,

I  read a press release the other day about that embryonic stemcells can be produced now by using human skin cells. (find the release here in my science pr section). OK, I can see the difference. But is this really ethical? Does the fact that you can now use skin cells justify the whole act itself? I am not so sure on that. We should take a good look on what comes after that.

OK, not that new - I know.

Here is a picture of her.

This summer she said to Hollywood Life: “I’ve been in the business most of my life. You get to a point where you learn to only show people what you want them to talk about or see.” - Hmmm, I guess that’s showbiz. Is it that we literally force people to become less naturally? From what I heard/read she still finds it weird finding people screaming when she shows up somewhere. Hey, she’s twenty. She’s a great actress IMO. But I like to add a little controversy here. She likes her job and she knows very well how to show people what they want to see. Sometimes I like to get “behind the scenes” of some peoples psyche but often enough I am just one of the crowd enjoying what the bring to us.

I was lurking some sites about John Leguizamo and ended up with “The Diving and The Butterfly” - I am normally not into this kinda movie, but after watching the trailer, I am really thinking now. I also found a nice slideshow with photos from the premiere… :-)

And the slideshow:

Hello to all.

First off, sorry for the bad start. You may have experienced some errors when trying to access the third party news on this site. It appears that this is a cross-browser problem. Therefore, I pulled down everything which has been written here and I am starting things all over. You may flame me now ;-) Sorry again, but I will get everything back together, promised.

Anyway. I found it the best solution to “outsource” the third party content and use the good old blogger platform. From now on there you will find any news I pull from external sources, such as articles and videos. You find them in the links menu. Bare with me though… ;-)
