On Sept. 8, 2008, a symposium entitled, “The US Healthcare System in Crisis: Achieving Universal Coverage,” was held at the Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. Attorney Joel Segal, who is Senior Health Legislative Assistant to Congressman John Conyers (D-MI) said:

“The 47 million [uninsured] people [in this country] can’t wait anymore. There is money in the system. We just have to have the political will” to get the job done. To watch the video of the event, go here:
