When I was a college intern, I was tasked with integrating the TWAIN standard into our software. The name is, of course, a stupid acronym: “Technology Without An Interesting Name.”

Apparently it’s still around and I still think it’s a stupid name.

Tough loss for the Blazers tonight. This was LeBron’s 40th point on the night – say what you will about who is the greatest of all time, but you cannot deny that 40 points at age 40 is truly remarkable.

For my final coffee shop on my latest quest, I went out on a high note at J Vein Caffé. Tucked into an old Airstream in a local food court, this coffee slaps. Just look at that mocha! It’s a work of art. So good. Definitely try this place out if you can.

The All Star Game this year felt really weird and poorly orchestrated.

Mac deserved that win. But it would have been nice to have even a little real competition. It wasn’t even close. 🏀

They really need to increase the incentive on winning the dunk contest. These are not the best leapers or dunkers in the NBA. Shaedon Sharpe versus Ja Morant is the showdown we need. 🏀

Thankfully the NBA Celebrity All Star Game has ended. Now that it has concluded, I completely fail to understand how anyone was selected to play in this dumpster fire.

The jump-stop, pivot fadeaway appears to be the preferred shot of choice for this game.

NBA courts are so much longer than an LA Fitness court. These “celebrities” are going to be exhausted by the end of this.

Preparing for the expected ice storm.

After a week off because of travel, my body resisted the whole run. Not my best work. 🏃

Today, I had the good fortune of discovering the delightful Junior’s Roasted Coffee. It’s a cozy shop that was converted from an old gas station. The interior is spacious and the coffee was really great. This would be an easy place to see myself doing some remote work. I’ll definitely be back!

My daughter just told me that her old college roommate just had her position eliminated because of the madness in our capital. She worked doing humanitarian aid for a truly noble cause. We will be judged by how we took care of the widows and orphans.
