Angling Direct comes to Walsall! A substantial milestone, as we open our 50th store in the UK.   Previously Allen's Fishing Tackle, which unfortunately closed it's doors back in February, is now the site of our 50th UK store and 5th in and around Birmingham. Angling Direct acquires Total Angling   We are delighted to share some news with you today – Shropshire’s largest tackle shop, Total Angling in Shrewsbury is now part of Angling Direct.   This is a substantial milestone, and we are thrilled to gain the knowledge, expertise and experience of the current TA team. Why stop at 50! Over the past few years we have seen our Uk store estate not only grow in size, but transform in to an industry leading retail experience. Nobody does it better in my opinion! A testament to such a hard working team Angling Direct PLC Last week (hot off the heels of our 1st EU store in Utrecht ) saw us open our 51st UK store in Newark. A 10,000 sqft superstore, catering for every anglers needs. If you haven’t already, then go and check it out.

Thank you Walsall!   The grand opening celebration of our 50th Store on Saturday18th May was an incredible day.   The store has been open for a few weeks, welcoming customers new and old to the refurbished shop at📍651 Bloxwich Rd, Leamore, Walsall, WS3 2BQ. That didn't stop a large queue of eager anglers forming from 7.00am to take advantage of some fantastic offers.   TeamAD in-store colleagues and departments worked tirelessly to deliver this project on time. Well done everyone! The store looks tremendous and is gaining some excellent feedback from our customers.   A huge thank you to all our partners involved in this project, including M2K Services for the build, as well as Dragon Signs UK and Colour Studios for the signage. All three companies combined to produce our new rod wall solution! It looks amazing! Route Media and their fantastic Digi van. Ashley Signage, Print & Display for the POS materials throughout the store. The River Group for the promotional bay theme signage and last but not least Rising Elegance Balloons Crewe. On the day Scott Lloyd representing Sticky Baits, Brandon George and Matt Godfrey representing Guru, as well as Chris Harby and Jamie Wilde from Bait-Tech were in store.
