My original credit card company was changing my card with new terms and condition. So I thought maybe this Amazon reward master card would be a good replacement. It turned out to be a huge and massive disaster. First of all, it took a long time to arrive after the approval. 2nd, after it arrive it was very difficult to activate. When I finally activated, it's not usable in any store except on Amazon.ca; so it is not a master card but more like a membership card for Amazon only. I thought OK, maybe it's their new product, so they need some time to set up. My nightmare hasn't fully mature until the payment date. I wasn't able to make payment to my account despite many attempts in their website, at my bank, with my iPhone bank app. On their statement, the account number are blocked. Even my bank can't figure out how to pay. My calls got into some kind of loop. I can't talk to human. This credit card is just frustration times 1000!!!!! I wasted so much of my time dealing with this crab. Now, I am not able to make payment into my account. Instead of rewards, I'm going to get charge. If you are a support from MBNA, please contact me and help me. I need to make payment today!! PLEASE!!!!!

Sounds really great and I apllied for one. What worries me is when you look into the fine print that they ask for at least 7.50$ for balance transfers or 1% of the amount.
Is that not ruining the whole advantage of this card? I got to do some more research but it is not so easy to find answers.

Update:
I had a great talk on the phone with MBNA, the bank which issues the credit card, and they explained to me you pay no fee if you let them get the due amount directly from your bank account. The 1% or at least 7.50$ is only due when it is paid by another credit card.
So for me everything is fine and as a Prime customer I enjoy the extra perks.

It's great if you are a regular Amazon purchaser with the rewards being gift cards.
I was apprehensive at first as I know someone with the card and like others they haven't been able to use the card in person.

Every store I've used this in, maybe 5 different stores and parking meters, other online payments, ferry reservations, even a towing fine I was able to use the card no problem.

The interest free payment plans on bigger purchases is really good, spread it out over 12 months for no interest instead of paying it off before the 21 days is really good also.

A few percent lower interest and longer periods of interest free payments than my regular bank credit card.

The only thing I don't like is the mbna app and online banking. But that's not an Amazon problem

I've had an excellent experience shopping on Amazon.ca with this credit card that I signed up for on Amazon.ca and saved a fair bit of money using it for my purchases there as well via the points rewards redemption system, which is also excellent. I'm very happy with my experience using this credit card!

I love my Amazon MasterCard! I can make purchases easily and it gets billed directly to my MasterCard. Bonus deals apply.
One thing I do not like (as per not giving it the 5 star review) is that the bank linked to the card doesn't want to let me make an online account without calling them directly. I can make the entire account online until I get to the end and then it says "call our 1-800 number for assistance". Well the whole point of doing things online is to not have to speak to a person. I am quite capable of doing this online.

I use my Amazon Mastercard for my Amazon purchases and so far, I like it because I can keep track of my purchases on this one card but also earn cash back which is so nice! The only thing I would love to see on my Account dashboard on Amazon is my card balance owing which would be fantastic as I would not have to go to the card website to look up the amount owing and due date. It’s great to get cash back.

I applied for this card on a whim one day after making a purchase on Amazon. I have not had this card for that long and I have already received my first Amazon Rewards Gift Card!

The interest rate is on par with other cards and I love the fact that I get gift cards back for using my card (especially when I get to use it on Amazon!) This is my go to card now. (Always pay your balance before the interest accrues and you won't have a problem regardless of the interest rate you may receive.

If you are looking for a good "cash back" card and shop on Amazon, I would really look into this card.
