Call for papers:

Obstetrics & Gynecology will publish a special issue dedicated to advancements in gynecology. Submissions of original research, reviews, and studies advancing diversity and equity in surgical and nonsurgical gynecology are encouraged. Submissions due by April 15, 2025. Please select Innovations in Gynecology Special Issue classification.

Obstetrics & Gynecology will publish a comprehensive special issue devoted to all aspects of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder. Submissions of original research and reviews are encouraged. Submissions due by December 1, 2024. Please select Placenta Accreta Spectrum Special Issue classification.

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists have announced an expansion and diversification of the College's publication portfolio, with the introduction of O&G Open. The new journal provides readers with an open, peer-reviewed, online journal, allowing for immediate and worldwide distribution of articles focused on obstetrics and gynecology and closely related fields. O&G Open builds on the well-respected reputation of Obstetrics & Gynecology, which will provide medical professionals of obstetrics and gynecology with new resources on a variety of translational, clinical, and scientific topics.

O&G Open will follow a continuous publication model where papers will publish online as soon as they are available. Several types of articles can be submitted for publication which will include: Original Research, Research Letters, Case Reports, Systematic Reviews, Narrative Reviews, Clinical Perspectives, Executive Summaries, Consensus Statements, Guidelines, Procedures and Instruments, Personal Perspectives, Junior Fellow Personal Perspectives, Clinical Conundrums, Questioning Clinical Practice and Letters to the Editor.

Accepted manuscripts of ACOG members will be eligible for an APC discount and some articles will be considered for an APC waiver.
