Please remove openings from your careers page if you are not going to review the candidates. Please, no multiple rounds of interviews that takes weeks to complete. Don't you love hearing about recruiter's transparency strategies like Jalonni Weaver's here in her post? I know I do! I really appreciated her point about having all her candidates know that her inbox is alway open for potential questions and concerns they may have during the process. This one thing greatly boosts my confidence and desire in working with a company that I am interviewing with. If they have the resources to accommodate and speak with individuals outside the company without making them feel disregarded and left in the dark, then I have greater certainty that I will feel cared for and have the necessary resources needed once within the company. What additional strategies might you add to increase recruiter transparency in the application process?

As a recruiter, I've noticed a concerning trend in my work. Candidates who make it through the initial interview process fail to attend on-site interviews or even their first day of employment. It's astonishing how many people don't realize the negative impact this has on their reputation and future opportunities with that same company. As someone who has been in this industry for a while, I always advise my candidates to be truthful with the company and the recruiter. It's better to withdraw from the process than to ghost everyone and damage your chances of future opportunities. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic and how you handle it.
