On July 2, the first preparatory meeting for the third United Nations Ocean Conference took place at the United Nations headquarters in New York. During the meeting, the two co-chairs of the Group of Experts on Ocean Literacy, #RonaldoChristofoletti and #DianaPayne, representing the UNESCO-IOC Member States, symbolically handed the Venice Declaration to Peter Thomson, the United Nations Secretary-General's Special Envoy for the Ocean. Their presence contributed to the successfull inclusion of Ocean Literacy in one of the action panels of the conference in Nice, scheduled for June 2025. The Venice Declaration was endorsed by the Ocean Literacy community at the recent Ocean Literacy World Conference organized by #PradaGroup and UNESCO Ocean within the context of the ongoing #SEABEYOND project.

A look into the future”), moderated by “Foglio della Moda” journalist #FabianaGiacomotti, together with #PaolaFrassinetti, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Education and Merit, #FabioPietrella, Member of Parliament for Fratelli d'Italia, #CarloCapasa, President of #CameraNazionaledellaModaItaliana, and #ErikaAndreetta, Senior Partner at PwC. During the event, the results of the study "Women and Fashion", carried out by the PwC Italia Studies Office in collaboration with "Foglio della Moda", were presented.
