- Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI)
A federal program providing CSI funds to LEAs to develop and implement school plans to improve student outcomes. (SACS Resource Code: 3182) - Title I - Parts A and D
A federal program to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and state academic assessments. A federal program that increases student academic achievement through strategies such as improving teacher and principal quality and increasing the number of highly qualified teachers in the classroom and highly qualified principals and assistant principals in schools. A federal program to provide supplementary programs and services to assist EL and immigrant students in achieving grade-level and graduation standards, as well as assisting EL students with acquiring English. A federal program to increase capacity to provide all students with access to a well-rounded education, improve conditions for student learning, and improve use of technology to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy of all students. - Assistance for Homeless Children and Youth Program (AHCY)
The purpose of the Assistance for Homeless Children and Youth program is to support the provision of immediate services or assistance to local educational agencies (LEAs) impacted by the California wildfires in 2017. The purpose of the Immediate Aid to Restart School Operations Program (Restart) is to assist local educational agencies (LEAs) and non-public schools with expenses related to the restart of elementary and secondary schools in areas where a major disaster or emergency was declared related to the consequences of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and/or Maria or the California Wildfires in 2017. Federal funding used to provide education related services in which the learning environment was disrupted due to a traumatic crisis or violent event that impacted teaching and learning. (SACS Resource Code: 5653) - Temporary Emergency Impact Aid for Displaced Students Program (Emergency Impact Aid)
The Emergency Impact Aid program provides funding to local educational agencies that provided instructional opportunities for displaced students who enrolled in their schools as a result of the October and December 2017 wildfires in northern California, and for expenses the LEAs incurred in serving those displaced students. State funding to each County Office of Education (COE) in support of the Safe Schools for All program for the purpose of strengthening local efforts for the reopening and operation of schools providing in-person instruction as established in Sec 7 of Assembly Bill (AB) 86 (Ch 10, Statutes of 2021).
