    OPINION: Regardless of your ideology my fervent hope is you will meet the threat he represents and send him to the dustbin of history by the means that we have as citizens of the Republic: your vote.

      OPINION: I just read the news that Warren Winiarski has passed. I have read many letters and articles all praising his role as winemaker and winery owner and his philanthropy. 

        OPINION: Until I see positive evidence that the City of Napa cares enough to make life better for its residents living in neighborhoods like ours, I'll leave the downtown experience to our local elites and our tourists.

          OPINION: There is a very important and very unsettling contrast in what our Agriculture Secretary is saying and doing, trying to save small family farms and how Napa County is treating small family wineries.

            OPINION: For the first time, three of our five Napa County supervisors voted to uphold regulations already in place but which, in the past, have been "mitigated" by a system in which the interests of certain factions of the wine industry have too often determined.

            OPINION: So he is a convicted felon. I say don’t put him in jail. Let him be nominated, run for the presidency, and be elected.

            OPINION: The Napa County Republican Central Committee condemns this horrific decision in the New York courts and the 34 guilty counts. It is, and has fully been, a political attack.

            OPINION: It's really not the politicians that are the problem. The real problem lies in the people who vote for them. Over and over and over again.

            OPINION: “NIMBY” Not-In-My-Backyard, is habitually employed by developers and their supporters—including bureaucrats—to compartmentalize and denigrate citizen concern over developments believed to materially affect their environment, aesthetics, quality of life, health and safety and, usually, property values.

            OPINION: Our Central Solano Citizen Taxpayer Group has been fighting the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District over Measure S from the beginning.
