What if #plastic biorecycling had just moved up a gear? Yesterday was a major milestone in the plastic circular economy as it was the laying of the foundation stone of the first plant of Carbios, a company that has developed a disruptive technology for enzymatic recycling of PET. This plant, a world first, will enable PET biorecycling to be scaled up and Carbios technology to be deployed internationally in sectors such as #packaging, food, beverages and textiles. This foundation stone illustrates our historic collaboration since 2017, which resulted in the creation of the first bottle using Carbios' technology. #Biotherm will be the first of the Group’s brand to launch a product in this bottle of the future.
