Hosted by Emmy®-winning Chef Frankie Celenza, the series covers everything you need to know about getting the most bang for your buck in the kitchen, from budget-friendly meal prep to simple appetizers to weeknight dinners. Over nine seasons, Frankie has cooked more than 400 recipes and this landmark episode is a true celebration of everything the team has accomplished. To commemorate the occasion, check out Chef Frankie's reflections on the journey to 100 episodes: "'Struggle Meals' has now aired 100 half-hour episodes, each showcasing four recipes. When the team and I started making these five years ago, I had no idea the impact we’d have. Initially, I thought the target was students in school, or freshly on their own. In actuality, the show has touched nearly every demographic, as food prices have done nothing but rise. To be completely candid, I don’t believe the name of our show does justice to the great work we bring to viewers. I know that “the struggle” is no joke, so does my team; for those who watch the show, it’s apparent how educational and effortless it is to enjoy. For the others who judge what the show might be like based on the name, they’re more often than not incorrect in assuming the contents within. It was nearly three seasons deep before I realized the responsibility and opportunity I hold as the host of a show that aims to entertain, teach, and most importantly deliver great meals at affordable prices. I’m grateful for it every day we film and develop the show, which keeps me going."
