The U.S. Department of Labor is hiring a Electronics Technician in Sandy, Utah. This position is open to the public and closes on May 20, 2024. Position duties include: -Assists engineers in the maintenance of instrument calibration systems that provide a working standard against which field instruments will be tested and calibrated. -Assists in the development of calibration procedures, recommends changes and improvements to existing procedures, which are used to evaluate the instruments accurately and identify possible deviations from OSHA inspection requirements or national standards. -Determines the need and initiates requisitions for spare parts for both the safety and industrial hygiene instruments and associated calibration systems that the technician works on or with. -Maintains records of work performed and prepares special reports on instrument performance as assigned. https://lnkd.in/etHF8Hqj
