✨ What an incredible full circle moment seeing and spending time with Susan David, Ph.D. at the #LyraBreakthrough Conference today! Susan was one of my earliest wellbeing icons (and still is)! I'm so grateful for her constant inspiration, brilliance, and our growing friendship. 🥰 Her talk today drove home crucially important points about the future of leadership: 💡Subject matter expertise is no longer the differentiating force — human skills are. These long-denigrated "soft skills" like emotional agility, presence, resilience, and compassion are front and center for effective leaders, and thriving organizations. 💡We are in a "revolution of the heart" and it’s calling on us to cultivate organizations and communities that help people truly thrive. We must meet the world as it is, not as we wish it to be, with emotional agility and acceptance. 💡It's hard to human right now, but great leaders create a secure base for themselves and others with courage and vulnerability. Susan's work on cultivating emotional agility is more vital than ever! Check out her game-changing book, research, learning journeys and newsletter. 👉 https://www.susandavid.com. 📖👩🏻💻 Immense thanks to Keren W. (pictured) for making this possible, and to her and Joe Grasso, Ph.D. for the life-changing work they're leading at Lyra Health. Grateful to be in your orbit! 🙏 #emotionalagility #humansustainability #inspiration #gratitude

Employee morale is the overall attitude and outlook of employees. It drives productivity and engagement. 🙂 Employees with high morale feel supported and cared for. They’re invested in their jobs and have positive relationships with co-workers and managers. ☹️ Employees with low morale may experience frequent conflicts, feeling unsupported and disconnected from work and peers. Is your organization struggling to build team morale? Here are a few telltale signs to look for. https://bit.ly/3JTtv2W #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth

Everyday making it easier for families to access quality mental health care at the world’s largest private employer.
I had such an incredible time this week at #LyraBreakthrough learning from incredible employers doing incredible things to improve employee mental health and well-being in partnership with Lyra. We love our Lyra Health partners and the care they provide our Walmart associates everyday while we ensure every associate and their family members have access to up to 20 mental health session per year — At. No. Cost. So much more to keep doing but I’m leaving with ideas for days and inspired to take better care of my own mental health. Big learning: we all HAVE to address mental health at an organizational level while we continue to provide care that is evidence based! Thank you to Georgia Alwon-Mount and the entire Lyra team for the tireless work day in and day out. #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters

Taking a moment to pause and breathe can make a world of difference in our mental well-being. 🌟 #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth Today, let's try balancing our breath with the simple yet powerful technique of even rhythmic breathing. Here's how: 1️⃣ Find a seated position and lengthen your spine. 2️⃣ Inhale gently through your nose for 4 counts. 3️⃣ Exhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts. 4️⃣ Repeat for 5 full breath cycles or 5-10 minutes. Notice how you feel emotionally, physically, and cognitively after. This practice helps us find calmness while staying alert. 🌿🧠
