Last week, in celebration of #NevadaReadingWeek, Zapponians had the incredible opportunity to spend a few hours reading to students at a local elementary school. It was a heartwarming experience that went beyond the pages of the #books we shared. The enthusiasm from the students was contagious, and the sessions turned interactive with students asking insightful questions about the books being read and then sharing with us their favorite books and series. Their passion for reading and the diversity of their interests were both inspiring and a poignant reminder of the power of #storytelling to connect us. We left the school with full hearts and a renewed appreciation for the simple joy of sharing a good book. A big thank you to the students and teachers who welcomed us and made this experience so memorable. 📚❤️

At Zappos, we dedicated #blackhistorymonth to honoring the rich landscape of Black #history and #culture. 🎉 Our month-long celebration included engaging events designed to inspire and unite our community and to educate and engage Zapponians. Most recently, we presented Black History Knight with the Vegas Golden Knights, we donated school necessities to local teachers, and we co-hosted a gala on the Zappos campus saluting local members of the Las Vegas community for their excellence in arts, leadership, community service, and advocacy. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making the Black History Month celebrations at Zappos a those of unity, diversity, and empowerment!

ZAAPI (Zappos Asian and Pacific Islanders), our Employee Resource Group, hosted a special Lunar New Year Lion Dance yesterday on the Las Vegas campus! We were thrilled to celebrate the start of the year of the dragon with everyone. The festivities included a few words from Vida Lin, President of Asian Community Development Council (ACDC).
