This week we are celebrating a major milestone with our two solar plants in Colombia: La Mata, boasting capacity of 100 MW, and La Unión, with capacity of 144 MW. Together, they have reached a daily generation of 935 MWh, achieving the amount of energy required by our contracts with customers. Our projects in Colombia were marked by significant challenges of all kinds, and we have worked very hard as a team, including daily calls for several months, to get to where we are today. In the name of our Senior Leadership Team I extend our gratitude our dedicated team members that sacrificed so much of their personal lives to make this happen, including Manuel Borja Ruiz, CARLOS CABET MUÑOZ, José Tomás González and so many others. These solar plants are an important step towards cleaner energy for Colombia and also stand as a testament to the dedication and teamwork of our incredible team. As a vertically integrated company specializing in delivering best in class products to our customers, with the development, construction, and operation of large-scale renewable energy projects, at SOLARPACK we are proud of our history developing in the 13 countries where we currently have projects. Let's continue this journey together! #renewables #colombia #teamwork

✍ Solarpack signs the Pact for Biodiversity and Natural Capital, promoted by the Spanish Business and Biodiversity Initiative (IEEB), the public-private collaboration platform managed by the Fundación Biodiversidad of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge to promote the integration of #biodiversity in business management.  By signing this Pact we support the 2050 vision of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework to live in harmony with #nature and the 2030 mission to take urgent action to halt and reverse biodiversity loss. 🌿🍃 We also commit to identify and disseminate the most relevant biodiversity and natural capital impacts and dependencies arising from our business and to publicise our biodiversity #conservation efforts and achievements. Sara Peña and Laura Rodríguez González, ESG Manager and HSEC, respectively, share their testimony about the challenges of our sector when integrating biodiversity into business management 👇 https://lnkd.in/dynZHSGk

🏃♀️🏃 We are proud to share that Solarpack has been a sponsor of the I Trail 'Cruz de Mayo'! This #event has been a great #success, with an exceptional participation in Brazatortas and its natural #environment, attracting around 400 enthusiasts.   We are pleased to be part of this special day where social and environmental commitment merges with a passion for sport.   The I Trail 'Cruz de Mayo' is part of the official calendar of the regional Athletics Federation and consisted of four events: a main trail of 27 kilometres, another of 16 kilometres, a 10-kilometre walking route and a children's urban race. We would like to congratulate Running Team and Ayuntamiento de Ciudad Real for the excellent organisation of this event.   At Solarpack, supporting local #sporting events like this is just one way of demonstrating our social #commitment to the communities where we operate. Our presence and #renewable activity in the area, where we have several projects under development, reflects our commitment to #sustainability and the well-being of future generations. At SolarPack, we focus on three key pillars: education, #energy and employment, as well as communication for development and volunteerism. 💚   It is essential for us not only to sponsor events like this, but also to ensure that our partnership has a positive and meaningful impact on our community. 🌿

At Solarpack, we place the focus on our #customers as our top priority, which is why we conduct site visits and closely monitor the performance of our #renewable assets. This allows us to offer more efficient #solutions tailored to our customers' needs, while maintaining our operational excellence as a distinctive hallmark.   As an example of this, Solarpack's Asset Management team, together with the Operation & Maintenance team and other external partners, visited the Valkyria project, a 150 MWp #photovoltaic plant located in Cuenca, #Spain. The main goal was to lay the groundwork for future action plans.   We thank the entire team for their dedication and hard work, which makes it possible to move towards a more #sustainable future. Our strategy includes transforming SOLARPACK into a multi-technology company. The journey to incorporate wind, energy storage, and green hydrogen in our portfolio is an exciting one, and it involves hundreds of people working in multiple countries to make it happen. We are happy to share a little bit of that journey, with what will likely be our first wind projects to be contracted with customers. Nestled in the province of Lugo, in Galicia, Spain, this cluster of five projects, totaling 230 MW of capacity, will mark the transformation of our company in our home country.  Galicia is one of the best areas in Spain or the development of wind power, and has over 4 GW of projects installed, we are proud to add to that history.  Congrats to Jose Luis Garcia Perez Begoña Montero de la Rica, Alvaro Naz, Luis Knörr Gomeza, Álvaro Zarauz, Javier Recalde Zamacona, and others for leading the development of these projects to this stage, and looking forward to seeing them built! It's incredibly fulfilling to look at the site where a project will be constructed, to work on its development for years, and to later see it taken to commercial operations, helping reduce carbon emissions in the atmosphere, I hope to be able to post these same pictures with the projects built in a few years! #renewables #wind #galicia

Excited to share positive news! RAM Ratings (RAM Group), the leading credit rating agency in #Malaysia and Southeast Asia, has confirmed the AA2/Stable rating for the ASEAN Green SRI Sukuk Wakalah issued by Solarpack in Malaysia, with a value of up to RM 305 million (Malaysian ringgit), about €60 million.   This #rating underlines the strong project economics and exceptional operational performance of our 90.88 MWac solar PV plant in Malaysia, which became operational in March 2022 as part of Malaysia's Large Scale Solar Plan 3.   We thank our entire team for this achievement and especially Kok Hoe Chan, our country manager in Malaysia, for his dedication and leadership in this process.   Solarpack began its activity in Malaysia in 2016. 3SP, as Solarpack’s project company, was awarded this solar project under Malaysia’s Large-Scale Solar 3 (LSS 3) Scheme in 2019.   Solarpack's activity in Asia began in 2015, specifically in #India, successfully consolidating its presence through eight solar PV plants across the country. With the commissioning of the Gorbea and Anboto projects in 2025, Solarpack will reach a portfolio of 1 GW of capacity in India. #renewable #energy #renewableenergies #sustainability

🔝 The students of the Forestry and Natural Environment Management Training Cycle of the CER in Lora del Río have had the opportunity to visit the Solarpack solar photovoltaic plant in Las Rozas, Seville.   During the visit, they discovered first hand and in a dynamic and enjoyable way the operation of this solar photovoltaic plant and the benefits of renewable energies.   Upon arrival, the students received an induction on the safety and environmental regulations relevant to the visits. Subsequently, the project was presented to them, explaining the execution of the work, the importance of renewable energies, the project's commitment to the environment, the professional opportunities in this sector and the measures that Solarpack is taking in terms of the environment. The day ended with a guided tour by the site manager, who showed them the different aspects of the work in progress.   This initiative reflects the three fundamental pillars of Solarpack's social action: Energy, Education and Employment and demonstrates the company's commitment to the communities in which it operates. Responsibility for training and best practices in the sector, as well as awareness of the fight against climate change, are some of the main drivers of Solarpack's social culture. The company will continue to support such initiatives and to leverage its experience and expertise to create value for local communities.   We thank all the students for their interest and enthusiasm during the visit 💚 #energy #education #renewableenergies #climatechange #environment #socialculture #sustainability
