    Yesterday, we put our updated Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP) to our shareholders in an advisory vote at our AGM.     We’re delighted to share that 97.59% of the votes cast were in favour.    Our focus is now on delivery. To guide our progress, our plan includes: - New, stretching, approved near-term science-based targets for reducing our GHG emissions by 2030  - 10 action areas across our value chain, from addressing forest-risk commodities to reducing the impact of our ice cream cabinets  - Our ‘asks’ of governments, industry and regulators as we work to overcome barriers to progress and accelerate the transition to a net zero economy    While we have a lot to do, we’re partnering with our suppliers and others to drive innovation, reformulate our products and scale solutions.     By taking urgent climate action over the short term, we aim to progress towards our net zero ambition while delivering for our business over the long term.    Read our updated CTAP: https://lnkd.in/d9mKjSDR #UnileverInsights #CTAP #ClimateAction

    Meet Shehani Leo from Unilever Sri Lanka, sharing her #ThenAndNow story. Shehani started her journey with Unilever as a Management Trainee for Marketing in June 2021 where she worked on some exciting projects gaining valuable experience with iconic brands such as Lux and Pears in the Skin Cleansing category. With over a decade of experience at Unilever across both Turkey and the UK, Irem has played a pivotal role in developing our latest laundry innovation, Wonder Wash, by creating compelling claims and product demonstrations to make our product technologies clear and attractive for users. “I am amazed by the way we used our knowledge and built this into the design of Wonder Wash, which makes these products a great example of insight-led innovation” says Irem.
